Figma Make not working

I don't know why but Figma Make just isn't working for me. Whenever i put in a prompt it just says "Something went wrong." I tried using different devices, different accounts, even different networks yet i still haven't found any clue to what might be the issue.

I’m experiencing the same problem. Has it been resolved for you yet? Are you using Figma on the web or the desktop app?

Hi everyone, Celine from Figma here, thanks for flagging this! I’m sorry you’re running into this behavior. Seeing a “Something went wrong” message across different devices, accounts, and networks isn’t expected.

As a quick workaround, due to the generative nature of Figma Make and AI models, a prompt can occasionally fail for an unknown reason. In these cases, waiting a short while and then trying the prompt again can help. If this keeps happening in the same file, please try duplicating the file and prompting again in the copy.

If the error continues to persist, the best next step is to report it so our team can investigate further.

To submit a bug report, please follow these steps:

  • Open our Support Hub

  • In the search bar, enter “report a bug”

  • Click Start a chat

  • Press Enter

  • Respond “Yes” to the next question

  • Submit the bug report

When submitting, please include a brief description of the issue and, if possible, a screenshot or screen recording showing the error. This will help the team look into what’s causing the problem. Thank you 🙏🏼
