Renaming Layers in Figma Buzz

Hi all,

As shown in the attached image, I'd like to rename the text boxes in the template so that, when I create a spreadsheet to merge data, the column headers match contextually.

For example, instead of generic names like "Text 2" or "Text 3", I’d prefer to rename them to something more meaningful—such as “Name” and “Job Role”.

Could anyone advise on the best way to do this?

Thanks!

Found the answer for this.

In my initial screenshot I had the edit content button selected - which hides the layers panel.

Switch to Design Mode and then ensure edit content is deselected. This will reveal the layers panel in the bottom left. Layers can be renamed as normal in Figma by double clicking the layer name.
