Does Figma AI Agent support Undo?

I've been trying the new Figma AI Agent, but I can't figure out how to undo the changes it makes.

Regular Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z doesn't seem to work for the AI-generated edits.

  • Is there an undo/history specifically for AI Agent actions?

  • How can I selectively revert some of the changes while keeping the rest?

  • What's the recommended workflow if the agent makes a mix of good and bad edits?

Would love to know how others are handling this.

Hi Golnaz, Celine from the Community Support at Figma here, thanks for the questions!

  • Is there an undo/history specifically for AI Agent actions? Yes, but it works differently than regular undo. Cmd/Ctrl+Z only covers your manual edits. For agent changes, you need to use the chat instead (right after the agent finishes a turn, an Undo button briefly appears there to roll back that change.)

  • How can I selectively revert some changes while keeping the rest?
There's no selective revert. If you've got a mix of good and bad edits, the best approach is to keep prompting the agent to fix the parts you don't like.

  • What's the recommended workflow if the agent makes a mix of good and bad edits?
If the Undo button has already disappeared (it doesn't stay visible for long), no problem — you can still ask the agent directly in the chat to undo what it just did!

Hope this helps! 🙂
