Hi there, during a project I often reorganize pages and frames. Is there a way to move a comment to a different page? Or to have it follow along as I cut and paste that screen to a different page? Thanks

Put some regular horizontal text in a landscape auto layout frame. Let the frame be fixed dimensions. Let the text be W Fill and H Hug so it wraps responsively as the frame.Now create another fixed auto layout frame, but this time portrait. Copy the landscape text and paste it into the new portrait frame. Rotate the text 90 degrees.Now I dare you to try to get the text to behave responsively like it did before… filling out its “width” and hugging its “height”I have not been able to find any combination of settings or incantations to get this to work so I’m calling this a bug. Please either fix this or point out my lack of imagination by telling me how to accomplish this.

I am working on setting up a design library structure that needs to support three teams, each team is working with 4 brands. We’re currently on an Organization license.As two of the three teams are using MUI we’re going for a setup where we have a main library that is using MUI as a foundation, meaning it is using copies of MUIs components and their conventions for collections and variables.To support the third team we have decided that each team will have their own complementary library as an extension to the main one, so that they are free to create local variables/tokens that suits their needs. This may lead to some level of maintenance that is still to be explored.However, I tried it out and am stuck hoping that someone here knows what I am doing wrong. Here’s how I did it:I started with setting up the main file which is basically a copy of a MUI Figma UI kit, to which I copied 80% of the UI kit. I’m trying to bind a variable to a layer. All the videos/tutorials explaining how to do this (including Figma’s own tutorials) feature a “Layer” panel in the right-side menu (NOT the big “LayerS” panel on the left side). For example, here’s an image from Figma’s tutorials: https://help.figma.com/hc/article_attachments/15253641613335. Note the “Layer” panel in the right menu between “Design” and “Fill” which allows you to bind a variable to a layer. Where the heck is that menu?? I have no such menu. I have a full Professional license. No features should be hidden. Any ideas? PS. When a frame's height exceeds the visible screen area, its gradient background fill doesn't render correctly across the entire defined height of the frame specifically in the Prototype "Present" mode. In the Figma editor canvas, the gradient usually appears correct. However, when previewing, the gradient seems clipped or scaled as if only applied to the initially visible portion of the frame.Expected behavior (Present Mode): The gradient should render smoothly across the full defined height of the frame, matching the editor view, irrespective of the viewport size during presentation.Actual behavior (Present Mode): The gradient rendering is constrained or incorrectly scaled, seemingly limited by the viewport height, and doesn't cover the entire frame as defined and seen in the editor.Is anyone else experiencing this?Here’s an example: 

I Don't know if there's anyone facing this problem..plz somebody help me to rid of this. When i do a prototype and preview it on devices it always cut off the frame on the screen. Here are some pictures that shows the problem. Plz somebody help to fix this.

I’m new here on the forum and I’m dealing with a Figma issue I haven’t been able to solve.When I hit "Play" to preview navigation between multiple screens, Figma only shows a basic screen-to-screen transition — completely ignoring the animations already configured inside my components. I’m not sure if this is a mistake on my part or something I changed by accident.When I create an animated component, it works perfectly. And when I test transitions between multiple animated components, they behave as expected. But once I place those components inside the main frame — for example, simulating a website with slide-style pages — the animations stop working. Hi Figma community,I’m encountering a recurring issue when exporting presentations from Figma, and I’d appreciate any help or insights: When I try to export slides — whether individually or as a full presentation — some slides export just fine, but others come out completely blank, with no visible content. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:• Exporting in different formats (PNG, PDF, etc.)• Checking for hidden or locked layers• Moving the content into a new frame• Reviewing any effects, masks, or layer blending that might interfere Despite all of that, the problem persists with the same specific slides. Has anyone run into this before or knows what might be causing it?Could it be a bug? Hi all, This has been driving me crazy and I feel like with the new update it has further just muddled my opinion. I’m working within a multi brand design system. One component library, multiple brands with different colours and fonts. (I have thoughts about that but alas I am a lowly designer and not high enough to create change) Brand switching also became a little easier with variables and tokens, however there is a limit to 4 brands before you need to upgrade your Figma plan which we can’t do. Since we have more than 4 brands (and type variables are still quite new), what is the best way to do this? We’ve been doing it two ways, either: Create atoms, organism. Use a variant called brand and switch in the main organism Create atoms, and variants within the atoms. Create organism, create brand variant in organism. I searched the forum and I couldn’t find any posts reporting this – I just started getting these prompts to “review these resources” emails from Figma. The problem is that they don’t seem to be rendering colors correctly for Dark Mode so I can’t read the texts for the resource names, see screenshot: The light mode version shows the file names as expected. While browsing through UI Kits available in figma such as iOS 18 / Material Design and so on, I came across an examples tab which, when dragged onto the screen, does not present an instance of component but an editable screen. Can someone tell me whether we can achieve this effect outside of UI Kit, i.e. in our own library, or is this a function available only in UI Kits?

Hi, I am having issues using interactions on instances of components with their own interactions. Two concrete cases:Case 1:I have a button component with on-hover interaction. I create an instance of this button into a form step and make this form step a component. I add an on click interaction (or mouse up) that is going to set a variable, when the button is clicked I add an instance of the form. I can still see the on-clik interction for setting the variable. I add a second on-clik (or mouse up) interaction to change to a new frame, as I want it to smart animate between the two frames. The on-hover from the button component works as intended tough.Expected outcome is that clicking on the button now will both set the variable and change frame. However, it dosen’t work. Depending on what combo of on-click and mouse up interaction I use, the instance interaction overwrites the component, and it only do the frame change or nothing works.Case 2:I have a toggle component with on-hover an

I'm developing a Figma plugin that syncs library variables to local variables. I've noticed that when I call figma.teamLibrary.getAvailableLibraryVariableCollectionsAsync() multiple times, it seems to return cached results rather than fetching fresh data from the library.This is causing issues when I update variables in the library and then try to sync them again - my plugin doesn't see the updated variables because it's getting cached data.Example scenario:I run my plugin and sync variables from a library I update variables in the library I run my plugin again, but it doesn't see the updated variablesQuestions:Is there a way to force getAvailableLibraryVariableCollectionsAsync() to bypass the cache and get fresh data? When I change the theme color using the Material Theme Builder in the Material Design System 3 file, I can no longer switch modes to dark.

Is there a way to select multiple groups, and frame it into individual frames, rather than clicking one group and framing it one by one so that it is framed separately? I thought I could do it by selecting all and hitting Frame Selection (Ctrl+Alt+G), but I guess that groups it all together in ONE frame

After List View was restored (last week) it lost its capability to retain the user’s sorting preference:Before: I set it order by “Alphabetical” and would retain the sorting preference.Now: It resets to default by “Last modified” every time I reload the page.

I used the sRGB profile, but it still displayed as display p3.I hope to resolve the following problems:1. CSS does not display the color display p3 in Figma dev mode2.
