Is there a way to pause animations on click or tap? I have a play/pause button that has a circular progress bar inside of it. I would like to click it, then as the progress bar animates around the circle, I would like to be able to click the button again and have the bar stop/pause, then be able to click once more and have it continue to animate where it left off. Is this even passible? 

My dev mode is not starting even if ive verified my student account.

I am creating an ‘infinite’ photo gallery. Basically a grid of images in various orientations that extends in all directions. I am creating empty rectangles to make the grid shape and then have other people paste their images into each rectangle. The problem I am having is a lot of the rectangles were rotated so when the image is pasted into it, the image is also rotated. Is there a way to make all the rectangles ‘forget’ how they have been rotated and just work as a regular container for the images? thanks

When sharing a link to a page in Figma to a viewer, we have recently experienced that the viewer can not see the updates made by the designer when the reviewer is revisiting the page via the link the day after?It’s creating a lot of frustrations when you think the viewer is seeing the same thing as the designer is, but they can’t see the updates that have been made since last.We have not noticed this earlier. Is there a fix for it?We have also experienced that the updates made by one designer (in the most recent case a new page added in a file) was not visible to another designer until the other designer reopened the file. This causing great frustrations when designers working together online on the same project.

Recently I got a problem with my Figma projects (web and app likewise) - all the PNG files in any project does not load, as well as their thumbnails (the thumbnails got partially fixed at some point, but now are not loading again).My attempts to fix the issue:Pressed Help - Troubleshoot - Reset Figma and Restart couple of times. Cleared my both C and D drives (not completely), removed the unnecessary .fig, .psd, .png files, some apps, even the After Effects and Media Encoder, since the initial thought was the problem was caused by some sort of incompatibility.  Cleared the browser cache (both the Chrome-based one I use and the Chrome itself). Updated the AMD drivers to the latest version. Updated Figma app to the latest version. Re-installed Figma app like 5 times, and I hope it was a proper reinstall, since everytime I opened FigmaSetup, it just went straight to the app, without even a chance of choosing different drive to install (I don’t remember how did the app behave the very firs

In vector editing mode, command+click (or bend tool + click) on a node removes the toggle handles. Is there a way to remove the handles for all selected nodes at the same time?

I have a brand font installed but it’s not rendering any punctuation correctly e.g. “ ? ! & all become generic and off-brand. They’re very distinctive and look obviously wrong but the font is fine in Adobe. How can I continue to use Figma for design and solve this issue, I don’t want to move into Adobe, it’s going to slow my process down SO much and I’ve invested so much time into building out my design system.Thanks!

Hi! My team has a Professional plan. The admin is the person who is responsible for the organization billing and the person who has access to the credit card.However she is not a designer and my manager does not agree in paying a licence for someone that really won’t use it. It doesn't make sense.According to Figma documentation the View seat doesn't allow the user to manage the billing.Is there any other way to allow her to take car of teh billing without needing the Full seat? Thanks!

However, the message doesn’t specify which team.From what I understand, the plan applies per team, not per account.Has anyone run into the same situation? hi all, I’m adding a stroke to a block of text but the rounding seems quite severe - is this just because the text itself has some rounding? Anything I can do to remove the rounding? Thanks!  

I am building a plugin that identifies whether a component is linked to a design system library. If the component is linked to a library, I want to identify the name of the library it is coming from.For example, if I use a component from the iOS design system library in my design file, I want to detect that it's linked and show that the component is from the “iOS” design system. How do I get the library name from the node?

