Hi, I need help recovering access to my Figma files. My Figma account was linked to my university email (example@university.edu), which has been deactivated after graduation without notice. I can no longer log in, and all my design files (3+ years of work) are stuck there.I have a personal Figma account (example@gmail.com) and would love to transfer the files there if possible. The university confirmed they cannot restore the email.Is there any way Figma support can help me regain access or move the files?Thanks so much in advance!

I have tried to reverify for education plan in Figma. Figma had asked me to submit my Passport or other identifications. After Some attempts, I came to know that they have blocked me for further submission. Need a solution on it.]

Hi, I have this issue in multiple Figma files. If I move frames with comments to another page, the comments still appear on the original page whenever the file is opened. The comments only disappear when navigating to the “moved” page and navigating back.This is really cumbersome because often the page in which frames with comments are moved to is a very large page which takes a long time to load. Also, engineers who are working off of the original page get confused about the comments that were moved and are not relevant to them.

I have Foundation, Alias and Mapped collections in my Variables panel. I have Light and Dark mode for all collections. For dark mode Alias, they can have Foundation dark mode as source. Dark mode Mapped can have dark mode Alias as source. 1 Strange workflowWhat I find.. is that when I want to pick a dark mode Foundation or dark mode Alias colour for my dark mode Mapped set… They are not available. I have to select a layer in my artboard, that is set to using dark mode… → Then I will have the dark mode colours available for selection inside my Variables panel. This is a very convoluted and cumbersome workflow for setting the dark mode colours that I want to use. Question 1 : Is this an intended workflow from Figma? How, with a short cut key can I see all the short cuts? In the UI it is specified as Ctrl+Shift+? but that only works on US International keyboards. It would be ok-ish that it doesn't but in that case it should not say so in at least two locations in the UI.  

I signed up for Figma using my school-issued email address and have attempted the student verification process twice. Unfortunately, both attempts were unsuccessful(I don’t know why.. I submitted my school ID photo), and now I receive a message saying that I have exceeded the verification attempt limit.I contacted SheerID for assistance, but they informed me that they are unable to help further. Therefore, I am reaching out here to request direct support from the Figma team.Could you please reset my verification attempts so I can submit the correct documents? If that is not possible, may I try the student verification again using a different email address that is not my school email?I need Figma Education for my coursework this semester, so I would greatly appreciate your guidance.

I am working on a project with my uni friends and this only pops up on mine. I can’t edit anymore(I could few weeks ago). This has never happened before, my friends use the free plan as well.

how do i go back to previous version of figma from the config 2025       

After a recent Windows update, I’ve been unable to log in to the Figma Desktop app. Each time I attempt to sign in, I receive the message: “Your login session has expired.”Here are the steps I have already tried: Uninstalled and reinstalled both the stable and beta versions of the Figma Desktop app. Manually deleted leftover files in AppData. Ended the FigmaAgent process and restarted. Reinstalled Microsoft WebView2 Runtime (installer reports it is already installed). Checked Windows Defender settings, including Controlled Folder Access (currently disabled). Despite these attempts, the issue persists. The browser version of Figma works without any problems, but the desktop app will not allow login.Could you please advise if there is a way to fully reset or repair WebView2, or provide a recommended fix for this issue?Thank you in advance for your support.Best regards,

Hello, I have an issue with my prototype. I set intercations to switch from one page to another, everything works well, but when I add an overlay to make a header appear different from the main one, which opens in scroll when you scroll down, it works but the other interactions no longer work. Why? How to solve this? Thank you!

There is a critical bug: when a Frame has the Draggable effect enabled, it’s not possible to assign a click action (for example, navigating to a new page) to the contents of that frame.

Hi Figma community,I'm designing a long scrollable screen within an iPhone 16 frame (H:852px). My content extends beyond the bottom of the frame, but I cannot scroll in Prototype preview.I was advised to select the frame and find the ​​"Constraints"​​ section in the right-hand Design panel, then change the setting from ​​"No scrolling"​​ to ​​"Vertical scrolling"​​.​​However, I cannot locate this "Constraints" setting at all in my panel.​​ My panel mainly shows style options like fill, stroke, and effects.Could you please guide me on how to find or reveal this option? Figma is adding one extra pixel to exports. This is happening in both exporting in a batch and exporting a single asset, as well as when exporting various file types. Also, the extra pixel is being added to height for the most part. But sometimes, the pixel is being added to the width, and sometimes both the width and height. 

Hi,currently it is not possible to select the L+R position constraint on elements with fixed scrolling position. This is a rally annoying bug, because you always have to switch to the prototype tab, set scroll behaviour to non-fixed, switch back to design tab, fix constraint, switch back to prototype and fix scroll position.When will there be an update/fix for this?Bestseb 

Hi! For some reason, Figma thinks that when I’m writing a copy to a text element, I try to use the one-button keyboard shortcuts, for example O, I, L, instead. This makes it very difficult to write practically any copy texts because whenever I press for example “i”, the color picker activates. Could you please either make it possible to disable these one-button shortcuts or make them two-button shortcuts? Or is there some other workaround that I’m missing?

In Dev mode if I want to just copy one or 2 lines from the style code block, it’ll paste it out as just a unicode instead.I’ll have to use only the copy button to copy all the code for it to work - which is overkill and a waste of time for what I need. This never use to be the way.  

Hi. I started newly use figma and ı can’t find it constraints. Anyone can help? 

I verified my account but I still can’t access a shared FigJam board for my university. I tried re-applying for verification several times but nothing changes. I contacted SheerID and they said I’m verified on their end, so it’s a problem with FigJam. From SheerID:“Since you were already verified with us, and if you are having issues with your Figma account, please contact Figma support directly and provide the verified request in order for them to help you. To assist you further, here are the details of your verified request, which you may share with Figma support if needed”

In Figma, I have DS Library A with Variable Set A and DS Library B with Variable Set B. Our shared icon library uses Variable Set B. When icons are used in Library A, colors get overwritten with variables from Set A. However, the theme switcher from Set B still shows up when applying variable modes.(i nailed it down to this problem, no other ghost variables or anything in the component. only components with an icon in it have this issue)What can I do to get this variable mode to disappear?

Hello, newbie here I am making a table with a dropdown option on one cell on each row but the other rows seem to overlap with the dropdown box, making the dropdown hidden behind the other rows. Please help! thank you!
