Dear support Figma team.I have noticed that my draft file is missing. I know the name of the file and remember even the names of some pages inside, but I couldn’t find it at all. I have only one account and I have checked deleted files. It is not appearing anywhere. I definitely created in my drafts, and it has no teammates to delete it. Please help, how could I restore it or find it?

I’ve run into a strange issue in Figma. Every time I launch the app and click on a text layer, it seems to “remember” that font’s predefined weights. Then, when I try to edit another text with a different font, the weight options from the first font are still displayed. If I try to change the weight, nothing happens.For instance, if I open Figma, select a text with the SF Pro font, and then create a new text layer using Comic Sans, the weight list still shows SF Pro’s options. Has anyone experienced something like this? And if so, is there any known fix?FYI, I’ve already tried reinstalling Figma, editing in the web version, and working in a different draft but the problem still remains. Moreover, it looks like all my drafts and projects were affected, so creating a new draft and trying it there doesn’t help either. 

Hello forum,I am currently working on typing descriptions for components and component variants for a large design system file with more than a thousand components. These descriptions are going in the component configuration modal window. This window is accessed by clicking the component configuration button on Figma's right side panel. I have noticed that canvas tools are getting triggered while typing descriptions inside the text input field. Has anyone else experienced this kind of behavior? For example, words with the letter t can trigger the text tool and therefore Figma jumps out of the description input field. Words with the letter o trigger the ellipse tool. Words with the letter c trigger the comment tool. H the hand tool, etc. This happens inconsistently. Is this a bug? Is there a way to turn off single letter hotkeys for the canvas creation tools? Thank you for the help.

Has anyone figured out a good way for helping the LLM using the MCP server to bridge the gap between the visual info (say, the color of a Button in the design) and the relevant component's properties (say, the correct `variant` that yields that color button)?We don't have Code Connect hooked up yet, but I'm skeptical that this would solve this particular disconnect because our components all use design tokens under the covers and all we see in the code are different properties that drive those behaviors. The LLM can’t see that using “emphasis” as a `variant` value will yield a blue button, for example.Interrogating the LLM on what it knows about the selected component yields a bunch of styling details, css, etc. so it knows what color the button should be, in my example, and I've given it our component docs so it knows what the valid variants are, but it can't bridge the gap between the two because there aren't enough dots to connect.This WOULD be solved via the "Component info" panel,

I am the admin. I accidently made another user, the owner of the project. It does not allow me to make myself owner again? When I click my name in the project, I can only delete myself? There are no other options?  How do I make myself owner again?

I am in need of figuring out how to create  the desktop pages to be the parent, and the mobile pages as the child. So when I use the desktop pages to make my changes they automatically get updated in the mobile pages.Right now I am doing double work, and its time consuming. Any help greatly appreciated

Recently, tap-to-click interactions have been broken in FigJam for me. I first noticed it 4 weeks ago and again it re-emerged this week. Observation: tap-to-click is not working. I have to use the button of my trackpad to select something. Troubleshooting:I’ve confirmed tap-to-click is working in other apps on my computer I’ve quit and re-opened the Figma desktop app I’ve toggled all settings and see no changeHas anyone else noticed this? It’s leading me to explore other whitebaord options that support my interaction patterns 

Hi, I’m learning figma for school and one of the assignments was to create prototype of an app in figma. I used smart animate to create bouncy animations, and when viewed in the interactive prototype–it renders an black fill box. any help? or is this a problem on my end. dev mode 

Hello, I have noticed:when switching component variants inside grid cell - something begin to break inside properties panel (there were cleaned properties before for sure I cleaned them perfectly!  - and some Property5 & 6 appeared after dragging cell variants).I think this is a bug. PSI can’t upload bug video here to show you (I don’t have google drive / loom / dropbox - btw why so uncomfy to add a video?)

I’m currently actively using and testing the Figma Site feature and found out that websites does not display correctly on old devices such as: Device: iPhone X & iPad Air2. Browser: Safari , Chrome (same issue) These websites contains vectors and Figma interactions such as scroll parallax. They are responsive when previewing, and works great on PC, iPad 3 and phones such as iPhone 14. Please help me out, and let me know how i could avoid this. Thank you very much.

Hello, How can I see to exactly which projects and files has access a User who has a "View Seat"? Is there a page? Or I have to check each project and each file? Thanks!

I have 2 icon libraries of different sized icons at 24x24px and 32x32px, Icons are named as such: 32/Right Arrow 24/Right Arrow etc.... These icons are in a frame titled Icons and published as a library.When I use these icons in a button with an Instance Swap property added for the icon, I can select from the Icon 24 folder or the Icon 32 folder:When selecting from the 24 folder, the resulting Icon is not 24x24px, it is resized to  ~ 32x32px. The original button was created using a 32x32px icon.Why does Figma not respect the icon size selected in the instance swap? I have tried creating the icons using the Icon Resizer plugin which uses auto layout and  manually with a frame and no auto layout. I have tried various settings in the auto layout options - fixed width (set to 24x24) and hug contents, nothing results in the selected 24x24 icon staying at 24x24. Should I have created icons with variants for the two sizes 32x32 and 24x24? Must I make two separate buttons one using a 24x24 ico

After running a few prompts, I received a message that I’ve reached the credit limit.Could you please guide me on: How I can check my current AI credit balance/usage? Whether there is an option to increase or purchase additional credits? If there’s any plan that allows unlimited prompts, since I need to create multiple screens and the current limit is restrictive. Looking forward to your guidance.

Is it possible to adjust the position of multiple overlays at once? I have a nav component with a dropdown set as an overlay which appears on each page. Everytime I edit this component (font size or link change) i have to go through every page and manually adjust the dropdown overlay to reposition it back to the horizontal center. Command + Alt + A doesnt work. Anyone know of a workaround?

Figma currently allows viewing design differences (diffs) only between a branch and the master file during the merge process. This means that only designers can see these changes, and only at that specific point in time—after the design work for a feature is completed. However, developers also need visibility into these design changes to implement the feature correctly. Ideally, Figma should provide a way for developers to view the differences between the master file and the current branch at any time, not just during a merge. I cannot see a way to do this, am I missing something or is this feature not yet part of Figma?

If we have a design system, do we also create design local component page in our product files? For example, if we have different row data across multiple tables in our product, do we need to create those row tables as components on our own product pages?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to download .fig files using the Figma API, similar to how the Magicul app does it. I found that Figma’s API doesn’t allow direct downloading of .fig files, and the .fig format seems to be mainly for manual backups. 

Hello, just started the “Site” project in Figma and noticed many times that the design I see in working interface and in the preview are different. It happened many times and I just tried to avoid the problem, but this time I don’t know what to do. Hello Figma team!I hope you are well. A few days ago I encountered that the function of adding min/max height and width when using auto-layout is not available, It appears but it doesn’t give a chance to edit the values, I don’t know if it is an issue with my PC or if it’s the app. Thank you in advance.

When a word is bold and is misspelled, selecting a spelling recommendation removes the text styling. This does the same thing with color, it’s very annoying! You can see the “:” is still bold after the spell change, but “Recommendation” isn’t.

We were working with someone at Figma to get full access for our teachers and students, but she is no longer getting back to us so we can't move on.  Does anyone have a contact to get this moving?  I tried the Support Center and the Chat, but I am getting nowhere.  I don’t want to start over.  We already had the Education Order Form completed and signed.
