Hello,I submitted the Google form with my school information at the beginning of the month, and sent an email last week, but did not get a response from anyone yet. Is it possible to get an update?

I have an object with multiple fills, one of them being a gradient. When editing a gradient this way, I don’t have access to the gradient’s handles.

I’m trying to improve our workflow for handing off new and updated design system components to developers. When a new component is “ready for dev,” is it better to: Share a separate design file or Figma branch for developers to build from, or Merge/publish it into the main component library/design system first, then share?In our case, once designs are shared, it can sometimes take 3-6 months or more before developers actually pick them up. Because of that delay, it becomes hard to tell:Which components are truly “ready to use” vs still conceptual (waiting to be built) Which ones are already built vs just designedThis creates confusion around the source of truth and readiness. Hi everyone, I need help with an unexpected charge on my account.I cancelled my Figma subscription and stopped using the platform entirely around October last year. For the past 4 months, there were no charges, which was correct since I had already switched all my teams to the Starter (Free) plan.However, I was suddenly charged $17.26 USD today (Jan 7, 2026). How is this even possible? I haven't received a bill in 4 months and haven't touched Figma at all. My current dashboard confirms that all my existing teams are Free.It feels very wrong to be billed for no use at all.I feel cheated. How do I get a refund?

Hello. I am on the starter plan which I believe should be free, but my card is still being charged $2.12 per month. Please help! 

Hi Figma community,I'm having a some issue with vector illustrations in Figma. Problem 1: Paint Bucket + Eyedropper OverrideI draw a vector with the pen tool, ensuring closed paths for isolated regions (no gaps). In edit mode (double-click vector), I use Shift + B (paint bucket) to highlight and click a specific region it adds a default grey fill correctly to just that area (sidebar shows single swatch). When I try to change the color using the eyedropper (press I or click icon in color menu), the highlighted region automatically deselects upon activating the eyedropper. Sampling any color then applies it to the entire vector object instead of the selected region. Adjusting via the color spectrum slider works fine without override. This only happens with the eyedropper sample; manual hex/spectrum is okay. Tried: Clearing all fills first, resetting cache, separating regions to new layers, shortcuts to avoid clicking icon, still deselects and overrides.     Problem 2: Pen Tool Won't Move

I’ve created a website (for my thesis’s experiment), and it’s almost perfect. But I want to adjust something that would be done very easily manually. I’ve tried turning the Figma Make to Figma Design, but all the buttons are gone, and it became a static page with no interaction. How can I edit within Figma Make? I want to change the picture and some wording, and I don’t need AI for this. 

While building a website, I ran into an issue with icon rendering that took a while to pinpoint. Initially, icons using stroke colors rendered correctly. However, icons that were filled did not render at all. For example, taking the same icon, flattening it, and applying a fill would cause it to disappear. After investigating further, I found that the issue was not the icon itself, but the parent frame (wrapper) containing the icon. This happens regardless of whether the frame uses Auto Layout or not. The problem occurs when the parent frame has a color applied via predefined color styles / variables. If a color style (variable) is applied to the frame, any filled icon inside it fails to render properly. Removing the color style from the parent frame resolves the issue. Fill as hash value of color - all good Fill as variable style color - wont renderStroke using variable style color - all good 

Can Figma Make use the custom fonts available to my organization and team?

Hi everyone,I’m looking for some UX feedback on a small tool I’m designing and wanted to get opinions from the community.The screenshot attached is my current Figma design. It’s a very minimal interface for an invisible text generator. On desktop, the design has a heading + text on the left column, but I’m not sure if this approach makes sense for mobile.My goal with design was to make sure the tool is the first thing the user sees when he opens the website either on their phone or on a desktop. A few things I’m unsure about: On mobile, should this stay as a card layout, or should it take the full screen / hero section? (Which it currently does) Would a full-width layout work on a desktop.  I also considered a neo-brutalism style at first, but the clean and minimal version felt more usable. Hi :)I want to recreate this blur gradient bottom navigation from spotify, but when I use bg blur and the gradient together it kind of looks off when I compare it drectly to spotify. The gradient has this hard cut because I moved it up a bit. But when I move it down more the content behind is too visible again.  Any Ideas how to fix it?

