Title: Starter team locked despite being within all plan limitsMy Starter team is incorrectly marked as locked when I try to duplicate files from Figma Community.I have verified the following:- Figma Design files: 2/3- FigJam files: 0/3- Slides files: 0/3- Team folders: 1- No lock banner appears on my team page. All usage is within the Starter plan limits, but the destination is still marked as unavailable with the message "This plan is locked."I have already contacted Figma support and was directed to this forum.Could a Figma Support Specialist investigate why my team is locked and help restore my ability to duplicate Community files without upgrading?I have attached screenshots showing my plan usage, folder count, and the lock message. I'm unable to attach screenshots to this forum post. However, I have personally verified that my team has only one folder and 2 out of 3 Design files, with no FigJam or Slides files. There is no lock banner on my team page. Please investigate why my team i

I'm currently subscribed to the Figma Professional plan.According to Figma's official documentation, the Professional plan supports up to 10 custom domains shared between Figma Make and Figma Sites. However, my account is currently showing that I've reached the maximum custom domain limit even though I only have 2 active custom domains connected across my Figma Make and Figma Sites projects.I've already checked my existing and older projects and I don't have 10 domains connected.Could you please check the custom domain allocation/count for my Professional workspace and remove any stale or incorrectly counted domain assignments?Current active custom domains: 2Plan: ProfessionalExpected limit: 10This appears to be similar to other reports currently posted in the Figma Community. This is already my second comment. I had submitted one before and received a reply, but I’m unable to view it. Whenever I click on it, the website says the page doesn’t exist.

Color variable aliases were recently given the ability to define a new transparency value without detaching the actual color from the source variable. However, only the opacity can be set and even that’s only if the source color is solid, instead of allowing existing opacities to be offset. It would be really cool if that system could be extended to also allow modifying the other axes, not just the transparency. Since you can’t define a color with a hue and saturation but no lightness, adding this would also ripple out to the opacity by allowing offsets to the existing color’s opacity, instead of what currently happens where if the source is not solid, the feature gets disabled altogether. The use case for this is absolutely massive, letting you far more deeply align your color palette to a single source of truth. It strongly fits the ideals expressed by the recent “Control opacity at scale” feature. It further reaffirms the vision that Figma can be the gold standard for creating actuall

Hello Figma Support Team,I’m contacting you regarding an accidental change to the AI credits on my Figma account.I mistakenly increased the AI credit allocation to 5,000 credits, which resulted in an additional $60.00 monthly cost appearing on my upcoming invoice. I also see a $17.42 billing adjustment associated with the invoice. This change was made accidentally, and I would like to request that you please:Revert the AI credit allocation to its previous setting. Remove the additional $60.00 AI credits charge from my upcoming invoice. Review the $17.42 billing adjustment and reverse it if it is related to this accidental change. Restore my billing to the state it was in before the AI credit increase.I have attached a screenshot of the current invoice details for reference.I would really appreciate your help in correcting this before the invoice is finalized/charged.Thank you for your assistance.Best regards,Samira

Hello guys, i’ve upgrade my subscription Monthly to Annually and my question is : Do i need to cancel my monthly seat ?Managing Billing and subscription is so confusing; I need your help. Thanks for everyone who gonna answer.

It would be useful if Figma supported Force Click on MacBook trackpads as an alternative to double-clicking.For example, when working with components, layers, or other interactive elements:Regular click → Select the object Force Click → Perform a double-click actionThis would make better use of the pressure-sensitive input available on MacBook trackpads and could be especially useful for users who prefer trackpad-based workflows.

