Within the past month Ctrl-C stopped working for FigJam. Ctrl-V works fine, and right clicking to copy also works fine. Is there something I need to toggle?

After updating to macOS Tahoe and the latest Figma update, my laptop's processor started to overheat. I don't work with large files but the situation is critical for the laptop's processor. MacBook Pro M1

Hello! I tried re verification for FIGMA student, but it was showing network error even though network was good, and continuously trying it was still showing the same error. Then it started showing Verification limit exceeded. So I contacted sheerID via mail, they responded with: We were unable to process your verification request. And Your ticket has now been permanently closed. I mail them again and again still got no solution.. If it's possible resetting the verification limit, please do it. Please provide the solution for this issue otherwise I won't be able to re verify student plan. I have also attached the image for better clarification.

Hello Figma Team, I’m a student at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (Graphic and Web Design, expected graduation 2027). For my coursework, I need access to a project in Figma that my professor invited me to. Unfortunately, I’ve been completely blocked by SheerID’s broken verification process. Here’s what happened: I entered all my details correctly (school, program, dates, etc.). SheerID didn’t respond for days and then simply closed my case, saying they “were unable to process the request.” I offered multiple times to provide documents (passport, student ID, enrollment confirmation), even to join a video call - they just ignored this. I have reached out to Figma support several times, but every time I only get the same response: “Please contact SheerID.” But what am I supposed to do if SheerID does not reply and simply ignores my requests? This is absolutely unprofessional behavior on SheerID’s side. But in the end, I want to use Figma, not SheerID - and that means Figma itse

OMG they randomly disappear constantly. How is this such a hard problem for Figma to solve? Just give us a thumbnail upload option.

dear, I have been trying to contact support without success in the last weeks. I am not able to reverify my Education institution. The reason of it is because, in order to reverify, I am redirected to a google form. Nevertheless, our Figma account is not connected with Google and then I am not able to fill the form. What should I do on this situation? We cannot lost the access to Figma now.

Hi! I’ve run into Connection Error 118 when I was trying to rum Figma Desktop App. I still can work from Firefox. But Chrome also doesn’t respond. I’ve tried cleaning cache and rebooting router but none of these worked. Can you give some advice how to fix this?

I’ve enabled Google Analytics in a Figma Site that I launched about a month ago and I’m able to see Users and Page Views, but not the Engagement Time. Is there a way to fix this or is it a know issue?

Hi,I’m experiencing an issue with the “Change to Variant” interaction: I created a simple component with two variants. Added an interaction: On click → Change to → Variant2 (Instant animation). When I open Present mode and click the trigger element, nothing happens. What I have already tried: Tested both in desktop app and browser (Chrome / Edge) – same result. Created a completely new file with a simple rectangle component and two variants – still not working. Tried clearing cache, re-logging, restarting the app. My account is on the Free (Starter) plan, but according to the docs this feature should be available. It looks like the prototyping engine simply ignores “Change to Variant”.Could someone from the Figma team or community help me figure out what might be blocking variant switching? Thanks in advance!

Hello Figma Community, I’m currently enrolled in the Google UX Design course on Coursera and have been using Figma Education Pro through this program. I received an email asking me to re-verify my student status, so I selected “Bootcamp / Online Program”, but I got the message: “Bootcamp students & educators: You cannot self-verify, you must be verified by your bootcamp. Please reach out to them directly with any questions.” Since Coursera is an online program, not a traditional bootcamp, I don’t have an admin to verify me. Coursera support says I should self-verify, but Figma doesn’t allow it for online students. I want to know: How can online course students like me maintain Education Pro access? Will our accounts automatically downgrade to Starter after Sept 29 if no verification is possible? Are there any workarounds for students using Coursera to continue using unlimited files and full Figma Pro features? Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

We are facing several recurring issues in Figma that are seriously affecting our workflow: Auto layout resets — Layouts revert unexpectedly without any interaction. Library updates fail — Updates are either not pushed for a long time, or updating takes ages / doesn’t work at all. Text resets — Text styles and content reset without being touched. These problems create major complications for our design team and cause confusion during developer handoff. 👉 We would greatly appreciate guidance or solutions to fix these issues.

