Unable to drag-n-drop variables

I face the same issue 😥

Since the last update I cannot drag & drop variables inside the variables panel anymore. I already restarted Figma but it didn’t help.

Does anyone else encounter the same problem?

I use a Mac (intel basel iMac, MacOS 15.5).

Our engineering team has deployed a fix for this issue. You should now be able to reorder variables by dragging and dropping as expected. Please refresh your tab or restart the app to see the change.

Hi! I’m on Figma Gov and am facing the same issue. Has a fix been pushed out to us Gov folks? It’s still broken for me! 😶

I understand you're still facing the issue with dragging and dropping variables in the variables panel.

Could you please double-check by refreshing your Figma browser tab or restarting the desktop app?
If you're still experiencing the same issue after that, to allow our team to investigate this further, could you please submit a bug report directly from your Figma account using the email address associated with Figma for Government?
