The documentation here suggest that external agencies and freelancers will be able to edit inhouse files as long as they have their own Figma licenses, removing the need for us to pay for full edit licenses inhouse for them to use. It’s really unclear if this has been implemented or not with the latest changes on 11th March. If I downgrade our agency users seats to colab seats inhouse, can they still edit if they have their own full seats on their accounts?

When I enter my project, the images disappear, and I can't even save a layout.Does anyone know how I can solve this issue?Thanks

Before and after.It ruins whole setting and instead of couple clicks, to just remove unwanted library of style in my file, I have to spend an hour controlling 100 slides. So that they look as intented 😭

I am practising autolayout and I have a design with a couple of autolayouts created. However I am wondering why I do not get up the autolayout UI in the panel to the right? The first pic is how my UI looks and the pic below shows how I want it to look/it should look. Does anyone know what issue I am running into? Thanks. 

Hey, dudes! 😀In the teacher's lesson, when selecting an object, a window with options appears at the top, but I don't have such a window in Figma. 🤷‍♂️ As far as I remember, I used to have it too, but now I noticed that it is no longer there. Is there any way to install it? 

Is there a way in export settings to not create a destination folder when exporting frames or images? Please help!

I am currently creating a design system in Figma and I would also like to incorporate entire page layouts as templates into the Asset Panel.In this community file https://www.figma.com/community/file/1380235722331273046 ,there is a section in the Asset Panel called 'Examples' with layout templates. When you embed one of these templates on a page, this frame is not a component, but a regular frame with a blue border, which is made up of subcomponents.Does anyone know how I can implement this in my design system as well? When I insert components  from the Asset Panel into a page, they are always components and not regular frames...

Hi everyone, I’m experiencing some critical issues with Figma libraries and I’d love to get some insights from the community. Parent Component and Instance Connection is BrokenEven within the library file itself, instances are not properly linked to the parent component. When I modify the main component, the changes do not reflect in its instances, and sometimes the parent component cannot be located.  Instances in Linked Files Can't Find the Parent Component Team members linked their personal files to the library and used components from it. However, when selecting an instance and clicking "Go to Library," it navigates to the library file but does not take us to the exact location of the parent component. Additionally, when we try to "Swap Instance," the library does not appear in the list, and instead, it shows "Created in this file.” Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I’d really appreciate any advice from those who have encountered similar problems 

I built a component, added a string variable, which I called from an on-click event setup on a button.  It was working great.  The next day the variables were gone, and because of it, I can’t control the action on the component. Here’s the local variables (I added a color and a second string, just for testing I really only need the first one in the list):  Here’s a screenshot showing what is available when I try to apply one of those variables (note, the variables are created right in this file, yet when I select “Created in this file” they don’t show up - those two variables that are displaying, are in a different collection, but there’s 8 other variables below those that don’t show either): I cannot figure out what happened.  They WERE showing up when I first created them, and I was using them successfully.  Now they’re not listed as available variables that can be applied.  You can see that they’re in the collection called “Routing Switcher” which was created right within this page.

Hello, I am currently writing a software that recognises color differences. In my unit tests I am passing rgb values (i.e. blue: 0, 0, 255)I tried to do some smoke tests with some images exported with figma. To my surprise my tests were failing, meaning the colors were not the same/accurate or there was a bug in my code.To triple check I did not have a bug I’ve imported in Figma the exported images, used the color picker and yes Figma confirmed it to me as well. Here my export settings:Color profile: sRGB (this was basically the only option, selected by default) Quality: High Image Resampling: Detailed. Could this be because of the color profile used while exporting? Does this happen to you as well? Is this supposed to be like this?

I don't quite understand why I have 3 collections that I set different modes - responsive grid, font size, newsletter3 collections with mode currently, I have design for newsletter in desktop and mobile version I wanted to assign newly created “newsletter” collection to desktop and mobile so I create Desktop and Mobile mode in my newsletter collection but this collection just won't show in Appearance and also any value I try to search  previously, in my newsletter Desktop 600px, I still can see “responsive grid” and “font size” collection appear in Appearance, but Mobile only show “font size” collection, but now, I don't know why both of Desktop and Mobile can only see “font size” in Appearance now there must be something I don't know about using Mode and Appearance, I thought it is for responsive and light/dark mode, but I have no idea what is the restriction now, also i thought as long as I set something in the Local Variables, I can search them while setting the values. my initial t

Hey everyone! I’m trying to export multiple frames as a PDF, but it looks like the 'Export frames as PDF' feature is no longer available. I’ve checked on my Education plan, my company’s Enterprise plan, and a free account—none of them have the option. Has this feature been removed or relocated? Also, I used to be able to export PDFs with embedded videos, but now they just appear as images instead of videos. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a workaround?

Hi! I'm trying to follow the steps below to be able to export the CSV files from my Library, and I just can't. All the types of error you could imagine are happening now. Tried with different files and different figma tokens as well. With that said, is the Library API working properly? is there any other guidance?  

Hey everyone! I used to export frames as a PDF in Figma, and any embedded videos would remain playable inside the PDF. When opening the file in Adobe Acrobat, the videos would autoplay without needing to click anything. However, now when I export, the videos are converted into static images instead. Has anyone else experienced this change? Is there a way to keep the videos embedded and playable like before?
