Plugin pending review for 17+ days – is this normal?

Hi! :)

 

I submitted my Figma plugin Tokenry about 17 days ago, and it’s still in review. Just wanted to check if this is expected, or if there might be something wrong on my end.

It’s a design token generator that helps create variables, semantic tokens, and dev-ready structures in Figma.

 

I haven’t received any feedback or requests for changes so far, so I’m a bit unsure if:

 

  • it’s just a long queue

  • or if something might be blocking the review

 

Has anyone experienced similar wait times recently?

 

And is there anything I should do (or check) while waiting?

 

Really appreciate any insight 🙏

Same situation here, been waiting for 15+ days for my plugin review.

So I guess we’re not alone in this, figma team seems to take more than usual to review.

Your plugin is still in the review queue, and timelines can vary quite a bit depending on submission volume and the team’s capacity at the time. That said, I’ve flagged your submission internally and shared your follow-up here so it’s on the team’s radar. 

If anything comes up during the review, they’ll reach out directly via the email linked to your Figma account. No news usually just means it’s still in progress.

The team’s currently dealing with a pretty high volume of submissions, which is slowing things down more than usual. 

At the moment, they’re not able to share an exact timeline or queue position, but they’ll reach out as soon as your plugin has been reviewed, whether that’s approval or feedback.

@Gayani_S would love on update as well, we’re around a month for ours. An update would be very helpful to those that are in the queue.

I can see that your plugin is also still in the review queue. The team is actively working through submissions, but we’re currently experiencing a particularly high volume, which is causing delays longer than we’d like. I don’t have a specific timeframe to share right now, please know that reviews are ongoing and your submission hasn’t been overlooked. 

I’ll also make sure to pass this feedback along internally, as we know clearer updates would really help while you’re waiting.

We submitted our plugin "Email HTML Generator" for review on the Figma Community on 30th March 2026. It still shows "In review" status, and we have not received any email regarding acceptance, rejection, or a request for additional information.

Any update on the status or next steps would be greatly appreciated.

The same issue applies to my plugin Offline Figma Converter for Unity — it has been under review for 10 days.

I’ve checked on this, and I can confirm that both of your plugins are still in the review queue. Our team is actively reviewing submissions, but we’re currently seeing a higher volume, which is slowing things down more than expected.

That said, your submissions are in line and haven’t been missed. They’ll be reviewed as the team works through the queue. We really appreciate your patience while we get to them.

@Gayani_S I work with Michael Judd. While we’re waiting, what steps can we take to minimize back and forth and ensure our place in the queue isn’t reset if we have to make a change? We have clients expecting this integration soon and the review time may cost us some business.

There’s nothing you need to do on your end. The team reached out as soon as the review is completed, whether that’s an approval or any feedback.
