Part of Annotations disappear while used in section

When using annotations, there’s a recurring bug where some annotations are visible while others are not.

The issue occurs when annotations are inside a Section. If I remove the Section, the annotations immediately appear.

Hi ​@Yihong - this is a bit of an older thread you posted on, but I’m assuming you’re having this issue while using our desktop app. If that’s not correct, let me know.

If you are having this happen on the desktop app, can you try the following?

 

Go through this process in the menu Help > Troubleshooting > Reset Figma and Restart
 

 

Can you see if that fixes your annotation visibility?

I've tried to reproduce the issue on my end, but haven't been able to so far. Could you possibly share a video recording of the problem, making sure to show your full Figma screen? This will help us see exactly what you're experiencing and connect you with the right team if necessary.

Also, could you let us know if this is happening in the browser, the Desktop app, or both?

I see how some of the annotations pop up when you ungroup the larger section. I tried to replicate this issue with sections on my end, but haven't been able to so far.
