I changed my email from personal to work when I worked for the company. I want to change my email back from work to personal. It does not work because it has already been used. How do I switch back to the same personal email?

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out. This usually happens when the personal email address you’re trying to switch back to is already associated with another Figma account (the same email can’t be used on two accounts at once).
To switch back to your original personal email, you have a couple of options:

Sign in using the personal email address and check whether there’s an existing account tied to it. If there is, you can either update that account’s email to a different address or delete the account. (Please note, deleting your account is a permanent action that cannot be reversed. You will no longer be able to log in and your account will not be recoverable. Please make sure to check the Help Center article before do so: Delete your Figma account)

Once the personal email is no longer associated with another Figma account, you’ll be able to update the email on your current account.
