School not added to Figma Education – no response for several weeks

Hi there,

I have been trying to reverify my Figma Education status, but I can't proceed because my school does not appear in the new verification system.

I submitted the google form weeks ago to request my school to be added to the new system, but I have still not received any confirmation or update. I then sent a follow-up email a few weeks ago, and I am still waiting for a reply or any indication that they have seen my case.

I just wanted to ask if there's a chance to receive an update on my verification status, or if there's more information I should supply to speed up the process.

I really need to be able to continue working on some of my school projects, and the deadlines are getting closer.

I can see that you’ve already reached out to our Education team (Ticket #1622693), but haven’t received a response yet. I sincerely apologise for that. I’m going to escalate this to the team right away so they can review your case and provide an update as soon as possible.

Hi, I am also in the same situation. I did filled the form a while back and no reply was given. Then one day the whole Figjam files became view-only, locked.  I hope at least give me what else I need to submit to verify that I am in the education to use your brilliant product.

You’re not alone this seems to be a common delay with the new Figma Education verification. Unfortunately, responses can take weeks. At this point, your best option is to wait for the school list update or try reaching out to Figma support again with your case details. Hopefully they can manually review it, especially if you have deadlines coming up.

hi ​@JUN_NGUYEN-HATSUSHIBA - I just wanted to check in -- can you give me more info? Is SheerID telling you that your school is not recognized? Are they sending you any other specific wording?

Are you having issues with getting in contact with their support team directly?