A few years ago there was a fix - The icon on the instance inherit color override, imposed by main component, when swaping icon or changing variant. Great!but… Problem If I modify the icon color on the main component - change color style or manually pick new one, doesn’t matter. The instance with swapped icon doesn’t notice the change! Steps to reproduce:Place an instance Swap the icon on instance Change variant's (main component) icon color Instance's icon color will remain not updatedNote: Of course, all layers properly named to keep the naming integrity. The example: Current, far from being perfect, workaround:If you change an instance to a different variant and change it back, the color will update. Obviously, a lot of effort when you have 15k instances of the modified badge. Use unique variable (semantic). Modify value but don’t touch the name! Sounds nice but be real, semantic naming for each element is an overkill for 80% of the products. Hated but still working - color overlay

Hi Figma Support Team,I sincerely request a refund for the additional seat charges that were unexpectedly billed due to accidental editor permissions assigned to users who did not actually use Figma. As a freelancer, I intended to have only one paid account for my own use. While sharing Figma files with clients or collaborators, some accounts were unintentionally given editor permissions instead of the intended view-only access level. As a result, additional seat charges appear to have been generated, even though those users did not actually use Figma. The most important point is that I am the only person using Figma on this account. The other people who were accidentally given editor access did not use Figma in practice, and I never intended to purchase or use additional paid editor seats.I tried to address this issue as soon as I noticed it, but at that time the additional charge did not appear to have been processed yet, and I misunderstood how the billing/refund process would work. Hello Figma Support,I am the owner of two Figma Design files, but both files are stuck in View only mode. The "View only" button is greyed out.My account appears as "owner" in the Share dialog.Affected files:- ProDesign. Обучение- Фирма "Уровень"The issue happens in both Figma Desktop and Chrome.I have already reset Figma and restarted the app.My Starter team has 1 folder, there is no "Locked" label or warning banner, and the Team folder contains only 2 files. The affected files appear in Recents but are not in Drafts or in the visible Team folder.Figma AI Support suggested that my editing seat or the underlying file location may be the problem.Could you please check my account's editing seat and the actual location of these files and restore my editing access?Thank you.

Hi! At Software Mansion, we've just released Pulsar for Figma, a plugin that lets you add haptics directly to your Figma designs. How does it work?  You can select a layer, attach a haptic preset, and preview it while you're working. If you want to see how it actually feels, you can connect your phone and play the pattern on a real device, using a free Pulsar app available for iOS and Android. The plugin includes 200+ presets, and you can search and filter them by name, tag, category, or platform. You can also share an interactive preview with your team and export the haptic pattern and implementation details for development. And if you need something custom, you can create your own pattern in Pulsar Studio and use it in the Figma plugin. We've been using it to keep haptics closer to the UI instead of having them live in a separate document or ticket. You can test the plugin for free for 14 days here: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1636329411590799509/pulsar-hapticsAnd if you want to

Figma’s file browser always resets the sorting to Last modified, even after I select Alphabetical. This happens when I refresh the page, reopen Figma, or navigate between folders. This makes it difficult to create and maintain an intentional folder structure. For example, our folders are numbered to communicate a clear hierarchy:01 Websites02 Campaigns03 Pitch decks04 BrainstormsThis structure only works when the folders are displayed alphabetically. When Figma automatically switches back to “Last modified,” the order changes whenever somebody edits something, and the carefully designed structure is lost. Please either: Remember the user’s most recently selected sorting option, or Add a setting that lets users choose a default sorting method. Ideally, the preference could be saved globally or individually for each folder, since different contexts may benefit from different sorting methods.

My project/files have disappeared. After my regular login, I only see a “no name” project and whiteboard which are empty. My original files are gone.If I use the shared links I created for collaboration, the system tells me that I do not have access rights, although I am the one who created the files and the system shows I am logged in with the right account. Upon requesting access, I get an email to exactly this account. Once I accept access, it will bring me again to my account where I can only see the “no name” projects. The file is not be found in drafts, folders or the trash bin. Please help me to get access to my original project again. Thanks a lot!

iam on a professional plan but when I try to connect domains now it tells me that I have reached the maximum limit, the limit is 10 domains as written on the website, but I only have 3 active connected domains, how come I have reached the limit?

Hi Figma Community Support Team,I submitted a support request last week (Request 2096129) but haven't received any reply. This is urgent for me, and I would really appreciate it if the team could review and process it as soon as possible. My account was suspended because Figma received a chargeback. However, I have never linked any payment method to my Figma account and have never purchased any Figma subscription. I have already verified my ownership of this account through your previous questions. This account contains important personal files that I need access to.Currently, I am waiting for Figma to provide the necessary link or further instructions to proceed, but I haven't received any updates.Could you please help me get this reviewed by the right team, or let me know what other information you need from me? I'm happy to provide details privately.Thank you.

