I recently purchased the Figma Collab plan, not realizing that it would not allow me to edit my own project without also purchasing a Full Seat. When I tried to edit my file, I was prompted to upgrade to a Full Seat. I initially assumed this was related to admin permissions since I am the file owner. However, after clicking “Get a Full Seat,” an invoice for $156.00 was generated, scheduled to be billed on April 4.I did not intend to subscribe to this plan, as it is beyond my budget. That is the reason I chose the $5.00 Collab plan.Could you please assist me in canceling the upcoming $156.00 charge and advise on how I can request a refund for the recently purchased annual Collab plan?
Has the translation function been restricted? There is a word limit now, which has greatly reduced the efficiency of my multilingual project work.
Hello,I paid USD 20 on February 5 for the Figma subscription. However, I canceled the paid plan on March 3.Despite canceling the subscription before the renewal date, I was charged USD 30 on March 5.Could you please check this issue and process a refund as soon as possible?Thank you.
I’m trying to understand how to help my designers produce Figma Make files that use our design system components and standards. If we were to enable Figma MCP server for my org, would that allow designers to constrain Figma Make to only use our design system?Or would we need to use an npm package or Make Kits for that?
Hi everyone,I'm trying to implement a tab-based navigation layout in Figma Sites below my hero section. I created the tabs in Design Library with component variants for active states and enabled them in my Figma Sites, but I'm struggling to make each tab link to and display its specific content section.Currently, the variants change visually, but they don't dynamically switch the corresponding content for each tab. What is the best way to implement a working tab structure in Figma Sites so that each tab loads its respective content when clicked? Is there a recommended approach using anchors, components, or another workaround?Would appreciate any guidance from anyone who has implemented tabs successfully in Figma Sites. Thanks!
I have never met a Figma branch conflict that I could resolve 😥 Not one.I’ve read all of the relevant help center articles (including this potentially outdated one that focuses on conflicts) and I’ve watched video tutorials, but none of them provide enough information. I understand what conflicts are and why they need to be resolved, I’ve done it in other programs, but I can’t figure out Figma’s particular UI for this process.I need help understanding this window: Is anyone aware of... anything anywhere that explains this window in any amount of depth?Has this UI been updated since the Help center articles were written?I could try to list all my questions in this forum post but I have a lot, and there might be stuff I dont know that I dont know. I need this window explained to me like I’m 5 😭🙏 Something HAS to exist somewhere out there, right?
If the team owner is no longer employed and the associated company email address has been permanently deactivated, what documentation would Figma Support require to authorize an ownership reassignment?
We have a Figma Professional workspace where the team owner is no longer with the company (for about 8 months now) The associated @company email address has been permanently deactivated and cannot be reactivated by IT.We still have admin access and active billing, but we cannot reset the owner password because the email no longer exist. We’ve already reached out to Figma Support for assistance. Their recommendation was to upgrade to the Organization or Enterprise plan, but we cannot initiate an upgrade because the account is effectively orphaned under the former owner’s email. That also rules out transferring the studio to a new account (which is not ideal). Given this situation, what is the recommended path to reassign ownership when the owner email is permanently inaccessible? For context:workspace contains 100+ projects 5 year design system canceling and rebuilding would be extremely disruptive.Has anyone successfully resolved a similar edge case?
Forums (#42331) say that Figma updates Google Fonts every 3 months, but I doubt that’s true entirely. Funnel Display font was added to Google Fonts back in October 2024 (github#8201), yet it’s still unavailable. The problem is that I’m on Linux, and the team has no plans to release a Linux version of Figma or even a Font Helper for Linux. At the very least, the team should update the Google Fonts database properly. If the team is manually hand-picking fonts or relying on a sort=popularity parameter limited to the top 1,500 API results, I strongly recommend against this approach. Popularity is not a definitive proxy for quality or demand. A good example is a newly published font like Google Sans, it likely won't appear in a "top 1,500" popularity api response simply because it hasn't had time to trend, despite its actual demand.
I currently have a team that is on the Education plan, but I would like to downgrade it to the Basic (free) plan.I checked the team settings and billing section, but I am unable to find any option to remove or leave the Education plan. My goal is to keep the team and its files, just without the Education status.
So I had a Site already made (I’m the owner) and then I upgraded to an Education plan courtesy of my college. Suddenly I lost access to the editing features of the site? The Site had already been shared with my group members and they can’t edit either.I checked, and I’m still the owner of the file and all of my group members have “can edit” by their name. However, all of us have exclaimation marks by our names with the popup “An admin needs to update your seat so you can edit”. Am I not automatically an admin as an owner? I went into the admin settings on my project and there’s no way for me to grant myself edit access either. Frankly, this is ridiculous and poor design on Figma’s part.
i need to someone help me do it
Several projects in my account have disappeared. I've checked the Trash but can't find them. I'm sure I'm the owner and they weren't in any previous Drafts. Now that they're gone, is there any way the system can recover them for me? [image redacted by forum moderator to remove PII]
Font names containing accented characters do not preview correctly
The error message above prompt says : Files that are too largelarge files break figma make but i have deleted some of those files and it still stock on same message
Hi everyone,Does any of you also encounters bugs regarding contraints and auto-layout? Here’s a video showing what I encounter in many of my files. This occurs in components, but also non-components frames. When making a change that results in resizing the parent frame (eg change padding, text, etc.), the parent properly resize, but some embedded frames does not. Their fill or constraint properties being ignored. When I manually resize the parent frame, the embedded problematic frame realign properly again.I then need to hit CMD-Z or reset the parent to Hug to have the expected outcome, but this does not solve the issue. If I make a change again, the problematic frame still not resize properly.
A bunch of users started getting the error: We can't open this file because we're having trouble with WebGL. Please try restarting the desktop app We are using Win11 25H2. We have updated the graphics card drivers. Confirmed WebGL is working. Please can you help with this.
On iOS 26, Safari's new floating top and bottom navigation bars sample the page background color. On sites published via Figma Make to figma.site, both bars appear solid black regardless of any CSS or meta tag overrides applied in the Make editor. Setting background-color: transparent on html/body and adding <meta name="theme-color" content="transparent"> in index.html has no effect. This appears to be caused by Figma's hosting runtime overriding or wrapping the document in a way that prevents these properties from reaching Safari. Affected site: season.figma.siteany suggestions on how to solve this? I’m a designer and vibe coder, not a programmer, so I need a solution within the figma make environment. i’ve tried everything with no result.
Hello, I’m an EU citizen and my yearly plan was renewed on 27th feb. As an EU citizen I have the right to cancel it within a 14 days period. I requested cancellation and reimbursement using the support form but I was informed that reimbursements are not possible. This contradicts the EU law, so please help me solve this amicably. When pasting a design from Figma to Figjam the variable mode its in is not recognised. For instance if a design is set to Dark mode. Figjam renders it in the default pallet of light mode. This becomes more problematic if you are using variables to dictate things such as size or platform. Current solution is to past in as PNG but that feel like its a waisted function of having the white board native in the platform, you loose any editing of the screen in Figjam.
Hi,The Share button is innactive. When I copy the link and send to difirent person - file not open
The paragraph spacing is not working again, as long as the list spacing.
Hi, I am trying to link a card to a specific section in another page. Is that possible in Figma or is it a limitation?
I have a prototype, interaction is:From main screen tap on icon > icon opens up an overlay which has a carousel (4 in the set), you can move left/right between the carousel, and there’s a ‘got it’ CTA on each one for closing. It’s all working fine, apart from if you tap outside of one of the interactions (ie. you hit the background of the modal, not the arrows or CTA), in which case, the overlay reverts to the first in the sequence, the width expands to fit the entire screen, and the ‘got it’ CTA no longer closes the overlay. You can run through the carousel again, but you can’t actually close it anymore.I have checked EVERYTHING I thought this could be, and nothing seems to be leading to this issue.
Hey Community. It’s my first question here, so lmk if this is the right approach/format.Here’s my use case:I have two icon component sets consisting of two sizes each I want to use the icons in a button component The icon instance inside the button component is exposed as nested instance I change the icon instance inside the button from checkmark to xClose When changing the button size, it resets the icon instance to the defaultI can’t set the icon instance inside the button as instance swap property either, because I’d have to do it for both icon sizes in both component variants, and then it still doesn’t persist when changing the size of the button component. Any clue if and how this can work inside Figma? I know simply scaling the icon would solve this, but I have an icon set including the right sizes as variants which I want to utilize. Thanks!
