If I change the icon in a button and then change the state of a button from default to hover, the icon color does NOT change. (works fine if you don’t change the icon)I’m using stroke icons, and the scope settings in the color variable is set up to handle stroke. i have been using figma make for my recent project, i have used it around 2 days . but now when i send a prompt it throws an error “ something went wrong try agin after some time” i have tried duplicating the file and waited for more time still the issue persist note: ( i am facing this issue after 2 days of usage it mean i have made around 300 prompts and more)

I simply drag and drop a component to inside of another component but didn’t work. I can’t add component as a child element to another component.

My Figma app updated and the new layers UI has become unusable for me. I rely heavily on the previous layer icons to know what is a frame vs a group vs autolayout vs a component. The images in the layers panel is not useful to me. Is there a way to restore the old icons in the layers panel?

I’m trying to use Figma Buzz to create some templates. We have an icon library that uses a swap instance property within the component to swap out the icon as well as a property to define the size of the icon. As you can see in the image, it is only showing that first property of size of the icon and doesn’t let me switch out the actual icon with the instance swap. Is this a bug or limitation? If I click one more time it does show me my nested instance property where I can turn on the fill of the icon, but I don’t see how to access all the icons through the instance swap property we have on the component. This image shows the replacements it’s offering me, which is to only change the size of the icon. This image shows our original component we have size properties to define the size of the icon, and then an instance swap to choose the actual icon. Are we doing this wrong for this to be useful in Figma Buzz. Why can’t we see this other property in Figma Buzz?

It just disappeared completely and when I tried to access it through a past link, I am getting the following message: You can’t access this resource Contact the owner, an admin, or support for assistance. Hi, I’ve placed a component with a variant (an expanded dropdown on click) within another component (a form). When I place an instance of my ‘form’ component into a frame the dropdown variant doesn't prototype correctly, it appears all squashed/distorted. Does anyone know why a component would stop working once it’s nested within another component? Thank you

Hi everyone, I used to copy an image (Ctrl+C from browser or local folder) and then paste it (Ctrl+V) directly into an image component in Figma - like for cards or avatar images - and it would automatically replace the image. But recently, this no longer works. When I try pasting, nothing happens. Now Figma only shows options like “Upload from computer” or “Make an image” (screenshot attached). I’m wondering: is this a recent change or bug in Figma?Is there still a way to paste an image directly into a component without having to upload it manually? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I have created a dropdown component with variables where i select option and it update the text in field. But the problem is that when i am using this component in other file and the option text changed then it is not changing the option text when i am opening the dropdown it is showing the basic value that was set in base component open state.In component i set local variable for label (Variable: SelectOption)For each option in dropdown options i set variable option1, option2 and so on Now in other file i am using that component and create some local variables for select option and options in list. I detach the variable and assign new local variables. But when i am checking it in “Present” mode it is still showing me Option 1 and Option 2 in list Really need help here that how can i update the variables in other file to use the same functionality

I have some buttons that have a hover effect and in the prototype there is slight movement of the content. I checked the position of the content to be the same in both instances (default and hovered) in regards to the margins and in between items I applied a “while hovering” interaction with instant animation This also seems to happen in between separate screens of a prototype for text in a header component that doesn’t have animation applied or any other interaction. Anyone has any idea?

Hi all, As shown in the attached image, I'd like to rename the text boxes in the template so that, when I create a spreadsheet to merge data, the column headers match contextually. For example, instead of generic names like "Text 2" or "Text 3", I’d prefer to rename them to something more meaningful—such as “Name” and “Job Role”. Could anyone advise on the best way to do this? First of all, kudos to the Figma team for Sites, it’s an amazing product even in beta. I've been looking forward to Figma making this happen, an easy way to publish a website directly. I’ve been moving our website from Framer to Figma hoping to switch, however I encountered one issue: I have text styles with breakpoints for desktop, tablet and mobile. Everything looks good in the preview, however when I publish the site, styles use the values for the mobile breakpoints even on the desktop. Interestingly enough, if I resize the browser window to a smaller size and then back again, it works. So it looks like the first view is the one with the issue. At some point, I think it was working properly, but now this issue is back again. I can’t seem to see any correlations with anything else I’m doing. Anyone else experiencing something similar? Very low performance speed in Figma Make when the thread reaches large sizes (currently 230+ iterations). All actions in the chat area occur with a significant delay (typing, scrolling, etc.), making it impossible to work. However, the prototype itself works well within FM. Has anyone encountered this? Hi everyone, I'm currently taking over a large Figma project from another company, and I’ve run into a major issue with component linking. I’ll try to explain as clearly as possible: The previous team provided me with several Figma files: A working file A library file (which includes the UI kit, components, ...) A color styles file An icon file I uploaded all of these files into my company’s Figma workspace. Then I published the three system files (library, color styles, icons) so they act as design system libraries. After that, I opened the working file and added all three published libraries to it. The problem is: none of the components in the working file are connected to the published library. They appear as external components but not linked. Manually linking works correclty, but this project has over 100+ pages, so manually relinking everything isn’t realistic. My questions are: Am I missing a key step in the import or publishing process? Is there a way to get the working file to

I've tried...- Chrome, Firefox, Desktop App, and Copy and paste playground- Restarted Mac, Force quit Desktop and Browser- Turned off all Chrome extensions, Cleared cache and logins for a week- Searched Community and Documentation, followed suggestions to no avail- Followed the Troubleshooting checklist Can anyone help me with this?
