I’m unable to update the website.

I keep getting the following message: “Couldn’t connect, check your internet and try again”

Hi @rfmcneil ,

I understand you're seeing a "Couldn't connect, check your internet and try again" error in the AI chat of your Figma Make project.

This usually means the AI request is being blocked by network settings, even if your general internet connection is working fine.

To cover the basics, could you please try the following?

  1. In your Figma Make file, click the ? icon in the bottom right corner to open Help and resources
  2. Select "Check network settings"
    • If your network is fine, you'll see: "Your network has access to the domains needed to run Figma"
    • If there's an issue, please refer to this guide to adjust your settings: Adjust your network settings
  3. Once you've confirmed your network settings are correct, wait a moment and try again

If the issue persists, please submit a bug report so our team can take a closer look:

  1. Go to the Support Hub
  2. Type "Report a bug" and click Start a chat
  3. In the form, please include:
    • The direct URL to your Figma Make file with view access granted to support-share@figma.com (this won't affect your billing)
    • A screenshot or screen recording of the issue
    • What you see from the Check network settings

This information will help our team investigate this issue more effectively.

Thanks!

I have checked the Check network settings and all is correct.

I am still having issues with the site.

A Facebook Token Error message is showing for users even though i have updated the token.

Hi @rfmcneil, thanks for following up!

I checked on our end but wasn't able to find a bug report from you based on the request in my previous comment.

I've gone ahead and created a support ticket(#1902058) on your behalf with the information you've provided here, so our team can investigate further.

Once you receive the ticket confirmation email, please reply with:

  • The direct URL to your Figma Make file with Can view access granted to support-share@figma.com (this won't affect your billing)

Someone from our team will contact you directly via the ticket email to assist you further.

Thanks!
