Figma Make: Converted from REACT to C# last week but this week it says it was never supported

First of, I am very impressed with Figma Make. It is doing exactly what I want it to. All was good. But….I am a little baffled now because I made the prompt “The design is fine now. Change the framework from REACT to MudBlazor” last week and it did. But this week the exact same prompt says it is not supported and never was. But it was and it worked. Why is this feature gone now - have I made a mistake or was it silently removed?

When connecting an external monitor to a laptop and using Figma on it, there are problems with smoothness when moving on the canvas, the laptop is powerful, the problem occurs only when working with Figma. Video Interactions: Set Time + Play Video

Okay so this was driving me crazy for a few days. I found the solution, so i thought I’d post it here in case anyone ran into the same thing. ALSO I still think it’s a bug (FYI Figma).I wanted a video to play from a certain timestamp when the user landed on a certain screen, but it wouldn’t work. I thought first it was a bug, then I thought I had to put the triggger on a different object, etc.Turns out it only works if the ‘play video’ interaction comes BEFORE the ‘set time’ interaction. You can stack them together as “simultaneous”, but ‘play’ has to be first in the list. This was not intuitive for me at all, since I wouldn’t want the video to start playing before the playhead was moved to the correct time.But there you go. I’m glad I found out how to make it work, but I still don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t work the other way around. IMO it’s a bug.

Blocked Educators account even after renewal

I received an email last week saying I needed to renew my Educators plan and that some information was required, I sent everything and was automatically approved. The problem is I still have my files on view only mode and cant edit anything (even if it allows me to ask for editing permissions to the owner -which is myself and can’t give permissions to myself.-)Help please!

During the import process in Figma, it seems that caching affects file naming.I have a large number of PNG images, some of which have identical content but different filenames.I need to batch add rounded corners and stroke effects to these PNGs. However, when I select all of them and drag them into Figma at once, an issue occurs:All images with identical content are forcibly renamed to the same filename by Figma.For example, the original filenames are a1.png, a2.png, a3.png, a4.png,but after import, they all become a1.png. I want to know if there is a way to avoid this forced renaming,because I need to keep the original filenames unchanged. 在 Figma 的导入过程中，缓存似乎会影响文件命名。我有大量 PNG 图片，其中部分图片的内容完全相同，但文件名各不相同。我需要批量为这些 PNG 添加圆角和描边效果。 当我一次性全选并拖入这些图片时，出现了一个问题：所有内容相同的图片在导入后都会被 Figma 强制改成相同的文件名。例如，原本的文件名是 a1.png、a2.png、a3.png、a4.png，但导入后它们的文件名全部变成了 a1.png。 我想知道是否有办法避免这种强制改名的情况。因为我需要这些文件名保持不变。

I removed the unassigned drafts from a user that was previously on the team. Can I restore these files?

Hi, I accidentally removed the “unassigned drafts” from a team member that left the company. I removed them from the “content” section in the admin panel. We later restored their profile, but the files are still not there. Is there a way to restore these files? Thank you!

Distribute Vertical and Horizontal Spacing not working

Trying to use the 'distribute horizontal (and vertical) spacing' option for points on a line so the points will be equally spaced out on a line but it doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know why?

Copying layers doesn't work

To copy a fill layer, I need to:Select an object Click on the fill layer - it will be highlighted in gray Click again on the object - the highlighted fill layer will now be highlighted in blue, and now it is really selected and can be copied/cut, etc.It used to work fine before (old UI), but now it behaves like this. I thought the copying function was broken. Is this the intended behavior? Linux Mint 21.3, Firefox 142

Fixed in place sticky element not showing on iOS phone

Hi Figma support, I have an urgent issue to ask: Figma could not display a sticky bottom bar when I used “Fixed in place” ,absolute positioning and set my prototype to iphone 13 setting. The sticky bottom bar does not even appear on iOS iphone 13!! I’ve tried using Last on top and First on top canvas stacking. Both only works on android device but not on iOS device on mobile in prototype mode!! I read that iOS mobile browser dun accept positioning of Figma! How can I overcome it?

[BUG] Lock Aspect Ratio + Responsive Prototype View

Hi,When creating a webpage, adding images with Aspect Ratio Lock enabled, applying them to ‘fill’ the container they are in, then previewing the prototype in Responsive View (Z) cuts off the bottom half of the prototype. Steps to reproduce:Create a new webpage design in Figma. Example: 1920 wide Add images with Aspect Ratio Lock enabled. Set the images to Fill the container they are placed in. Preview the prototype and swap to Responsive View (Z shortcut)  Expected Result:The full prototype should display correctly in responsive view. Actual Result:The bottom half of the prototype is cut off in responsive view. Notes:I am on a Mac Studio Display (2560px wide) + the main frame is 1920px wide. This issue appears to happen consistently when the frame is smaller than the resolution it’s being scaled to in Responsive View. (1920px frame scaling up to 2560px) Moving the browser width inwards allows more of the full website to show. I use responsive images daily, and my current work around is

Unable to copy marked text in the css box

After pressing the copy command (on my iOS, e.g. cmd + c, having Figma open in Firefox) while having marked some specific part in the code view css text box, the clipboard remains empty or rather *is emptied*, if before there was something in it. The quick-copy buttons work as expected, but not always do I want to copy the whole code, but only certain values or texts. e.g. I would only mark “var(--Typography-Bold, 600)” in the following text and press CMD + C, but it won’t copy. I always have to use the quick-copy buttons and paste it somewhere, then cut out the not needed rest.overflow: hidden;color: var(--Font, #ffffff);text-overflow: ellipsis;font-style: normal;font-weight: var(--Typography-Bold, 600);line-height: var(--Typography-Line-Height, 16px);

Why is Make publishing old versions of my code

I have been working on a Make app for a few hours and finally went to publish it (in-app preview looking great). The published version is like 7 iterations of UI ago. I can not refresh it, unpublish/republish, etc.. to get it to the new components to render. WTAF? Any ideas? This is the published site: https://gong-legal-53674856.figma.site/ This is what it’s supposed to look like (preview mode). Its a game for my daughter. Help!

