Hi @HarryS ,
I'm not sure if I understand correctly, but it sounds like you'd like to continue editing your design created in Figma Make — and ideally move it into a more flexible product like Figma Design?
If so, currently there isn’t a native way to open or edit a Figma Make file directly in Figma Design. That said, you can still make certain changes within Figma Make using the Point and Edit tool. You can learn more in this Help Center article: Can I edit my functional prototype or web app with Figma Design tools?
While we wait to hear more from the community, just so you know — this topic closely relates to a popular feature request: Figma Make to Figma Design
If this is something you’d like to see, feel free to add your voice there!
If, instead, you’re simply looking to move your Figma Make file to another location (like a different project or team), this article might help: Move a file
Thanks,
Hi eveyrone,
I’ve started by drafting/prototyping in Figma Make, and have moved things forwards really quickly. I’d now like to move the screens into more of a workable space where I can see/edit all screens to take them from initial concept to my specific design and see noodles linking screens together.
Do you know if it’s possible to move the files across, or am I better taking screenshots and starting from scratch with a craft butcher approach?
You can’t move files directly from Figma Make to full Figma, so the best option is to use your Make designs as a reference and rebuild them in Figma to get full editing and prototyping features.