Hey Figma team,I wanted to report a problem that’s been bugging our team for the past few months. We have an Icon Library in our design system, as well as a separate glyph library. These icons are used in different sizes across the product (16px, 24px, etc.). The master components of each icon and glyph contain elements which are all set to ‘scale’.However, within our larger components, whenever we want to swap an instance of an icon with a different one from our library, the scaling (of dimensions, stroke width, and border radius) is not properly applied, resulting in a broken view. One example is:We have a nested icon component scaled to 16x16px; We replace the instance with another icon from either library (original component of which is 24x24 but all elements set to scale) and expect it to scale properly to the 16x16 dimensions. However, the swapped icon appears broken in terms of the scale of elements inside, stroke width and border radius; We have to resort to a workaround like:

When I copy a component and paste it only the text part of the component getting pasted, loosing all the properties associated with that component.

Not really sure how to log this because I don’t think it’s a question, and it’s not really worth having a conversation around, but I’m noticing this ‘dead space’ on the effects and stroke panel. I’ve restarted my Figma file + app multiple times but it doesn’t change anything. The only thing that fixes is it if I scroll up in the right panel… as if there’s an imaginary square blocking me from clicking the `+` button.  Video for reference You can see if I hover here, there’s no hover state (it’s not letting me click it):  But if I were to scroll or add a stroke, I can add an effect:  The video will show you a better idea of what I’m talking about lol, but I’d like to flag this. This isn’t working on my other computer, so it’s confusing but also annoying. 

Hi! I have a strange problem.When I use Auto Layout in the **web version** of Figma, everything works fine. The Auto Layout panel appears on the right and I can change padding, spacing, direction, etc.But in the **desktop version**, even after pressing Shift + A and applying Auto Layout to a frame, the Auto Layout panel doesn't appear on the right side at all.Things I already tried:– Reinstalled the app– Cleared cache (from AppData folders)– Restarted computer– Switched UI modes– Tried different files– Used another Windows user account– Checked latest versionStill the panel is missing in desktop app, but works fine in web. I'm using Windows and live in Uzbekistan.Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys,Any idea how I can wrap in Auto Layout? There used to be an option, but it beats me how it works after they changed the UI3 again. I am literally baffled, it used to be simple and straight forward.edit: found it, it only shows up when applicable. Which is pretty counter intuitive imo, that’s why Active/Inactive states exist :)

Hello! Just wanted to report my experience coming from a design interview held on Zoom. I had a different interview on Teams where I also used Slides, but didn’t experience the same issues. When I tried to present only the audience view while I remained on the presenter screen, the screen share would switch to my presenter screen, making them see my speaker notes. Even though I’ve specified the window to use, it’s somehow recognizing both my Figma windows as one screen I had to move to browser, but even then, everytime I moved to the next slide in presenter view, I had to refocus back to the audience window for it to update My live prototype desktop embed did not work during the presentation. I tested this on my own within the app, but when I had to switch to browser, my interactions did not work at all and I had to pull up the actual design file Adding speaker notes was working perfectly the other day with another deck, but while I was working on this deck, it would not let me add my

The interaction tooltip is failing to show up in the prototype panel when clicking on an interaction. The issue is happening consistently for me when there have two or more interactions on a frame. When there is only one interaction on the frame, the properties panel does correctly show the interaction tooltip.  

Hello Everybody, my team and I have run into an issue and I can’t find a solution.I want to be able to download the rounded corner image as it is (440x383 px) in Dev mode, without the transparent layer, text, and icons on it. I don’t need the original image (I know how I can export it) since that one is large. Did anybody run into this issue?I need the solution to work in Dev mode.The image is the Fill of the Auto layout that holds the transparent layer with text and icons. I have tried refactoring the component but until I don’t break it apart and add the image on a separate layer, I couldn’t find a way to export it separately. Can anybody recommend an image resize plugin that works? We would need this for the original images to make them smaller. I have tried “Crunch Image optimization”  but it gives an error. 

Heyyy,Both in Figma Make and Figma Sites, the TXT DNS Records are not getting verified quickly. The CNAME Records instantly update and sync, but the TXT doesn’t update even after 48 hours.One of my first Figma Sites got published, but beyond that none of my other sites or Make Websites are getting laucnhed or connected to the domain due to TXT DNS Record verification delay