I'm trying to change my email address in Figma. I originally signed up using Google SSO, then switched to email and password login. The Change email button appears in Settings > Account, and I receive the "Change your email address" email, but when I click Confirm Email in the email, I get the error: "Sorry, your link has expired or is malformed." I've tried multiple times with different email addresses but always get the same result.

Hello,I have a problem with verifying my education plan. I have send al the correct information towards SheerID. The first time they denied it so I sent in even more proof of me being a student, but they never send me an email after that.Today I received an email from Figma that my education plan will expire in 3 days, meanwhile I still didn't receive anything from SheerID regarding the matter.I then decided to do the verification protocol all over again, but again I have not received anything from SheerID after submitting my proof, so I am a bit lost. I would really like to be able to still use my figma account, since it has a lot of inportant files on it and I am a grad student in the creative sector so I will be needing it a lot! Hope this can be fixed in time :)

As you can see when we apply a Stroke weight to rectangles and frames the Stroke weight tokens display in dev mode. Wen applied to anything else it displays the pixel value. If the Design mode allows me to apply a token to an element I would expect for it to be visible in Dev mode

Figma, could you please fix this ASAP? It’s frustrating that we can assign tokens to stroke weights, but they aren’t displayed in Dev Mode. Also, where is this border-radius value coming from?

Summary: Allow edits to your local dictionary. Details: You can accidentally add a misspelled word to your local dictionary in Figma, but they don't give you as the user or their support / engineering team to remove it. That misspelled word will just never be spelled checked for you in your added misspelling again. Our engineering team has confirmed that it's not currently possible to remove words that have been added to your local dictionary. They have also confirmed that it's not yet on the road map but the team may address it in a quality week. Help article content: "Once a word has been added to your dictionary, it cannot be removed." is why I'm reaching out for help to get it removed.

Hello,We are trying to use a Figma Make prototype for user testing. Unfortunately, it is asking the folks we are testing with to create an account and sign in to view and use the prototype. This is too much friction for a testing session. Is there any way to share Figma Make prototypes with others without the need for them to log in?We’ve set share settings to “Anyone with password”, but they get an error screen after entering the password, unless they log into Figma.

Hi Figma Support Team,I'm trying to publish my plugin "WebCraft" but I'm blocked at the final publish step with this message: "We detected a change to your account details. Please contact support@figma.com to proceed."I recently enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) on my account.I have already sent an email to support@figma.com and submitted a request through the Help Center, but I only received automated replies and no human agent has followed up.Could a support specialist please check my account status and help unlock plugin publishing?Thank you.

Similar issues have been happening for a long time. Basically I start to randomly see things like a frame that was set to hug width suddenly become wider, or the content inside a layer suddenly shift.Sometimes it goes back to normal when I click into the layer. Sometimes clicking into it doesn’t help. Sometimes undo/redo fixes it, and sometimes even that doesn’t work. And I need to manually change it back. I never reported it before because I couldn’t figure out how to reliably reproduce the bug. But today I saw something even weirder, so I recorded a video. link here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1i2jXOSnPS3bkQPkFjjswPSZFPGhGpcov/view?usp=sharing My guess is this might be a regression from lots of recent feature releases. But honestly, when this keeps happening, it makes Figma feel less and less trustworthy. I really hope the team can look into it and fix them soon.

If anyone replaces the /deck with /slides, they are able to see the base slide file, which includes hidden slides and presenter notes.Has anyone figured out a way around this? I have been just duplicating then cleaning out the slides for now, but thats mad annoying to keep doing.Obviously, would be great for the Figma team to fix this by giving the presentation & the deck completely different IDs, or some sort of layer so that people can’t do this. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------For example, https://www.figma.com/deck/abcdefgReplace /deck with /slides to get https://www.figma.com/slides/abcdefgYou'll see it redirect to the slides file.