Hello, This is a bug I stumbled on today and which has apparently been reported multiple times and AFAIK not resolved. I think I found the issue and solution: Steps oo reproduce the bug : adds an image to figma crop it using the crop mode of the image export the result as a 1x PNG, no changes to export settings load the result in figma and compare it to how it looked in figma before the export Result: it looks like it went through x0.5 downscale (blurry) then re-upscaled x2 with some sharpening. So it has the same resolution but it looks aweful. Expected result: should look the same as it did before export. Extra tests I did if someone @figma is interested: I checked that the cropping was indeed on the grid. Also tried to force the cropping to be between pixels and that did not change anything. manually resetting the cropping to the exact border of the original image made it export fine again. In a library file our team set up collections of variables and created two modes, one for Desktop and one for Mobile. We then decided that we wanted Mobile to be the default mode. As a workaround to make Mobile the default mode, we renamed the modes, swapping their names (so, Desktop → Mobile, and Mobile → Desktop). We then swapped all the variable values so they were under the correct mode. The problem is that now any pages or frames that were set to a specific variable mode before we renamed and swapped the modes still show the old naming even though they now have the correct styles based on what is supposed to be the default mode (Mobile). So, if I chose Mobile for the variable mode for a page or frame before the swap, it now reads Desktop when the styles are correct for Mobile. Also, new pages or frames created do not have this issue, so I can have two frames right next to each other, one that says “Auto (Mobile)” and one that says “Auto (Desktop)” and they both look correct.This s

I’m sure that the page is extended to include the entire design content of my pages, but when I publish, some of them are fully viewable and others I can’t scroll to the bottom of them! Sometimes it’s just a little bit, and other times it’s a good 200px worth of content. I’ve tried different browsers and it’s consistent across them.

I’ve been using Figma Make to ideate, and sometimes I get frustrated and end up swearing at the AI. I know that’s silly, but when I did, it said I violated a policy and rejected my request. The issue is that even after I stopped swearing, I still get the same error message: “Please try a different input.” I tried waiting a few hours, but the problem didn’t go away. I even duplicated the file, but the duplicate has the same problem. I can’t use that Figma Make file at all anymore, even if I restore earlier versions and try working on them. What’s going on here? The AI already struggles with following instructions, and now I can’t even interact with it.

Hi Figma team & community, I’m stuck on the SheerID step with the error “Verification Limit Exceeded / already redeemed or attempted” when applying for Figma Education. • What I tried: logging in with the target Figma account, applying via figma.com/education/apply, contacting SheerID to reset attempts (awaiting response). • Ask: once SheerID resets/approves, please ensure the verification is linked to my Figma account. If there’s a prior/partial verification under another email, please advise on re-association.

Hello everybody, Issue description: I have problem with Figma which is stopping be from using Figma as I experience crashes almost every time I try to scale or move any frame. It does not seem to be related to complexity of the design file as it happens on both projects which contain 3 frames and 2 components and projects which are much more complex (tens or hundreds of layers). This occurs regardless whether I use browser app or desktop app. The error messages I get are mostly ‘Something went wrong, reason: crashed’ or something what seems like ID of the object I was manipulating (even when it is just one blank frame). Around one year ago, I have never had a Figma crash, but since around last 6 months it happens all the time. My specs are: Geforce RTX 4080 Intel I-9 -14900HX 32 GB Ram What I tried: Two days ago I even reinstalled my operating system (Windows 11) but crashes keep happening even more often I would say. I use COPY on one element, but as soon as I click on another, it copies the new element I clicked, losing the old one that was COPYed. This bug is driving me crazy, please help.
