Styles in dev mode

Hi, dear community!

After the recent update, I've come across an issue with styles in dev mode (macos app / chrome or arc figma website). Right now, I can’t copy a single line from the styles block — I can only copy all of them using the button. It's not possible to highlight and copy just one line.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi,

After the update, I can no longer copy individual CSS style properties. Now it’s only possible to use the copy button, but in that case it copies all the styles.

I had the same problem, but when I restarted Figma it seems to be working again lol - hope that helps!

Me too.  Figma makes me feel really dumb for even trying to use it.

Thanks for flagging this! I understand you're having trouble copying individual lines of code from the Styles section in Dev Mode.

I just tested this on my end and was able to highlight and copy a single line successfully.
 

As ​@jasylingling  mentioned(thanks!), could you try the following quick steps to see if it helps?

  • Close any extra Figma tabs you’re not using

    • Browser: Force-quit your browser and open Figma in a new window

    • Desktop app: Force-quit the Figma desktop app and restart it

If the issue still persists and you're open to it, you can submit a bug report so our team can take a closer look:  Submit a bug report

That is exactly what I’m doing, and have been doing similarly in various Figma versions for a few years now. It simply NO LONGER WORKS.

Please fix it.