Fit-width not working on prototypes

My company launches a lot of user tests on a weekly basis and we are running into a lot of problems with scaling. If a user tester has a 4k screen, and our designs are in 1440, the user tester will see massive black bars on each side of their screen. We normally use “fit-width” to have the design stretch according to the user’s screen but it does not seem to work. When we create our prototypes in Axure, we do not have this issue as the Axure scaling will properly make the design fit the user’s screen. In the screenshot below, the design was 1440 and it also had the correct height on the artboard/frame to ensure that scaling would work. The end result was massive black bars when using a 4k screen. Is there a way to resolve this issue, or does Figma scaling not actually scale anything beyond the actual width of the design?

I was charged $192, but I have no idea what this expense entails from Figma. I pay Figma $15 a month for my subscription, but I have not signed up for any other subscriptions or memberships. What would $192 cover with regard to Figma? Do you know why I would be charged this amount?

Problems with payment and billing address

Hey,I wanted to upgrade my plan to a Professional plan, but I constantly ran into this problem with the billing address and telling me that my country does not support the currency.I filled in the credit card details and my billing address correctly. For context purposes, I live in the netherlands and pay in euros like everyone else and my credit card details are correct. I re-tried it multiple times. I find it weird to come along such a problem. Could I get help with this?

Figma Site Bug ⚠️ Changing Make components creates endless vertical growth

Hi, since a few days I cannot edit any Sites sections that contain Make components.Any change results in endless vertical growth of the section it’s contained in (see screenshot attached). This is the case even if it’s just a manual text change within the Make code component.I was hoping that it was a one time thing, but it keeps happening to any part of the page across several files that contain a Make component. I can consistently reproduce it.Eventually, it leads to the site crashing and my only option to resolve the issue is to reset a previous page before changes in version history, not allowing me to make any changes to Make code embeds.I haven’t received any error message for this yet. I’ve observed that a notification appears that prompts me to reconnect layers (see image below), but that doesn’t fix the issue. In fact, the section just keeps growing or it resets and starts growing from the original size. I’ve followed the troubleshooting checklist as well and no changes to the

URGENT : Project with many files missing

Hi everyone, Please i need help, i was invited to team named Figma Learners ( Edu Plan ) i had all my projects on it. Today i saw that i wasnt able to access to my files, because i wasnt on the team anymore, so i asked to be on the team again, they re-invite me again, but i didnt found my projects, nothing in trash and nothing in drafts and nothing on projects... Turn off all Dev Mode notifcations

Sometimes I use dev mode links to look through people’s files. For every file I viewed I get notifications when something is marked as Ready for dev.And it also bloats my mail withFrame 2087324273 is ready for dev in Draft | You're subscribed because you viewed this file in Dev Mode.Kinda tired to unsubscribe from every single file. Why there’s no option to opt off every dev mode updates in settings? Figma notifications settings

Can’t Edit Text Layers Anywhere in Figma—Not Component, Not Locked, Tried Everything

Hey all,I’m suddenly unable to edit any text layers in Figma, across all files, pages, and even brand new files—affecting both my main and secondary accounts.What’s happening: Double-click and “Enter” don’t let me edit text—not in place, not in the side panel. Typography controls (font, size, etc.) are greyed out for every text layer I select. I can move/resize elements, change color, and create new shapes just fine. This started suddenly, across both Figma browser and desktop app. What I’ve already tried: Checked layer is NOT locked, not a component, and not a nested/grouped selection. Checked on different pages, old files, new files—issue persists everywhere. Created a totally new Figma file—still can’t edit any text, not even “Inter” font. How to disable 'Keyboard pick selection activated' and 'Keyboard box selection activated' mode

Hi! Has the canvas panning keyboard shortcuts changed recently? I use Ctrl+Space+scroll wheel to pan and zoom the canvas but now that keyboard shortcut puts me into a Keyboard picking mode. Is this new? It really gets in the way of working.

Does anybody know how to delete a property in figma web on ipad? When using my Macbook, I can simply use the command+c shortcut to delete anything but since my ipad does not have it, what should I do? This applies to copy and paste, duplicate, etc.

Dark mode: Bug + Workflow question

I have Foundation, Alias and Mapped collections in my Variables panel. I have Light and Dark mode for all collections. For dark mode Alias, they can have Foundation dark mode as source. Dark mode Mapped can have dark mode Alias as source. 1 Strange workflowWhat I find.. is that when I want to pick a dark mode Foundation or dark mode Alias colour for my dark mode Mapped set… They are not available. I have to select a layer in my artboard, that is set to using dark mode… → Then I will have the dark mode colours available for selection inside my Variables panel. This is a very convoluted and cumbersome workflow for setting the dark mode colours that I want to use. Question 1 : Is this an intended workflow from Figma? Fallback font problem. Arabic semibold is not redndering.

Hey. When using Arabic, fonts that lack Arabic support fall back to Noto Sans. Today I ran into an issue where the fallback does not render the Semibold weight for Arabic. If I select Noto Sans Arabic directly, everything renders correctly.

Figma stopped displaying arabic text in semibold weight

Hello, recently I’ve been dealing with this issue. Arabic font doesn’t display in semibold weight (only), I tried using other fonts but the problem still remains. I’ve tried “Regenerate all instances” actions, it did’nt work. Can it be new update issue? Can’t get my head around this, please help.
