Good day. After the version update, the problem has recurred—the files have disappeared from Figma. The first time the issue arose was with the update on October 24, 2024. With the latest update, a significant portion has gone missing (approximately 15 files).

i found a bug on the effect slider. It happend when i want to use the slider to increase or decrease the amount of blur, or position of the effect, i cant do it using mouse slide like i usually do. I have no worries for this bug because i can still input the value using keyboard, but i think its a big problem for some other people. btw. i cant put attachment, so no img or video for better understanding 😭 Figma app version: idk, how to tell the ver, maybe 124.6.5 (written on the app.exe)

Hi, @community_support Yesterday i made changes in my account and disabled two-factor authentication. Now 2F authentication is enabled, but I still can’t publish a new release of the plugin. When I tried to publish it, I got the message Fix errors before publishing We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to publish this plugin What do I have to do to put a new version of the plugin on Figma again?

I’m trying to export some text into SVG, but the text also has some pretty thick borders on them, as well as a drop shadow. We are trying to figure out a way to display this text on a website without it being blurry or having the spiky effect on the stroke, so hence we’re trying to get an SVG. Unfortunately it seems only the stroke is being exported? Any way we can have the whole thing export together?

Hi! Does anyone knows where are personal access tokens located? Previously, this feature was located in the account settings. I’m afraid it was removed after the update.

Hi All, I’m trying to private-publish a new plugin, but get a warning asking to update the manifest.json with “documentAccess”: “dynamic-page” . is this mandatory now?

How to give the prototype link outside of the organization?

Trying to export a single (long) frame as a PDF (it’s a case study) but some of my images that have been brought in as PDFs are showing black lines around the edges. Is there a way to get rid of this? It looks untidy and unprofessional. These lines are not shown in the Figma file - only when exporting to PDF. note that this is not black boxes around links - I had come to learn of this problem while trying to search for a solution for my problem.

I hate Figma because of this, and I’m stopping using this software. A month ago, I purchased a product that cost $18. I used it for one day and canceled the subscription within a week. Today, I received a notification that Figma is trying to charge $18 from my account for the same plugin whose subscription I canceled a month ago. It even shows in Figma’s subscriptions section that it’s canceled, but the company continues to send payment requests to the bank. Because of this, I had to close my account and withdraw funds from my cards. This is outrageous. I have already initiated legal action regarding this issue. I hope everyone involved will be held accountable.

I have noticed that occasionally objects move on a frame when I copy it by using Alt+drag. At first I thought I had accidently moved things, but it kept happening. It’s not every time, so it’s hard to reproduce. Has anyone else seen this?

Guys, there is a problem with images on mobile while using the mirror mode. Images don’t appear on devices. I’ve tested several phones. Please, help. Figma – 21 Nov 24

Hi, not sure how to figure this one out. I have a circle that I want to expand on hover, but when I increase the size in the direction I want, it does not go in that direction. I know it’s possible as I’ve seen similar stuff and it’s a pretty basic interaction, such as expanding circles for heart/favourite micro-interactions. Any help would be appreciated 🙂

I removed Figma from my automatic login list in the system settings of my Mac. It just now decided to ADD ITSELF, WITHOUT PERMISSION when I haven’t opened it in days. I need an explanation for this absurd activity and instructions for making sure this doesn’t happen again. My computer is working on extremely time consuming 3D rendering operations and I cannot have some application I never use deciding to log itself into the background. Frankly I can’t believe I even have to bring this up.

I’ve mentioned two images of two frames, what I actually want is that the 1st frame to appear to when the app is opened and the UI of the second app to be visible when the screen is scrolled. Basically you’ll see a side panel that is what I want to be visible when the screen is scrolled down, Could someone please help me?

Hello, Figma team and community, I’m feeling quite disappointed with the recent update released on November 10th, which introduced the new interface. While the redesign looks great, I noticed that the AI feature is still not available for me. I’ve seen several users already have access to it, and it’s frustrating not being able to use and test this exciting feature. This isn’t the first time updates have taken 1–2 months (or even longer) to roll out fully, and it’s disheartening to experience this delay repeatedly. I really hope Figma can improve the rollout process or at least provide clearer communication on when these features will be available to everyone. Thank you!

Hi! I’m new to Figma/UX/etc. and I’m wondering what the best way to do this is… Essentially, the goal is that when the Add Position Grouping button is pressed, a window appears, and the button moves below the new section. However, if the user clicks the X to delete the section that they’ve added, I need the button to reappear back where it was previously. This is the part I’m stuck on. I’m not sure if I’m overcomplicating things and missing something obvious. Any help is appreciated! 🙂

The fact that the default option in Figma is now that anyone can upgrade themselves into a paid seat without explicit approval from an administrator is completely outrageous and absolute bad practice. I am administrating our Figma team, in which I have currently three full-paid seats assigned to my colleagues. A few weeks ago, I received an email that a person outside of our organization has been upgraded to a full-paid seat; without anyone from our team having approved this. I restricted his access, but still had to pay the bill. Today, this happened again; apparently via the shared link to the board. Finally, I found the option to change the default into viewer-restricted seats. You guys have heard about dark patterns, right? Additionally (even though I am not an expert here), the fact that a person is not explicitly asked to approve a purchase is, as far as I know, against EU law. I have a component library of icons, the names all start with an emoji. Example: 📍zoom. When I was searching for it in another file, where this library was activated, there was no results when I searched “zoom”. I had to add the emoji to my search for it to show up. There are other icons that has - or _ in their names, the word after -/_ would work in search. Example: 📍zoom_out, and this icon showed up in the result when I searched “out”, but not “zoom”. Is this a bug?

I currently have a project in my Drafts under a guest account, and I need to transfer it to the admin account of a team so they can publish it as a shared library. Could you guide me on the steps to: Move the project from my Drafts to the team account. Ensure the components are properly set up for publishing as a library?
