My Designs are Under Review from 2 days. Why ? Can you please upload them to Figma Community in normal way it was uploaded. Yesterday I try to upload a new design to Figma Community it says contact Figma support. 

Hi!As a little context, I’m a graphic designer from south america. I’m currently working on a figma plugin made to export source images. I'm getting an error when calling figma.getNodeById, even though all functions in my plugin have been updated to async. The plugin works perfectly in my local environment and my manifest includes "documentAccess": "dynamic-page"), but the error only appears in the published version. The code.js in the dist folder is definitely using lastest build with the async functions. I've tried republishing multiple times, so it feels like a publishing issue,  almost as if Figma is still serving an older build.The full error is: Error: in getNodeById: Cannot call with documentAccess: dynamic-page. Hello,I’m trying to enable Gemini 3 Pro in Figma Make, but the “Experimental models” section isn’t showing up in my Settings menu. I’m using a education account. I checked in both the browser and desktop app. I’m working inside a Figma Make file, not a regular design file. My admin has enabled AI features for our team. I’ve refreshed the page and restarted Figma, but the Experimental models toggle still doesn’t appear. Is this feature being rolled out slowly, or is there something I need to adjust in my workspace or team settings? Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you.

How can I restrict access to pooled AI credits? The documentation says this will be possible, but I am not seeing the option in the admin controls.We are planning to purchase additional monthly credits that would be available as a shared pool for our team. I want to allow only certain team members to use the pooled credits while keeping others limited to their normal individual credit allocations. I do not see any way to configure this in the admin controls.Is this a feature that will only become available once credit purchasing is fully rolled out? I would like to understand how to manage access before we begin paying for credits.

Locked layers cannot be selected from the canvas but are still selected using the “Select All with Same...” . So I am not sure how to select all the layers with a certain e.g. Fill but only change the color of the unlocked ones. Am I the first one to think/stumble on this?

Hi everyone I need help. When I work on some design project in which I apply brush strokes and/or effects to vectors and texts, the file starts to slow down, not responding until I have to close it. The memory used by the file does not even exceed 1% so I thought it could be a problem with my computer (Macbook Pro M2 8GB RAM). Does anyone know if this is really the case or is it a figma problem? thanks in advance

Hi everyone, I have this PAINFUL BUG! that is killing my work flow.I’m super used to use [ , ] , cmd + [ , cmd + ] to move objects / groups / etc arround.On my personal computer they work as intended, but on my work computer 3 of 4 of em work.the CMD + [ for some reason that I cant wrap my head around is triggering the Text > Adjust > Decrease IndentationI’m totally clueless why this is happening.Here is my keyboard shortcuts layout on figma and on the mac.PLZ help me out to find a way to fix this, those shortcuts are kinda the bread and butter of my workflow!  

Description: Hi everyone, I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with Figma’s AI features and I’m hoping someone here can help.I used Figma’s AI to generate a complete dashboard layout. It worked great — I even asked the AI to create additional sections that I could later fill with data. Everything looked correct while I was working on it.However, after I published the file, all of the AI‑generated sections I added later suddenly disappeared. The main dashboard is still there, but the extra areas I created with AI are completely gone.This means I’ve lost several hours of work, and I can’t figure out how to restore those sections. I’ve already checked version history, but I can’t see the missing elements there either.Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a way to recover AI‑generated content after publishing? Any advice or workaround would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!

Let’s discuss ‘best-practices’ and some anecdotal examples/experience in managing Design System libraries. Specifically the relationship between component and variables. Questions:For your main/core component library, do you also publishes the main/core variables in the same library? ORDo you have a dedicated Library for the components, and a separate, dedicate library for your variables? List suspected/experienced pros/cons.

hello, I’m having issue with a prototype flow. The chat flow on the design I’m working on lags alot, the first attachment is the prototype previously, it was moving fast, I didnt change anything and it suddenly started lagging (the second attachement).Please how do i fix this? PS: all the other flows are moving fast and normal, only this one started lagging out of nowhere

Hi everyone, I have a question and cannot find the clear answer to it. For now Figma proposes so called “seats” (Full, Dev, Collab, View). In my small company, we have 30 people. We need to be able to create unlimited separate FigJam boards (just usual ones, no design boards, no dev boards - just boards where we can upload pictures, put basic rectangles and text blocks) + we need the whole team of 30 people be able to upload pictures and delete pictures, and write something on this basic board. So here is my question. Considering all the above mentioned information, can we just buy 1 Collab seat, and all other people - will be able to upload and delete pictures, being on the View seat? Or all 30 people should have the Collab seat as minimum, to have such an ability? 

As you can see, I am unable to export a library I have made for a project to figma make and I am not able to select the library from figma make either since it’s not listed there.Which is strange, since I also have a free tier team, and the library published from there is available to select from the figma make chat box, but the libraries published from my pro tier team are not there. Please help me understand this system. Also where do I check how many tokens I have left for this month?

Hi everyone,I’m facing a challenge with our current Figma component library. Some of the existing components were built without Auto Layout or have an inconsistent internal structure, which makes them difficult to maintain and scale.I’m planning to redesign and improve some of these components (mainly restructuring them and introducing Auto Layout). However, the updated versions would have a slightly different internal architecture compared to the original ones.My concern is how to replace the old components with the new ones without breaking or heavily impacting the designs that already use the existing instances across multiple files.What would be the best approach in this situation? Should I try to preserve layer naming and structure to allow swapping? Is it better to introduce a new component version and migrate gradually? Are there any recommended workflows or best practices for handling this in an established design system? I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences with

Hi I am trying to download some of my work as an offline copy, and figma is blocking it saying that it needs to verify that i am not a bot. When i try to verify using captcha, it says Temporary Error, please try again. i restarting browser and log out and log in, it has not worked. please see the screenshot  

So when clicking Edit Code from an original ‘Make’, I see in the chat it says ‘What’s next for your design?’.Issue / JourneyI start typing some new commands > It generates some thoughts / reasoning > works on the file > relays its thoughts > suddenly jumps back to  ‘What’s next for your design?’ with no previous chat showing or the current responce, just silence.TroubleshootingI’ve tried quitting/reopening Figma desktop but no luck.I’ve tried doing the exact same in a browser but same issue.I’ve tried starting fresh and creating a new Make project with a simple request, does the same thing.Do I need to clear cache? Am I limited to 3,000 AI credits ( although that doesn’t start until 18th March )?

Hello! I’ve been generating pictures in Figma for a year after purchasing a Professional Seat. Since yesterday AI doesn’t generate any picture when I attach a reference one. None of models. I tried with all versions of Gemini and GPT Image but it didn’t generate anything. I’ve recorded a screenvideo to show how it happens. The generation proces starts and in the end it doesn’t make anything, none of new fills in a square/ rectangle and none error windows. What can be a problem and how can I fix it? I work in the desktop app and already cleared the cache, it didn’t solve the problem.

Hi,We’ve added videos for a presentation. But all the videos are cutting short and playing 3 seconds instead of the added file (different lengths)The added videofiles are in .mov. We also tried mp4. But no go.Should’nt there be at least a Duration tab in the right hand toolbar?

I find opening Figma links in the app to be extremely tedious; either I have to let the browser open a useless tab before redirecting to the app, or I have to go to the app and find the action manually in the toolbar (WHY is it not accessible via the command palette??). I have tried setting a custom shortcut via my MacOS settings, but it does not work.The only other solution I can think of is by using Raycast Quicklinks to open a selected URL using the Figma app, but this isn’t working either. I’m going insane, has anybody figured out how to deal with this?
