Hello,I encountered an issue while using Figma. I am unable to access a file that I originally created. The page currently shows the message “You can’t access this resource.”This file was created by me, and I have always been the creator/owner of the project. Previously, I only invited a few collaborators to work on the file. However, I can no longer access the file, and I cannot find it in my project list.I have also checked my Drafts, but the file is not there. I’m not sure what happened.This project is very important to me and I’m quite concerned about losing access to it. I would really appreciate it if you could help check the status of the file and restore my access.

See screen shot. Getting this pop up. App and chat has been working fine. We went started on another phase of code and now this continues to pop up.

I cannot drag and drop a component into a slot, it only allows me to add from the preferred list, sometimes I may want to drag and copy components from near frames, but the slot won’t accept the component this way.

 Hi everyone,I’m trying to figure out the best way to work with some AI-generated content I created using Figma’s AI tools.What I’d like to do is export those designs into a format that I can either: print, or continue editing outside of the original AI-generated workflow I’m wondering whether anyone here has had success exporting AI-created designs into a format that works well for printing or for further editing.For example, have you found a good way to export them as: PDF SVG PNG another editable format I’d also be interested in knowing whether there are any limitations with layers, text, vectors, or editability after export.Has anyone had luck with this, or found a workflow that works well?Thanks in advance. 

I’m currently experiencing an issue when trying to verify my student account. Every time I attempt the verification process, I receive an error message and the verification cannot be completed. I also received a notification saying that if my account is not verified before March 15, I will no longer be able to use Figma Design.I have also contacted SheerID, but they informed me that they are currently unable to verify my student status at this time. This is quite concerning for me as I rely on Figma for my studies, so I would really appreciate any help in resolving this issue. 

I am reaching out to the Figma team as someone is  enrolled as a student at college. My classmates have been able to verify their student account. But I am unable to do so. And now I have come down to ‘Verification Limit Exceeded’. It’s a frustrating loop and I have even reached out to SheerID and education@figma multiple times, but the request has been turned down and failing, saying they’re unable to verify it. Please help me for the same. 

Hello everyone, I’m newish to Figma and need some help creating a template. Mu document has editable text, logos and colours of background boxes that need to be controllable from one Excel/CVS. I tried a few plugins and with the first one I was able to get the text and logos to change, but it didn’t support solids. Then I tried another plugin but this time I could only get the colours and text to change, but not the logos. Is anyone aware of one plugins that could change all those attributes from a single Excel doc? Thanks in advance! :)

For some variables clicking the button (`# component/input/field/inset` for example) will copy the resolved variable value and other times it copies the variable name. There doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason. In this screenshot “Radius” and “Padding” copy the variable name while “Min height” and “Gap” copy the value. I would prefer it copy the name so we can use the reference in our design system.

It started yesterday, March 10, 2026. My Figma Make freezes on certain elements. I found that it starts to freeze on Dropdown Items, which makes it impossible to work on the interface.The styles have also changed (some elements have changed color, outlines have been added or removed, which I did not do).  There were also errors like this:But the funny thing is that when you deploy a project to Publish or Static Files, everything is fine. But when you work through the Figma Make builder, errors occur.I assume this is a bug on Figma's side. Please can you help​@Andrew_Chan ​@seni ​@Gayani_S ​@Tom Reem  I can send a link in a private message.

I tried to use a recently updated shadcn component (made using slots) in my Figma file (our design system library also made using shadcn components), but I see an error that “Components with slots are not supported in this file” and the component could not be copied. Why is that happening? I have a professional full seat.

When I draw a straight line, the coordinate of the line remains on the edge even when i set the stroke position to centre. This make it difficult to align perfectly. See this example where I am making a cross. Alignment is imperfect even when I use the align tools. You can see the bounding box of the line is on the edge rather than the centre. Can I fix this?Object aligns to the selection bounding box rather than centre of line. This is the result of align both lines with the position align options. I’m trying to make a perfect cross, this is the result.

Hello,I'm having an issue with Figma. I can only see the mobile preview, and I can't switch to a desktop preview (app neither web)Also, when I watch tutorials, I see options like "Custom Settings", but these sections don't appear in my interface.Because of that, I can't change the preview or configure it for desktop.Does anyone know: why my preview is only in mobile view? how I can switch the preview to desktop? and why I don't have some options shown in tutorials (like "Custom Settings")? Good afternoon)) I copied the parent component and changed the data inside the rows of the drop-down list of the child component. In Figma, everything opens correctly inside the Frame, but in the animation the list is different. How can I fix this?

Hello! A client granted me a full seat, which I can also see stated next to the workspace name. But inside the files I still see the “Ask to edit” component. The client checked the settings ion their side and say that everything is set as for other active designers. But I still see either the “view-only” component or “ask to edit” one where I did not yet ask for permission. I have no clue where the problem lies. Anyone has a clue?

When I try to expand the image, it shows the error “Cannot expand transparent backgrounds”, but that’s exactly what they did in the video, has anyone managed to do it?I’ve already tried putting the image inside a frame, flatten and using Fill background, but nothing worked.

As the title says, is Figma for Governements limited to US agencies, or can other countries also opt-in on this plan?

  Both of my projects started showing this warning today while using Figma Make. The warning appears in the console and points to a React issue. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Any insights or solutions would be appreciated.   

I used figma make to generate poster. It write codes but I cannot see it on preview page. I have tried to refresh page and checked my internet connection. And I cannot see the preview in both web and application, what can I do?
