Hello! Need some help solving this issue. Every time the app restarts, I need to go in an turn off ligatures for every new text field I create. It’s SUPER annoying. I NEVER want my s’s and t’s to be connected, but for some reason the default setting is that they are. How do I change this??

When this new feature came out it was fantastic! I managed to test it out on one file and it worked great. When I went back in though, I was no longer able to add any new pages and can now not add any new pages to FigJam files. My “Add Page” button is missing from the menu entirely. I can also not right click to duplicate the current page that I’m working on. Seems like a bug but let me know if it’s me.

Figma changed the toolbar to floating over work area. Personally, I hate this… please leave my canvas free. Anyone know how to revert to old toolbar menu?? thanks

Would be great to be able to apply different colors to the strokes. We can apply different width, why no apply different stroke colors? Now I have to next boxes to get the effect.

When you have multiples actions, let’s say onClick. For example, OnClick : Change variable 01 Change variable 02 ScrollTo (section) It’s impossible to select a section that is not in the list. This has been a persistent issue not the be able to reach all the blocs, but we could just drag the link arrow the the desired section (sometimes with more or less success). In the current context, it’s not (to my knowledge) possible to drag that arrow when you have a list of multiple action, making very difficult to use anchors. It still works but you have to set the anchor first, then add the other actions.

I use the Token Studio plugin to manage tokens and themes and it has the ability to create variables from their plugin. Whenever I make changes to the tokens in the plugin, I create the variables. Every variable set I’ve ever made is still in the list and confusing the designers. How do I delete variable modes from this menu? I tried the “detach deleted variables” already.

I seem to have found an issue where whether or not my design is set up as a component is impacting its nested button hover state in prototype mode. I’ve attached a screen recording in which you can see this happening. The top design is set as a component, and the nested button component inside of it is changing widths on hover. The bottom design however is detached and this is not happening. I will note that I did add a min-width to the button component in these examples.

We have a manual sequence to a component in our design system that is sorted, by hand, alphabetically. If I pull an instance of that component inside of that design system file, the list is sorted the same way. If I publish it and use it in any other file, the sorting is off. I’ve tried “Reset all changes”, reloading the file, restarting Figma, and so on. Any idea what’s going on?

Hello, I am reaching out because I am having trouble accessing a file that I created on Figma. I have tried several steps to resolve the issue, but I am still unable to access the file. I have to request access, but it’s my own file?? How do I solve this? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I notice a strange behaviour in the management of image colour profiles. Some images with a Display P3 colour profile are displayed correctly, while others are converted to sRGB. This is a big problem; I cannot understand the logic with which Figma handles the images.

All of a sudden when I opened Figma, all my projects are gone. Figma looks like fresh without any projects in it and I also got a mail that my mail address started a new Figma, as I’m starting Figma for the first time. Is there anyway to recover it?? It’s important!!

Can the service be configured to be accessible by users from only allowed IP ranges or alternatively through a site to site VPN?

Good morning, I am a teacher at an Italian public school. I work mainly with 13/16 year olds. In the “web and digital economy” course classes we also cover web graphics software. I would also like to teach students Figma. I have loved Figma since the first time I used it and it is perfect, so I was wondering how I can give my students the opportunity to use it without problems. Is it enough to just verify the school? I don’t need to create an organization, but only a student account for a few months, just enough time to learn the main functions of Figma. Thank you very much, Federico

I am using autolyout and variables to expand/contract rows to show and hide multiple (3-7) rows in an table layout. There is considerable lag when clicking on the row to change the variable to open. Is there something I could be doing differently? Is it the fact that there are nested components making this lag so much, and does anyone have a suggestion for another/better way to do this? Hi all, I have a prototype with few screens that are scrollable, each screen has buttons that scroll with content and also buttons that are fixed, like the back arrow and menu you see in the screenshot. After using the prototype for a while, the button hit are, for both fixed and scrollable buttons starts to move away from the buttons, as you can see in the screenshot. If I close the file and reopen it, everything works fine at first, but then it’s just a matter of time until this starts happening again. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

Sorry, I’m new to using external libraries so forgive me if I’m missing something. So I’m in one file with components. I tried to find the answer in the forums, but failed. I’m sure it’s in there somewhere, but there’s lots of publishing posts. I have a component in this library that doesn’t seem to want to update properly in a different file. When I click on it, its properties are out of date. If I select “go to master component”, it goes to the correct component in a different file. I don’t know if this is relevant: I see under the little book icon, that there are 66 changes in the file. I don’t actually see the problematic component there. I see a bunch of old components I haven’t touched in ages. So I hit “Publish” anyway. So after a couple minutes of chewing, I see a message at the bottom of the screen. “Successfully published library updates”. I see there’s still a blue dot on the book icon. I click it. It still tells me there are 66 changes in the file.

Hi, what might be the problem, when I can’t create an “Open overlay” -connection from objects to frames in my prototype? For example “On click, Navigate to” works perfectly, but when I try to change it to “Open overlay” (or if I try to create one from scratch), the Destination field shows “None”.

I’m looking for a way to set a variable on prototype start or onLoad? I know I can set the default value but there are some cases where I would like to add some logic onStart or onLoad. Does this functionality exist? Am I missing something?

I’ve an issue with a Layer Blur. I’ve made some components, scale them down as I needed then add a layer blur 20%. After some time I reopen the project and see that the blur is 85.5%. Like 4 times bigger value than expected.

since the last update, i noticed the eyedropper tool has been updated to this form. However it is extremely laggy. Every time i press “i” to pick a color i get annoyed by the mouse cursor moving like 3fps. Although it doesn’t affect the functionality, it is extremely annoying when in the flow of work. Please can anyone who has the same problem or knows how to fix it help me.

Hi, so I have this message in shown on top of my desktop app which is asking me to download the latest version of the Figma app. So I downloaded it and installed it but it shows this message: The application “Figma” can’t be opened. And now I can’t revert to the older version since the download link from Figma is the latest version that I can’t use.

My Figma account was hacked earlier today and the hacker is requesting bitcoin, 6k equivalent. Can Figma support help me get my files back? it’s all I have left after bankruptcy. I have sent a message to Figma support but no feedback yet, I have also change my password and while doing that, he deleted all the files making it difficult to recover anything back, including the team files and draft. Please, I need help. Could you help me?
