Hi everyone,I’ve been unable to use Figma Make for about 4 days now. I reached out to Support and a Product Specialist confirmed this is a known bug: "The issue you're experiencing seems to be related to a Make bug that our engineering team is actively investigating... this error message is not related to any AI credit limits."This seems to be account-specific. My main account (Professional Plan) is completely stuck, but a separate test account is working perfectly on the same PC/network. Is anyone else experiencing this bug? If you found a workaround to "reset" the account connection to Make, please let me know!

Hello,I wanted to log in with my education account but it’s not possible anymore since I lost access to my education E-mail. Is there any way to change the E-mail of the account to get access again? Or sent the code to another E-Mail?I submitted a request and my ticket number is #1799999 but I can’t see the request on this account when the AI sent me a link to check the status. Should I submit a new ticket? I didn’t get a confirmation mail either on the new mail I gave them for reaching out. Thank you in advance!

Whenever I use the Glass Effect, I encounter the same problem. I create a frame, fill it with a color, and adjust the opacity. However, unwanted lines start appearing, even if I convert the frame into a component. This issue occurs every time, and I would like to understand the reason behind it and how to fix it.

Looking for a plugin that can be connected to Claude Code or GH Copilot that would allow our UX designers to prompt large refactors or layer naming (better than the auto layer naming tool that is there now). I saw https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1609172343926725211But there are very few comments and 2 of the 3 or not great. 

When a designer has updated a design, what is the best way to express design updates through MCP to a model? I did not see any tool that would facilitate. Does anyone know if Figma will add versioning or diffs through an MCP tool? If not, is there an established best practice that like storing all the json data from get_design_context and get_metadata into a snapshot file to compare with when there are updates?

Hi everyone, I am fairly new at using Figma and I am running into an interaction issue on a thumbnail image tile component with an active and hover state. I replace the image on each instance by pasting a different image under the fill option. It shows the correct image when I manually switch between active and hover states on a frame but as soon as I prototype this it will always show the hover state image of the master component. It doesn`t change anything if I add the “while hovering” interaction on the instance instead of the master component. Any idea how to solve this would be much appreciated.

This account was recovered by our team. Ronny Barrios the old owner and now ex-employee was the owner of this account. The marketing team here shared documents of design on figma. Ronny quit on 3/14/2026, and was the owner of these files. However, the files are completely missing now and our team no longer has access to their current project. Is there a way to see if he deleted them with malicious intent when he quit to spite the company. If not what happened to them?

This has always been a pain point for me — whenever I need a logo from a website for a moodboard, competitive audit, or brand exploration, I end up digging through DevTools or screenshotting something blurry.I finally got frustrated enough to build a Chrome extension to solve it. It's called LogoFetch — it scans the active tab and surfaces every logo it finds (inline SVGs, linked images, favicons, OpenGraph assets, CSS backgrounds) in a panel. Hey everyone! 👋 I'm having an issue with a dropdown menu in my navigation component and I can't seem to fix it. Here's my setup:- I have a Navigation component with variants (closed and open states)- The dropdown opens using a **Mouse Enter** interaction with **Change to** action, switching to the open variant- The Navigation layer is at the very top of the layer hierarchy on the page The problem is that even though the Navigation is the topmost layer, the section below it (hero section with text and illustrations) is visually overlapping the dropdown when it opens. I've already tried:- Checking and disabling **Clip Content** on all parent frames- Moving the Navigation to the top of the layer panel

Figma slots does not allow for me to edit components with existing content without overriding all instances. For example, i want to update my popover component to leverage my surface card component so the engineers know which surface card is referenced. I drag in the surface card into the component. I drag the content inside the slot, and all instances update. Ideally, this would work similar to when you move content around components it maintains the connection in all instances. see video

I manage a team of designers with the professional plan.I’m aware that starting March 18th, a limit will be enforced for the use of AI credits. What does this mean?- Will my users no longer be able to use AI credit-consuming features until the monthly reset?or- Will they be able to use more AI credits than expected, which will then be billed at the end of the month? If so, is there a way to prevent this and limit credit usage?

Hi everyone,We're migrating from one cloud site to another due to some internal client acquisitions.This involves migrating several hundred issues and approximately 900 Figma Design links.I tried checking with Atlassian's standard data transfer and migration tools, but the links aren't updating, and it seems they all need to be moved manually and updated.Is there a way to properly migrate Figma designs and data from one cloud site to another?Do you have any scripts that can automate the process, for example, via API?Thanks for your help.Davide - Reti Team.

Library Button say PublishI have published the design system file and have done all the updates in the files whose screens/frames that I want to implement in cursor. Every state or variable we create we update our design system figma file (we have bought Shadcn figma UI Kit and applied our branding guidelines). Now I dont know what im missing please help out. My main goal is to improve agent’s context and code output. I have setup my MCP in cursor but I want to use code connect to further improve.

I will not give other details: WHERE THE F*** IS THE AUTOLAYOUT WINDOW? The way in which you change so frequently is the interface is really unrespectful for people that use figma as a working tool.And you should also start changing your ux, ui o graphic designer, because some new icons are totally unreadable (e.g. the stroke one).

Hello,I’m running into a permissions issue since Figma restructured its plans and access controls. Our team works with a number of freelancers, and we need to grant them edit access to individual files—without giving them visibility into the rest of our files. Previously, we were able to share a single file with edit access, but now it seems the only option is to upgrade freelancers to a full design seat. Unfortunately, that also gives them Team-level access, which exposes all of our files. Is there a way to give freelancers edit access to just one file without granting broader permissions? This seems like a very basic, necessary feature. Thanks.

I’m working on a project with 2 files:the Design system, containing the entire component, style and variable library the Delivery file, containing the final mockups.I draft mockups from a “Sandbox” page on the Design system as a way to save time by limiting library publications & updates. Then once it’s ready, I copy/paste the final mockups from the Design system file to the Delivery file.Until now I had no issue. But today, I’m getting the following message:I don’t understand why I’m getting this message. Obviously I want to keep all variables attached only to the Design system file as the single source of assets.I’ve double-checked: the library in the Design system file was fully published and updated on the Delivery file before I copy/pasted the mockups into the latter file. I’ve done it multiple times.The Design system file contains a few hundred variables, and if I do click “Copy variables into this file” on the banner, the confirmation message says “21 variables pasted”.I’m g

This a repost from “Share Your Feedback” (no one from Figma team reviewed it):Feedback 1: since Figma Desktop App version 126.2.7 text styles picker always shows libraries of styles in collapsed state. It’s super annoying, since search doesn’t work until you un-collapse it.Feedback 2: please fix up/down arrow behavior on styles. Example: the text span has style “Body/Emphasized” → I press arrow up expecting it to switch to “Body/Emphasized” → instead Figma selects “Headline/Regular” (the style that just happened to be below the search box). I papercut myself on this multiple times every day for the past couple of months now, at least.Figma’s a great product, I love it, but bugs like these are a big let down for me. I believe basic features like text styles should be dogfooded more to remain best in class.
