I am a student at a higher education institution and I have been issued an official school email address by my university.Unfortunately, my university does not provide students with direct login credentials (password or external SSO access) for this email address. Access to the mailbox is only possible through the internal university system (Outlook / extranet), and it is not possible to log in to third-party services using this email account.Because of this limitation, I am unable to sign in to Figma using my school email address, even though I am eligible for the Figma Education plan.I would like to ask if there is any alternative way to verify my student status (for example, by providing proof of enrollment or a student certificate), or if there is any workaround in this situation.

Hi,Overnight, my prototype started acting weird in regards to stroke.It looks like the element shortly inherits the default stroke from when applying it before showing the correct one when navigating back and forth between screens.Yesterday, it worked like a charm.I’ve cleared my cache, restarted, reinstalled, etc.

Hello, I'm reporting a persistent bug in Figma.Issue: Unable to publish prototype updates via the Preview tab. Error Message: 'Something went wrong, reload and try again' (in red). Start Time: Jan 27, 2026Troubleshooting steps I've already taken: Refreshed the page; Switched browsers and used Incognito mode; Restarted both the app and the computer; Duplicated the file and attempted to publish (the error happens in the new file as well). Please let me know if you need any logs.

Hello,I'm experiencing a rendering issue with screenshots in Figma that appeared recently without any changes to my settings.Problem: When I place screenshots in my Figma file, they display with unwanted colored boxes overlaid on them in the editor view. After updating my password and being notified of new Terms and Conditions, all drafts I created in the last two years have disappeared. The missing drafts are not located in any Teams I belong to. They are not in Trash. I am using a Free (Student) account.  

Hi, I am unable to get the Grammarly plugin to open on a Figma Slides file. Any reason why this might be happening? 

Experiencing pixel nudge problem, does anyone have the same problem or whats the solution for this.When moving a point from a shape or from pen tool using keyboard arrow keys it nudges 2px even the nudge amount is set to 1px in the settings. The problem also occurs for big nudges, jumping from 20px instead of 10px. When the nudge amount is set to 0.5px, the point will nudge 1px. The problem only occur on points and not on shapes or objects, as far as I observed. Figma Desktop App version 126.0.4I also attahced a quick video.

Hi,When I transfer my designs to the developer, if I apply “clip content” to my page that has overflows (to apply scrolling in prototyping mode), it is impossible for him to see the elements that go beyond the limit that is fixed. I am obliged to uncheck “clip content” to let him see all the elements, which is a hassle.Can you fix it in the DEV mode or is there a workaround to achieve this without having to check/uncheck that “Clip content” box before design handoff? 

I’m a student and my school is an approved bootcamp facilitator. Figma doesnt verify my student status though, after my school explicitly added my email through the verification proces in figma. They’ve asked for support there too with no response. There is nothing else they can do, since they did sent a request to figma. The administator urged me to post this question again here. Please help. It’s been a long time I cannot used the student plan.

So, in principle, if an instance is inside of another component, changing the variant causes the text to reset back to the text of the master component. This also happens with other properties of the instance, e.g. if you set some booleans up they will be reset to how they were set in the master component once the variant is changed via variable. I’ve already restarted and force quitted Figma multiple times, restarted my device too, but for some reason the shortcut to place images (Shift + Cmd + K) is not working all of a sudden. I was in the middle of a workflow when this happened, and not sure how to go around this as this shortcut is an integral part of my workflow. I have been experiencing unusual behavior in Figma for several days. When I use Spacebar + mouse to pan, the canvas moves unpredictably in different directions while the spacebar is pressed. Refreshing Figma temporarily resolves the issue, but the glitch reoccurs frequently. I am using Figma Web.

Hello Everyone,We are the developers of the AVIF Exporter Figma Plugin.We have just noticed that recently, when someone tries to expand/minimize the “Size or Quality” bar, the plugin repositions itself to some other position automatically.We do figma.ui.resize behind the scene to support that feature, we are calling only that function, but it also seem to be repositioning the plugin.This didn’t happen before. We have also observed the similar behaviour with other plugin automator .We think there some bug with figma plugin API or figma itself. 

Our Sandbox tenant is experiencing issues. We are unable to log into previous Make files or published Make sites.
