The problem occurs in both the desktop app and the web version
My friend has the exact same issue
I have already disabled all GPU overlays
Windows 11 pro

When selecting one of the objects, I want to view the distance in pixels to another object by pressing the Alt button. However, copying the element is enabled instead, rather than checking the distance in certain numbers. How can I fix this issue? I paste the screenshot.

I just installed the latest version of Figma, and it seems that the “Measure to selection” shortcut/function doesn’t work anymore

 

What I’m referring to is when you select one object, then hold option key + hover over 2nd object to see the distance between the two objects - this doesn’t seem to work anymore. Instead of showing the distance, it’s showing the duplicate object icon…

 

Is this happening to anyone else?

This was driving me nuts until I found a solution a moment ago. In my case, clearing the Figma Desktop app cache worked.


I’ve cleared it using Terminal on Mac, following the method explained in this article:
