I have never been so angry at the company in my life. I paid for Full proffesional seat the previous month. Even though I cancelled it, money was withdrawn from my bank account. $15!!! As I contacted support, they answered me with something like “make sure that this is the correct email address”. So I did and texted them back. It’s been 5 days since I texted them, I never got an aswer!!! And today they dare to send me smth like “how did we do?” form, I am SO annoyed with them. How can the company be so disorganised and arrogant? Never in my life will I pay a cent for Figma anymore. Please tell me how to get an answer from them!!

I'm having trouble accessing the Figma AI features even after upgrading my plan—nothing seems to appear or activate.

Self explanatory title. I am currently working on a spec-sheet (non-figma based) and need to share the anatomy of the design library component. when showcasing color styles it often showcase the entire pagination, without explicitly showing the last item in the pagination, which to be honest is the most important one??. Is there a way to remove/tweak this? 

Whenever I change the color and press esc key, the element still stays highlighted! It annoying to press outside the element with mouse. Do let me know can I fix it. Every time I press the ESC key to leave element, it still remains selected! 🤷🏻

I’m sending you this ticket because since the last update of Figma, I can’t use the desktop application on my macOS with Mojave operating system, and I don’t want to update it to the next version. Since I’ve been paying my subscription for years, I believe I have the right to have a desktop version of Figma that I can use from my work computer. Please, I’m looking forward to your response to provide me with a solution. Thanks a lot

I’m currently working on a project and noticed the dots on the is looked off, zooming in I noticed this was also happening on my periods and bullet points.(Font used is Monserrat, a default Google font) I tried to swap to a different font but noticed the issue seemed to persist So, I figured maybe the issue would be resolved if I exported the file? So I tried exporting it as PDF and… it was even worse. Any clues on what’s causing this and how to fix it?

I’m not sure what the feature is but i’ve attached an image. Our developer said they enabled it in Dev Mode (not as a plugin) and now the lines show both in and out of dev mode all over the designed screen. It does not let me select and delete them, only drag them around. Please helpEdit: - Deleting the Frame gets rid of them- Copy / Pasting the frame brings them back trying to avoid having to recreate all the frames it sits on top of. They don’t show up in the layers of the frame.

Explore community tab automatically closed when we leave that tab. Any solution for that?

As of now, I encountered a problem with touchpad behavior on my laptop. The overall problem is that when I try to move with two-finger scroll, it only locks to horizontal or vertical scroll.. but when you try to do a circular movement or diagonal, it doesn’t work.. it only works if you start doing the diagonal/circular movement from the start. So the overall problem is that movement with trackpad is segmented and it’s not fluid like other systems. This problem is not present in MacOS or Linux versions and I also tried multiple touchpad-s that I have and they all have the same problem.

Hi all, I am building a plugin and having trouble rendering an HTML.Currently, I am trying to take a string html, render it to an image and take a screenshot of that image to display on Figma. I’ve tried it with a screenshot, base64, uint8array, but have found no success so far.My current process looks like this:Input: HTML string Server-side Processing: The HTML string is sent to server endpoint The HTML is rendered using puppeteer The screenshot is converted to either base64 string, png, or uint8array (Tried all three) The the image data is received in Figma A new image is created in Figma using figma.createImageAsync()  I am getting errors on step 2, and the error seems to be that puppeteer is not working properly in Figma plugin’s sandboxed environment. Has anyone had any luck generating screenshots from raw HTML string? Thank you!

