Version History stopped appearing in Figma Make

I’ve been using Figma Make for a while and almost crossed 650+ versions. Now, whenever I input a prompt, the prompt is working on the file, but version history is not showing. “Reasoning” is the status which is visible, nothing other than that. Now I can’t do a undo to my previous versions.

Thanks Junko. I created a copy and within two prompts, the issue got fixed. I happen

I understand you're experiencing an issue in Figma Make where only 'Reasoning' appears after you input a prompt, preventing you from undoing to previous versions.

 

To cover the basics, could you please try a few things?

  • Click "Refresh preview" at the top left of the preview to see if it starts working again.

  • Try refreshing the page and then prompting the model again. You could also duplicate your Figma Make file and try prompting in the copy.

I’ve encountered the same issue numerous times, not being able to rollback, and lost days of work. ​@Viswakanth S How did you fix it?
