Sometimes when a flow diagram is getting very complex, the right angles of the default arrow type become distracting to manage. It would be beneficial for me to be able to set the default arrow/edge/connector type to be a straight line instead, so that as I am creating the diagram I can be less worried about the placement of nodes and edges while I am creating the content. There doesn’t seem a way to set defaults, but it would be super valuable. I use the password manager provided to me by my company. Keeper. This is common tool i think. However figma login page does not recognize this manager and does not fill the password from the passord manager. I think this is related to the field name of the password. Somehow Keep does not regcognise this.  Really annoying 

I recently started my Figma journey and learnt about vertical scrolling. I managed to get it to work to scroll down, as in swiping upwards, there will be more information below replacing the information at the top. However, I had an idea that needed the user to be able to scroll up, as in there’s more information above, and said information will replace the information that will be pushed down and out of the screen.  I tried to do it, but the frame didn’t cover the top section of my information, and merely pushed it out of the main frame, so I was wondering if it’s possible or I’m just wasting my time trying. Thanks for the help in advance.

Hi, i just wondering. How it is Possible to use Click to Navigate to other frame and wrap it all to just One Frame that showing on Prototype and then When you click it will change the content only. Maybe this Wireframe Flow can help my question. Please kindly check the Picture. Frame “PROTOTYPE” = is the Final the Design that i wanted, the other Frame “FRAME 1, FRAME 2, FRAME 3” that is the Frame that i want to wrap into 1 Frame. But they all navigate into each others.Thanks for any reply!

I downloaded the Mac desktop app and tried to launch Figma,but nothing happened. It just wouldn't open at all.Figma bounces in the dock for a while, then just stops and nothing happens.So I deleted it and reinstalled it, but the same thing happened.I even cleared the caches, but it still doesn't work.What can I do to get Figma to run on my MacBook?

When I want to create a new file in my project the dropdown keeps flickering. I can’t create a new file 

If I go to People and select `New charges since last invoice` it is empty despite owing on this true up. When viewing the people I have no way to determine when they were added. Upgrade reason date appears to be inaccurate as you can click the user’s name to get a window to fly out from the right hand side allowing you to see who migrated the user and when. This information does not match the upgrade information. As a result the `New charges since last invoice` doesn’t quite work as expected. Can you please surface the migrated by and migrated date into the table or update the updated status with that information when they’re upgraded?Thank you,WMD

I am making a dropdown in a website. In my imagination, if user are not sign in, if any action related to account, it will triggering a login notification from within an overlay.but if i apply this interaction, after i click “View Profile”, the notification pop-up and close both overlay (shopping bag overlay and notification overlay). Is there any better ways to perform this effect?  

Before the new UI (which I hate by the way), you could simply click into the width or height boxes and type in the width you wanted it to be. Now it seems the only way is to manually resize each box and then keep it at fixed width? When I click into the box, it just opens the options again. Am I going crazy? How do you manually change this sizing? I just want to be able to type in 176 or whatever!  

One of the most frequent things I do is select multiple layers, and create a component set. It used to be easy as there was an easily accessible menu in the toolbar at the top.But now in the new UI, I can’t find it. I’d expect it to be in that floating toolbar at the bottom (which I don’t like there btw, but that’s a separate issue) but it’s not there. I right-clicked hoping to see it as a context menu but it’s not there. It’s not even in the main menu on top left.Anyone know? 

Basic functionaly is getting flustratinly hard to get in resent software updates.

My old interface in Figma disappeared. I was always using the old UI, but now for some reason it automatically switched to UI3, and I can’t click the ‘Go back to old UI’ button — I just don’t have that button. What should I do? My account is old, so I don’t think the issue is with the account

Hi, I believe I’ve exhausted all the existing help articles on this. I’m having a hard time with something that should be very basic. I have 25 or so screens, the ONLY interaction between them is that the user should be able to click and/or press the arrow key to navigate LINEARLY between them. Sometimes it works (especially if I go slowly, it works every time). But sometimes it doesn’t, sometimes it inexplicably jumps through sections (pretty much only happens if I press the arrow keys quickly). It appears that if I click through it goes linearly every time without skipping screens. So the problem is only with the arrow keys (which I can’t disable so I need to understand the behavior before handing off to my client). I’ve adjusted all the artboards. The desired order is Row 1 Left to Right, Row 2 Left to Right (as described in the documentation). All rows have the exact same Y coordinate. All columns have the exact same X coordinate. I’m trying to add corner radius to the text box. I added auto layout but by somehow I cant manage to find the Corner Radius.

I made a variant where you can toggle on and off a checkmark. The component has auto alignment so that the text and the checkmark are spaced apart, but when I hide the checkmark, the text centers. Is there any way to keep my text right aligned when I toggle off the checkmark?  Thanks for the help! My components:

Hello,We signed up for a one-year "Design Seat" (Professional Plan) subscription on September 27, 2024. We now want to upgrade to the Organization Plan with a "Full Seat" to access some features we need.During the upgrade process, we noticed that the 12-month charge reflects the full cost of the new Organization Plan, not including the import fee we've already paid for 12 months since September for the current Professional Plan (Still 5 months already paid). Is it possible to reduce the upgrade fee? We'd rather not lose the value of our current subscription just by upgrading to a higher-tier plan, and we can't wait until September to finalize our current annual subscription.PS: We tried to communicate with support and sales 6 days ago and still no response at all to escalate our requirement.

I am encountering a bug where the nested animation inside a component stops in the middle when variant state is changed using variables. Can anyone from Figma team help? Steps to reproduce: Step1: Lets say a component named X has 3 variants(named alpha, beta and gamma) out of which one variant(alpha) has an animation (animated using a nested component named Y). Step 2: A local string variable(StringVar) is created and the value is set to one of the component X’s variant names eg:‘alpha’. Step 3: Drag a child component of component X onto canvas and link the state to the local string variable created above. Step 4: Create two buttons labeled betaBTN and gammaBTN with mouseenter and mouseleave interactions. So on mouseenter, the local variable StringVar is set to variant names (beta or gamma) based on the buttons(betaBTN or gammaBTN) the mouse is moved over. This works well so far. The issue is with the mouseleave trigger which is set to the animated variant (alpha) so when mouse is outs

Hello,I’m part of my company’s IT team. We have Figma setup in our Okta instance with SCIM provisioning.We followed the steps in https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/22773906477591-Manage-seats-via-SCIM-using-Okta and made Okta user groups that each are assigned the unique user type laid out. However, any new Figma user that is provisioned to Figma is added to the org as a Viewer. Why is this happening?   

I accidentally added additional seats. Looking at the billing, it looks like an additional amount has been incurred next month. How can I cancel additional seats.?
