Two key issues. The CSV download is just giving a total count and insert percentage. That is not helpful. Need to be able to download the granular data. Else why have the CSV download option, in the first place? Why filter only 30 ,60 90 days? We will be multiple sprints down by that time. Need a weekly and daily view as well.

I had a file I have been using for years. It was large with lots of images. I have just logged in and can’t find it. I don’t have much in Figma, so its very obvious its missing. There is nothing under trash. Last time I used the file for approx 3 weeks ago. I have no email from Figma, so nothing about errors or deletion or inactivitiy. The file is very very important to me due to the work gone in to it. I raised a ticket but due to my plan, it advises I seek support here. Can someone assist me, this is very frustrating and concerning. Thank you in advance.

Hi, is there a plugin or feature to auto re-export assets whenever there is a change to the asset? Photoshop has it with its generator feature and so does Affinity designer. Just curious as it would make it so much easier than manually reselecting every asset that has changed and redoing the export dance. Thanks!

Is there anyway to tell what plan does my company uses? Is there a way for 2 members to be on " Professinal " and the admins on " Enterprise " or " Organization " plans ? Or if the team is on professinal, then everyone is on professional ? Is there anyway to tell what plan are we on ? Thanks

I have two prototype iframes integrated into my application. Both are sending events to the parent window using postMessage. However, I am struggling to identify which iframe (or prototype) is the source of a specific event because the messages only contain information like node-id and event type. The issue is that event.source points to the iframe, but since the iframes are cross-origin, I can’t reliably distinguish which one is sending the message. How can I determine the source of these messages? Ideally, I’d like to map each message to its corresponding iframe or prototype. Any suggestions or best practices for handling this kind of situation?

Having a weird issue in one of my Figma files, that I think is likely caused by a collaborator missing fonts and I’m unsure how to fix it. Despite having the font installed whenever I select text in a file (any page) It is automatically updating to a different font. This occurred after inviting a few folks to jam on a file and they may have been missing the font. Since then, every text box is automatically updating the font to replace the one that was set, with the new one that was being used during the collab. Is there a default setting somewhere I can change to fix this?

When posting a visual created on Figma to Instagram, random white lines appear along the edges of the image, despite it being fully stretched within the frame. These lines are not visible in the preview of the image within Figma or on any pre-upload screens. However, they consistently show up after the image is posted to Instagram. I always export in PNG and have never had an issue like this before, so why is this happening?

Hello everyone. I trying Figma prototypes with variables but it is harder a bit. 😦 I have a question. I prepared a slider with 4 images switching. I set a variable for these four images for a button to switch from 1st to 2nd each time. but it does not switch from the 4th image to the 1st image, it jumps to the 2nd image. So it does not return to the beginning. Where am I making a mistake? How can i restart my prototype? how can i jumpt to the 4th (cannibal) to first image? Hi, my problem was the same like here: “Change Variant of a component from a different component” Change variant of a component from a different component @tank666 sent me a very helpful visual step by step video for this solution after i asked for that. BIG THANKS FOR THAT!!! So far, it works. But it don’t works with nested instances within a component. It seems that Figma has no solution for that at the moment. Is there a smart workaround to bind a variable in a nested instance within a component or to have the same effect to swap a state of different component? Best regards

Hi, I recently switched the color profile to Display P3 for the first time, just to try it out. Now, when I try to switch back, Figma won’t let me. It keeps reverting to Display P3 every time I attempt to change it. Could you help me with this?

Working on a project… and now it’s local libraries means both really local and the parent is also local? It seems added (a thumbnail in libraries) and yet I can’t choose it when placing an element for swap instance (an icon). I choose from local but I have no idea where the icon comes from (also, a dark icon on a dark background in dark UI is a mess). BTW is there yet a good way without plugin, to look for library conflicts meaning I don’t want some particular library used? I saw something like automatic change but it works like it wants… And what is “preferred”? How does it know which one is the preferred library? What an IDIOCY. What a nightmare, constant problems, constant lack of logic is Figma to work with OMGGGGGG… 20 years in design and I can’t freaking work out automatization in my work.

Hi, we are trying to develop a prototype for a Chatbot and want to run an usability test. Therefore we want to try to simulate the functionality as good as possible. I hoped that there might be a functionality to add new Components (i.e. new Chat Bubbles) if the user Clicks on the Input Field (of course it would not be functional but we imagine a behavior, where the user can choose between a few dialog options). We tried hiding the (pre-created) chat bubbles and showing them onclick, which works fine, but does not allow for looping (i.e. the user to return to a previous state of conversation) Does any of you know of a solution to this problem or do you maybe have any other suggestions what we could try?

As an admin I tried to make the project view-only but selected access as “Disabled”. Now even I can’t see the project. All files inside it are still available in the Recents. Is there any chance to revert this change? As usual, Figma support is silent.

I created a more complex variable system where the prototype simulates a card machine. However, on my local machine, all the variables are displayed and updated. When I share the project with other devices or people, some variables are not updated or displayed, which prevents my prototype from working properly. Could anyone help me with this issue? Could it be related to hardware or caching?

Is it possible to use variables to prototype multi-frame navigation in a prototype? What I seem to have found is that any interactions I apply to the full_screen instances suppress all interactions done in the main component. Prototyping Example.fig (30.4 KB)

We have recently moved our Business Plan from Professional to Organization. Now, we would like to move some files that are stored in local Free Teams into this Organization. While being an owner and admin of the teams respectively, when pressing “move file” on the file in the free plan, I do not get the option to move the file to any Team inside the Organization, but only to other Free Teams. I have stumbled upon this thread Moving projects from one organization to another which sounded like only Figma themselves can do this type of “migration”. So in the end, I am asking: Is it possible at all for me to move a file from a free team into an organization - without manual export/import? If not, I would request the following features: Please extend the documentation in this regard Please include this information as a prompt BEFORE one changes their plan from Professional to Organization, stating that one should move all local files into the team (if it is the Organization Plan that restr

Hi everyone, We have designed our sales deck in Figma and downloaded it with the plugin Super-PDF and then compressed with smallpdf.com. On my Mac it looks perfect in Google Chrome, Preview etc. However, there seem to be problems to open it on Windows in Adobe Acrobat Reader. First, on some pages Adobe shows the error "An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem. " Additionally, the layering does not seem to work correctly. Specifically, I have created a mockup of a phone screen with the iPhone frame laying on top of the phone screen to provide the border. This is correctly shown on my Mac but not Adobe. Looking forward to your ideas on how we could fix this or at least investigate reasons. Thank you!