Hey folks, I need a little help. I’ve been working in Figma for two years and have never once gotten Smart Animate to. Y’know.Work.At all.So I need a little help. I’ve got all my layers named the same, in the same order. Is there something else I should be looking for?Each instance has its own name because, well, it has to. I did try naming them Step1, Step2, Step3 and that got me nowhere.  Inside each instance: Here are the first three to give a sense for transitionsBanner default state with full bleed image and visible navigationNavigation disappears and Image shrinks and moves left, filling half the screen. card moves into open right space, image stays in place and navigation stays hiddenIs it the nested components causing me issues? I know Figma plays nicely with nesting about… 50% of the time historically, but seemingly better lately. So that’s good! But who knows, maybe smart animate still doesn’t like it.Also, please let me know if I need to share a prototype link. I’m trying to

Looks like in UI3 Figma skipped the ability to save plugins to a separate “folder” in a menu. So I can’t use the keyboard shortcut to launch the plugin when it disappears from the “recently used” list. There used to be an option to save the plugin, but now there isn’t. Do I miss something?

In my app prototype, I’m trying to create a multi-step-flow form which consists of, say, 12 steps - from 1 to 12. I create each step on individual rectangles (grouped all the contents in each rectangle or step) and placed them on the main frame. I then hid all the steps (rectangles) except the 1st step (rectangle). I tried applying the interaction on the next and previous buttons to flow the steps from first to second and on so, and again to work out the previous button. Let me also mention you how did try to apply the interaction; I first selected the next button in the step one and then went to prototype, and clicked on the interactions. Within that I selected the Trigger to be “on tap”, action to be “navigate to”, but when I need to select the destination, it doesn’t show the rectangle related to the step 2. Therefore, I have not been able to create the interaction needed.I’m currently having the free version of figma, and I hope this is not the reason as to why I’m not able to work

Video can only be added to files in a paid Education, Professional, and Organization team. Plugins running on files in free Starter teams can edit existing video in a file but not upload video to it. I am trying to import videos to users’ file from PluginAPI. Since it can only be done to paid teams, is there a way to check this gracefully? Or is the only way to check is expecting an error from `createVideoAsync`?

Hi All, In the Figjam UI, if you double click on an arrow, you have the ability to add text to the Connector that stays attached to the Connector. Like this below.  There HAS to be a way to do this via API; we could not find any properties that sounded like it would create the arrow-embedded-text like the screenshot above. Does this feature exist?  Thank you!

I use figma to make an isometric map and I have to duplicate several images to make a background but when I see it in prototype, these black line appear bettween the images’ edges and I don’t know why. How can I fix this? Please help me, thank you all so much.The originalWhen I see it in prototype 

Hello! New to Figma.I’m working on a schedule prototype. I’d want to make it so when the user presses the + , the square will scale vertically with set incerments.So each press would make it larger with let say, 25 pixels.And of course, when pressing - the square will decrease with 25 pixels. 

How to go back to the old version of figma if there was a button "Go back to previous UI" before, but now this button is gone

My files were gone last night and I really need them. They were drafts and my account is a starter in Figma. Now when I enter the link, it shows me this and I am the creator.

I made a component in a file (let’s call it “File A”), and then at some point I think I moved the component (with cut + paste) to my component library file (“File B”). I have since deleted File A (permanently deleted in trash too), as I was only using it as a working file. Now, when I’m wanting to publish the master component from File B, I always see “Publish as copy” next to the component, along with a greyed out “Move to this file” option. The problem: File A no longer exists and this component is not a “copy” of any component. How can I get rid of this prompt? It makes me nervous, as if there’s some ghost component somewhere that I have no control over, and the “Publish as copy” language is confusing. Looking for any help. This feels like a bug - is there any fix?

Sometimes when a flow diagram is getting very complex, the right angles of the default arrow type become distracting to manage. It would be beneficial for me to be able to set the default arrow/edge/connector type to be a straight line instead, so that as I am creating the diagram I can be less worried about the placement of nodes and edges while I am creating the content. There doesn’t seem a way to set defaults, but it would be super valuable. Thanks!

I use the password manager provided to me by my company. Keeper. This is common tool i think. However figma login page does not recognize this manager and does not fill the password from the passord manager. I think this is related to the field name of the password. Somehow Keep does not regcognise this.  Really annoying
