Figma + Google Meets Screen Sharing = CRASHING

I understand you're running into some issues when screen sharing your Figma desktop app on Google Meet, leading to freezes and crashes in both Chrome and Figma desktop app.

To cover the basics, could you please try a couple of things for us?

• Make sure you're on the latest version of the Figma desktop app: Updating the desktop app
• Try clearing the Figma desktop app cache by following the steps in our help center article here: Clear the Figma desktop app cache

If the issue continues after trying those steps, would you be able to share a screen recording of the problem happening? This will really help us understand exactly what you're seeing and connect you with the right team to assist you if needed.

Basics have been covered. I will try to get video of this. However, this has happened to me and a coworker.

Could you please confirm if you’ve already tried the steps that were suggested in the previous reply?

• Make sure you’re on the latest version of the Figma desktop app: Updating the desktop app

• Closing and opening the desktop app and Reinstalling it.

If the problem still occurs after trying those, it would be super helpful if you could share a short screen recording of the crash.

same issue for me, google meet and figma cause video crashes. 1gb internet so i dont think that is the issue. computer has 24gb memory. not insane but should be ok i think?
