Hi team, I’ve began using Figma Sites this week and having a consistent issue of my previews not loading at all, either on the desktop app or on Browser. This is persistent and ONLY affecting Sites - I am having no issues with previews in Make, etc. I have Reset and Restarted Figma, uninstalled and redownloaded the app too, to no avail. Is this a common issue or is there something specific going wrong here?

We’re experiencing an issue with the #get_image tool in MCP. While it appears to retrieve the image successfully, the image does not render correctly in the actual implementation. This issue did not occur in the early stages of using MCP. Has there been any known issue or update related to this?

While working on a file, when I collapse all layers (OPT+L), it seems like Figma starts syncing the file, which makes it extremely slow for a few moments. I didn’t have this problem in the past.

When sharing my Figma Slides presentation with clients, the hyperlinked text is not clickable on mobile. When clients try to tap the link, the presentation progresses to the next slide instead of opening the link in another tab like it does on desktop. It’s important to note that these clients do not have the Figma mobile app and will not be downloading it in the future, so this solution must apply to the mobile browser version of the Presentation links. Am I missing something or is this not possible? Please advise.

It would help if you can lock obejcts on the page so they are not always in the way while formating - its always a send to back fight here

I have links to two of my drafts, but they seem to have been removed from my library. They cannot be accessed by the links either. I have opened a ticket 1417624 (it was autoclosed), links to the files can be found there. There may be more drafts that have disappeared from my library, but I do not have links for them.

Hello everyone, I’ve run into an issue in Figma prototypes: whenever a component has a Background Blur effect, Smart Animate stops working correctly. I’m looking for any known workarounds or explanations. Scenario A Frame/Component includes: A semi-transparent fill (e.g. white at 20% opacity) Background Blur effect (Radius: 20px) I use Smart Animate to transition this component between different states (variants, interactive component states, or separate frames). Observed Behavior Without blur (same component with only an opaque fill and no blur), all Smart Animate transitions run smoothly. With blur applied, Smart Animate transitions: Jump instantly without interpolation, Or fail to animate entirely. Questions Are there any known Figma limitations or bugs when using Smart Animate on layers with Background Blur? How can I achieve smooth Smart Animate transitions on blurred components without relying on masks or overlays? Could there be a prototype setting or component hierarchy detail

Issues when swapping libraries: Design variables are not correctly transferred, even if they exist in both libraries and are named identically. Modes defined in variables are ignored during the swap. Styles that reference variables retain their link to the original library, but do not switch to the equivalent variable in the new library, even if an identical one exists there. Why this is a bug: This behavior makes variable-based library swapping essentially unusable. The idea of evolving and maintaining design systems through versioned libraries becomes impractical – at least when variables are involved. For teams working with structured design systems and variables, this is a disaster. It causes significant manual effort, breaks system logic, and undermines component reliability. We are using monthly professional plan on Figma and there is a team named "xyz" inside which I work on my design mostly. So inside this team there are several other projects as well which are our products as well. So, inside some of this project there is published design system made in the separate project within the same team so the same design system is used in couple of projects. Now I have started to make another project which is completely new and I have not published any library there but when I am inside that new project and check the assets panel there appears the components of the design system used in other projects which I have not published in this file. How do I fix this? Please! help

How to quickly locate the latest edited page after opening the project? Every time you open the project folder, the first file is always displayed. I hope to display the latest edited file.

I used to work for a company that provided me with a Figma account, but that's no longer the case. I have a free account I have been using, but I’ve reached my maximum number of pages and need to upgrade to continue. Unfortunately, when I try to upgrade my ‘team’ to the professional account it somehow brings in both my current gmail based account and the deprecated old account through my previous company. I have no idea how it even knows about that account, it’s not linked anywhere in my team, and I’m not signing in with it. For obvious reasons I don’t want to pay twice as much for a shut down account attached to an email address I can’t access, but since this user doesnt actually exist on my team I can’t remove them. This screen certainly doesn’t give any UI for that. I tried contacting support, but since I’m on a free version I can’t (which is an enraging interaction).

Hello Figma community, I'm a type designer and I've encountered a workflow issue that affects font development in Figma. When I reinstall an updated font file (for example, after adjusting spacing, adding new glyphs, or making other modifications), Figma doesn't automatically display the updated version in existing text layers. Current behavior: The font updates only become visible after clicking on each text box individually. Expected behavior: Font updates should be reflected immediately across all text layers using that font family. This creates an inefficient workflow during the iterative design process, as I need to manually interact with every text element to see the changes. For projects with multiple text layers, this becomes quite time-consuming. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a workaround I'm missing, or could this be considered for a future update? Hi, I duplicated 2 files, a library and a design file. The new design file is obviously still attached to the previous library. I want to attach it to the new library. Everything is still exactly the same. I open the library panel in the new design file, add the new library to the file and detach the old one, then I click on “swap library” in order to replace components and styles in the file, but I get this error ID: ba6fb6fe90044b46a5917a85bf89e636. Did this happen to anyone else? If yes anyone found a solution? How am I supposed to swap my libraries if this doesn’t work, I tried more than 20 times over the week end.

A frame below the fold with mouse enter trigger not respecting the preserve scroll position functionality. My main top level frames are named identically. Just about every frame, header and nav have auto layouts so I don’t know if that is causing the issue but I don’t see why it would. This is making my scroll to top button difficult to use and a dynamic header that goes away on scroll down and quickly comes back on scroll up before getting to the top of the page impossible.

When exporting frames with gradients to PNG, you'll get semi-transparent pixels—even when all gradient stops are 100% opacity. This happens whether the gradient is applied directly to the frame or on a separate layer, as long as there's no solid fill behind it. The attached Figma file includes four test frames. Visually, they appear identical, but only the fourth frame—with a solid fill behind the gradient—exports as fully opaque. You can verify this with a tool like: PNG transparency checker; the first three exports contain semi-transparent pixels. A workaround is to move the gradient to a separate layer, then apply a solid fill to the frame behind it, like the fourth frame in the attached file. This avoids the PNG transparency problem but adds unnecessary layer complexity. Repro Steps Create a new Figma Design file Add a frame With the frame selected, change its fill to Linear Gradient. Within a file you can copy and paste frames with annotations while their tags remain but if you copy frames or components to another file, the annotations get copied which is great but their tags unfortunately disappear. Expected behavior: Annotation tags should remain if copy and pasted to another file.

I can no longer copy one line of CSS out of dev view. I now have to use the clipboard icon to copy all the CSS and paste it into my file, then delete what I don’t need. I have added stills showing basics. I am on a Mac Sequoia 15.3.1, using Figma in Firefox Dev 139.0b5. It seems to be ok in Chrome, but that is irrelevant, unfortunately, as process is dependent on Firefox Dev.