Hey everyone,I’m really surprised this issue still exists after all these years. We’re paying for Figma and using it professionally, but the problem has been there for almost 2 years now!Whenever I change the color of a swapped instance in the main component, the color doesn’t update in the other instances.For example, when I swap an icon instance inside a component, it doesn’t inherit the color of the original icon that was in the main component — I have to manually change each color one by one, which is really time-consuming.I’ve uploaded my Figma file so you can take a look and see what I mean.Please fix this — it’s been a long time and it really affects our workflow.Thank you.

there is difference in “layer blur “value in dev mode (4px  in design mode and 2px in dev mode)and design mode.

I have a problem with my office’s figma annually-billed plan which said that it’s overdue. It should be paid before February 6, 2026. But if i read the invoice, we should pay monthly rather than annually. How can we solve this? Should we renew the plan by paying for a year or we pay only this month?

I cancelled my professional plan on Feb 2nd, it says i’m on the free plan.  Today i was charged $7.91 CAD for the period between Jan 6 & Feb 6.  Can you please explain what’s going on here?    

I hope I can get help resolving this. I mostly migrated what I needed from an old work account assuming that it would get deleted. It looks like I forgot to migrate one slides deck. I believe it still exists but was never able to set up the permissions correctly. You should be able to access it with the link and password, but every viewer needs to request access.Can I get help accessing the file? I have the link and password. Or at least confirmation that it still exists,

All of a sudden Claude stopped producing, so I switched to Gemini Pro and it behaved in the same way and just started making it’s own changes. I tried to go back to the checkpoints and that's not working either. This is getting a bit scary! 

Hey everyoneWe’re encountering an issue in Figma where components inside a branch are only partially visible. Certain variants or sub-parts appear to be missing, while others render correctly. The same components display normally in the main file. Components appear incomplete in the branch (see attached images). Some states/variants are not visible and appear as empty frames. For some components only part of the content is missing This affects multiple variants within the same component set. The issue does not occur in the main file; only in the branch.   What we’ve checked / tried Verified that all libraries are enabled and up to date. Confirmed no missing fonts or broken image fills. Checked visibility, opacity, and blend modes. Components are still technically “there” (selectable), but visually absent. Is this a known issue with branches + component variants? Is there anything we can do to solve this without having to rebuild the whole branch? Also are there any known

I am trying to change the email that I use to log into my account. When I go to the admin panel and input the new one and the password, I get a message saying that I should get a verification email soon. Unfortunately, I am not getting that email to verify my email after trying several times. Anyone can help with this? The process seems to be working well and it looks like is something in the backend.I have no emails in spam or trash.

Hi! I created a Community profile today. When I try to change my handle to something shorter than 15 characters, I sometimes still get an error saying the handle is too long. Is there a known delay/caching issue, or recommended steps to ensure the new handle saves correctly? Thanks!

Hi all — looking for clarity on Figma file URL behavior when moving files between workspaces.Scenario: I am the owner of a Figma design file. The file currently lives in a workspace where I am not a member (I have direct access to the file). I want to move the file into another workspace where I am an admin. I am moving the file, not duplicating it. The file is linked from external tools (e.g., Asana) using frame-level links (node-id). Question:When moving a file to a different workspace: Does the file’s canonical URL / file key change? Do existing frame-level links (node-id links) continue to work? Is link breakage only expected if frames are deleted/recreated or the file is duplicated? I’ve tested this with a sample file and observed that the file key and node-id remain the same, but I’ve seen conflicting guidance about whether moving a file across workspaces creates a “new URL.”Would appreciate confirmation from anyone who’s done this in production or has insight into ho

Hi I use Figma education, however it rejected my first attempt to verify so therefore I reached out to sheerID. I got manually approved and it never updated on the Figma website… I even got a manual approval code but it won’t let me do anything. I emailed the education team to Figma multiple times and have not gotten a response so I went back to SheerID and the only response I seem to get is “contact Figma” in which I cannot get ahold of… I need help, my class I take in school is purely just Figma based and I truly need access to do anything in the class. Please help!!!
