Hi. I am following directions to Cmd-C an entire frame, then Cmd-V to my file, but only get the text.
I've tried...
- Chrome, Firefox, Desktop App, and Copy and paste playground
- Restarted Mac, Force quit Desktop and Browser
- Turned off all Chrome extensions, Cleared cache and logins for a week
- Searched Community and Documentation, followed suggestions to no avail
- Followed the Troubleshooting checklist
Can anyone help me with this?

We just tested this on the desktop app and in browser, and it is working as expected.
Are you attempting to copy + paste from within the same file or from another file into your file? Are you also able to send a screenshot of the frame you’re trying to copy + paste, including the left side’s Layers panel, so we can see that you’ve selected all of the layers within the frame?
With a little more context, we can try to figure out what happening together.
Hi. Thanks for your help! I’m trying to copy one of Codestich’s Figmas to my project file. Codestich is a library of html/css modules that are built in Figma and the Figma files are provided to copy/paste into our own file.
