Hi everyone! I’m building a complex character system and ran into an issue with overrides.My setup:I have separate component sets for different clothing styles: Business, Workers, Science, Tech, etc..Each style has a large set of arm poses (about 36 variants like Holding L, Relaxed, etc.) and leg poses.I use a main "Human" component where I swap these outfits using Instance Swap.The problem:When I select a specific pose (e.g., Holding L) in the Workers style and then switch the outfit to Science, Figma resets the pose to the default one instead of keeping Holding L.What I've tried:Keeping the layer names identical across all styles (e.g., the arm layer is always named Arms).Using Nested Instances to surface the pose properties.My question:Is there a way to "link" these separate clothing components so Figma understands that Pose: Holding L in Workers is the same as Pose: Holding L in Science? Or do I have to merge all 100+ variants (all styles and all poses) into one giant component set

Can you pls help me with this error I am getting with fonts and figma? I need to update a file from Smartcat with the translation ASAP and it seems like I have the fonts? Even downloading the installer fonts is not resolving this issue. I've emailed support twice already and have not heard back.

I am not a professional designer, but I have been tasked with creating a simple website for the gym where I work.I am using the Figma Sites feature, but I am having trouble creating the mobile menu.In the image, the top menu is for web and tablet use, and I would like to use the bottom section as the mobile menu.I want the mobile menu to normally appear as a left-hand menu with a '+' button, but when the '+' is clicked, it should change to a '-' like the right-hand menu and expand downwards.I would be very grateful if you could help me.

I routinely run into this basic issue:I create a component with text (string param) and icon (instance swap param) I add a variant to the component I change the text and/or icon I create an interaction, when you click on variant A it changes to variant B In the prototype, variant A changes to variant B in all aspects EXCEPT for the params, the variant A text and/or icon persist in variant B 

Hi, We were recently charged $1,790.60 (Invoice: DUUM7BSC-0002), and we believe this was due to multiple full seats being unintentionally added to our account. As soon as we noticed the issue, we immediately reviewed our team and removed the extra seat. Currently, we only have 1 full seats, which reflects our actual usage. The additional seats were not intentionally used, and this charge was unexpected. We have already contacted support, but we would appreciate any guidance or help from the community regarding this situation or similar experiences. Has anyone faced something similar? Were you able to get a refund or partial refund? Thank you

I submitted my Figma plugin Flow Rapid for review 3 weeks ago. Reviews usually take up to 2 weeks. Has anyone experienced delays like this? I haven’t received any emails from Figma — is there anything I can do?

Hi all,I would like to add the font size Cabinet Grotesk  in figma as it is not recognized so this makes it difficult with optimization to 'hug' the texts in the 'phrames'.  I would like to add the lettertype and I have a file with all the sizes. When I want to add it to settings, in my AI built website, and choose 'Fonts' in my file I read the following: 'No web fonts needs to be uploaded’, see screenshot below.Does anyone know how to solve this? I am out of credits… perhaps this is a problem? I can optimize the text when I change the lettertype in a known font. Or is it recommended to change the font lettertype once transferred to wordpress? Thank you in advance, Vicky

Hi,I just started a new study program and had to change the mail address of my Figma Account to the new university mail. I wanted to reapply for the Education Plan since Figma changed it to the free plan because I graduated. Now it is not possible to get the Ed Status again because apparently I reached a limit. I already contacted the SheerID support but the couldn't help me and said they saw a verification from last year but I think its still connected with my old mail. Is there any other solution?(I’m writing this from my other account because I had a registration here)

Have set up variable tokens for fonts - style weight etc.Created font styles with these variables.Applied styles to the text frames.But when I change modes, the font doesn’t get updated or rendered correctly. For example one mode is poppins and another is roboto but there is no font family change being applied. Only the colours change. Not the font.

When I subscribed to Weavy.ai, before it was aquired by Figma, I was able to use an email/password instead of SSO.  Today I got signed out of that account and cannot access it because the email/password login is not an option anymore. I still have credits on that account!@Figma-Weave team, how can I access my account again?

Hi guys, I’ve been using Figma make since november, it was so great, efficient, a real life changing solution!But since it became a paid service it’s a real nightmare!! Much less efficient, kind of dumb for basic request. Dear [Support/Sales Team], I’m writing to express my concern and frustration regarding the Organization Plan tied to my account. sent an email requesting to downgrade the plan and reduce the number of seats as we no longer needed them. However, despite that request, I just received a new invoice charging for all seats, including those we no longer use. I previously encountered unexpected charges for additional seats that were never intentionally added. Working on a multi-module SaaS project — what belongs in the shared UI library vs staying local?I'm a UI/UX designer working on a project basis (not in-house) on a health management SaaS platform with 8+ modules. Each module has its own primary color, unique workflows, and some module-specific components alongside shared ones. The dev team is 6+ full-time developers.I used a design-first approach — designed screens iteratively and built the shared component library alongside as a reference and handoff tool, not as a prerequisite to design.The shared library currently covers foundations (colors, typography, spacing, icons), core primitives (buttons, inputs, tables, modals, badges, progress bars), and patterns that recur across multiple modules.The dev team is now pushing for every new component to go into the shared library — including cards and layout patterns that are unique to a single module. The entire process is problematic and it automatically adds things without the ability to remove. THIS IS THE MOST :UNETHICAL PRACTICES I HAVE SEEN. FIGMA is run by crooks! 

In Figjam, when I have a shape selected (like square) and change the color of that shape. I am always reset back to the circle shape. The selected shape should persist regardless of the color change. Super annoying

We understand invoices are only available after purchase under Admin → Billing → Invoices.However, our internal procurement process requires a pre‑payment invoice (or equivalent document) before we can proceed with payment.Has anyone successfully handled this scenario?Were you able to obtain a pre‑payment invoice or quote from Figma? If so, what worked for you? Hi everyone,I’m experiencing a persistent issue when trying to use Gemini 3 Pro with Nano Banana in Figma AI.In about 90% of my attempts to generate or regenerate an image, I receive the message:“model currently overloaded, try again later.”This started roughly a week ago, and since then the model has become almost unusable for me — most requests fail with this error. Retrying multiple times usually doesn’t help. Other models work correctly, иut the result, of course, is not as good.

Figma make suddenly stopped working. Every time I try to give prompt, it shows error continuously showing ‘something went wrong’ in red showing some weird ID. I need to complete my task ASAP. I tried to reach the Figma support team by mailing at support, still no response!!

I’m building a portfolio/website using Figma Sites. On my homepage, I have different containers for each project, and my goal is that when I click on a project, instead of opening a new page, it triggers an overlay on top of the homepage showing that project’s text and images.I created an interactive banner using code so I could reuse the same template for every project. Now that I’m starting to replace the content, I’ve realized I need a better way to update the images for each project.Right now, the only method I’ve found is to manually drop the images into the Figma file, convert each one into code, and then copy that code as an import into the original banner so the component knows where the image is coming from.I’m wondering if there’s an easier way to manage this—ideally a place where I can store all my images and update them whenever needed. Everything else on the site can be changed with simple copy/paste, so I’m hoping images can work the same way.If anyone has a solution or a
