Concern Regarding Change from Monthly AI Credits to Daily Limit

I subscribed to Figma and paid $20 expecting monthly AI credits, as advertised. Recently, I discovered that Figma has changed this system to a daily limit instead, which significantly reduces the value of what I paid for. This change was not clearly communicated, and it feels unfair to existing subscribers who signed up under different terms. Has anyone else experienced this, and how is Figma addressing it?

I can appreciate your confusion around this and how you feel that it’s unfair. While I can’t speak to what you saw when you subscribed, we haven’t actually instituted any new daily limits for certain plans, and this daily limit is in addition to the monthly limit. It’s also only applicable to Starter plans and View seats. In other words, for folks with the Starter plan or with only a View seat on a team, they have a 150 credit limit per day as well as their monthly limit, with each resetting each day and month, respectively. To see the actual number of credits by Seat type and plan, see the Seat credits section of our Manage AI Credits help article (this article also mentions the daily limit). 

 

Where did you see credit limit information that did not include information about the daily limit for Starter? I checked the pricing page and it included that information:
