I moved a bunch of Figma files to a new project folder. Now I'm seeing the files double? O_o But when I click eighter of the double files, they link to the same Figma file... Glitch?

Hi,Figma asked me to reverify my student plan. So I followed all the steps throughout the process, but the verification was never confirmed. I have now tried multiple times since, the exact same way my classmates did and got it to work, but I am now locked out. I can’t edit team files anymore, which is a big problem currently.Hope you can help me:)

Hey everyone I tried to search for a similar situation like mine, but couldn’t find anything. It seems that the drop shadow is being cut off in the PDF I exported. Like this:  But in the Figma file, the drop shadow is fine. I’ve tried to enclose the whole frame in another larger frame, but it still cuts off like that. Check the file here.

I’m unable to locate a file that I didn’t delete. I still have the shared link, but I can’t access it, it says the design file may have been deleted, moved, or is unavailable.Please, I need help resolving this.

I am having trouble importing a plugin from a manifest file in the desktop app. Clicking ‘Import plugin from manifest’ doesn’t open a directory. Please see the attached screenshot

I noticed that after the last update some of my nested components are broken in sizing/scaling. I would reload my library after publishing and half the instance across various screens would take off. Specifically the components are getting bigger somehow. For instance this image component, nested in a product card, should be as is in the version on the bottom, after reloading the component from the ds library the image is bigger. Or the stamp in the footer is correctly inserted in the beige space in DS itself but as an instance it seems to enlarge quite a bit. This happens with images, icons, other assets like stamps etc. It seems that it needs me to manually redo everything now (copy-pasting from DS library, editing etc) and i do not have that type of time/budget for this big of a project. 

😥 I have a problem: I can’t work well with my teammate cuz it's so laggy when we're working on the same project, but when someone closes the project, Figma just goes back to normal for the other one who's still in the project. Is there any method to solve this issue ?

Hi I use a samsung a34 5g, I want to use the figma app, but when I open the app it ask me to login I click login but it says my chrome isn't updated, I checked chrome and figma and it fully updated, I don't know what to do any help please.

This is a similar question that i have mentioned. But as the solution provided by the reply is not helping me. The option not have for ‘custom size’ or ‘desktop sizes’ as you can see in the screenshot. I have changed to option like ‘Fit device on screen’ or ‘zoom device to fill screen’. But no use.Is this because I am using the ‘Free’ version of Figma? 

When signed into figma make, I’m unable to highlight and copy ohrases from the AI chat.  Was working fine for weeks before this.  All of a sudden the interface and font of the chat changed and now unable to highlight and copy.  I’ve tried clearing cache and used chrome and edge and the same thing happens.

I tried to use your AI agent to help me with creating an appropriate Access Token, turning in circles for hours until I manually looked into the API documentation and found that the access I am after is only granted for Enterprise Users. While editing a web page using the AI generation feature, I was entering prompts in Japanese. However, when I pressed the Enter key to confirm text conversion (IME input), the prompt was immediately submitted to the AI. As a result, the text kept being sent unintentionally, and I was unable to finish typing a proper sentence.In cases where it only triggers a chat-style response, the impact is still manageable. However, when it is interpreted as a generation command, credits are continuously consumed and unnecessary page generations are executed repeatedly. This leads to significant unintended credit loss.This issue occurs consistently and is fully reproducible. This behavior appears to be a fundamental UX design flaw, and I strongly request that this issue be addressed and fixed as soon as possible.Thank you.

Hi Figma team, I need help with my account access.I suddenly lost access to my school email because it has been blocked/disabled by the institution. As a result, I can no longer log in to my Figma account that was registered using that school email.All of my important design files are stored in that account, and unfortunately I never set any email forwarding or secondary recovery email. Since I no longer have access to the school email at all, I’m unable to receive any verification emails or reset my login.Because of this, I would like to request assistance to change the email associated with my Figma account to a new active email, or any alternative method to regain access to my files.I can provide any information needed to verify ownership of the account.Thank you in advance for your support!

 Greetings,My previous user email is [redacted by forum admin to remove PII] and recently, after I completed my studies, my university has migrated the email from siswa to siswa-old, causing my email to be [redacted by forum admin to remove PII].Consequently, my Figma projects under my previous version of email are all gone, losing years worth of projects and designs, even those related to the workshops I conducted. Does anyone know how to get my projects back?Thank you. 

I’ve lost access to my education account which holds all of my previous files. I thought I had linked everything to the account I’m currently on but it seems that no matter what I do, I cannot regain access to it nor the files. 

I’ve submitted the sales contact form several times over the past three months, but I still haven’t received any reply from Figma. I’m looking to purchase three organization accounts, billed yearly by invoice, and would really appreciate an update.Is there someone from the team who can help or let me know the next steps?

I have a prototype embedded into a slide and that works great, But when I embed the slides file on my Square Space site I get the “www.figma.com refused to connect.” error message and the prototype doesn’t load. I searched and made sure all the permissions are set correctly. Is this a bug or some security setting within the browser?  Any help will be appreciated, for now I have a work around that opens the prototype in a new window via a text link but that is clunky.  

Hey everyone,I updated Figma this morning and everything was working fine for a few hours, then suddenly it just stopped letting me select anything. I can’t click on objects, frames, or even use the hand tool to pan around. It’s like the whole canvas becomes unresponsive.At first I thought it was just a glitch - I restarted my Mac and that seemed to fix it temporarily. But it’s happened again, and this time restarting or reloading Figma doesn’t help at all. I even tried switching from my pen tablet to a mouse in case it was a hardware issue, but the problem persists.Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Restarted the Figma app Reloaded the file Restarted my Mac (temporary fix) Switched input devices (pen tablet → mouse) Nothing seems to work, and I’m basically stuck - can’t select, move, or pan anything.System: macOS 26.0.1 Appl

Dear experts,I shared a file to Anyone with “can view” permissions. When users not signed in to Figma open the URL, they get red error message "You don’t have access to this file" for a second, then get redirected to Figma’s start page. Any idea why this happens?Kindest regards,Victor

My student ID card is in Polish because I study at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Poland. I submitted the front and back of my student card several times, but the verification failed each time due to an error.I have already contacted SheerID, the company responsible for the verification process, and created a support ticket. However, I previously had a negative experience with SheerID when trying to verify my student account, so I would kindly like to ask for assistance from the Figma moderation team.This student plan is very important for me to complete my university work and finish my final projects. Hi, When i was redeeming my student plan, i realized i put some wrong information after i redeemed, so i deleted my account accidentally. I can’t redeem it again now.I’ve contacted SheerID twice and told me to contact education@figma.com with my verification id, but they still haven’t answered me after i sent 3 emails in the span of 2 weeks.Please help me solve this problem.  

To make use of component properties better and reduce the no. of variants I tried creating my button with primitives which have 2 variants: Large: Icon size 20px (with instance swap), font style is button large (i.e. font size: 14px) Small: Icon size 16px (with instance swap), font style is button small (i.e. font size: 12px) Then I used this large variant to create a new component called ‘Button’ which comprises of all the different types (solid, outline, ghost etc) and states (default, hover, disabled etc.). Now when I take out a child of this ‘Button’, and change the properties of ‘Button’ first and then of ‘Primitive’ it works fine but when I have done this and try to change the properties of ‘Button’ again, then the icon colour gets back to primitive’s icon colour. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, I’ve kept the name of icons also similar as mentioned by
