Reject for recovery of my project and whiteboard

My project/files have disappeared. After my regular login, I only see a “no name” project and whiteboard which are empty. My original files are gone.

If I use the shared links I created for collaboration, the system tells me that I do not have access rights, although I am the one who created the files and the system shows I am logged in with the right account. Upon requesting access, I get an email to exactly this account. Once I accept access, it will bring me again to my account where I can only see the “no name” projects.

The file is not be found in drafts, folders or the trash bin.

Please help me to get access to my original project again. Thanks a lot!

Hey @gunnarpflanz , Celine from the Community Support team at Figma here 👋 Thanks for reaching out, and sorry to hear you’ve lost access to your files.

Since you’re signed in to the expected account but your previous file links now show that you don’t have access, our support team will need to take a closer look to locate the files and review their current permissions.

I’m going to create a support ticket on your behalf so our team can investigate this further. In the form, please share the URL(s) of the affected files, along with a screenshot of the error or access message you see when trying to open them. This will help our team locate the files and check the associated access and permissions.

In the meantime, we recommend:

  • Save the URLs of any affected files, as these will be helpful for our Support team.
  • Double-check that you’re logged in to the correct Figma account.
  • Confirm that any invitations to view or edit the files were accepted using that same account.
  • Check your Deleted files to see if you can locate the missing files there.

For reference, your support ticket is 2146183, sent to your email address: gxxxr.pxxz@gxxx.xe, please reply directly via your case as our support team is best equipped to take a closer look at it. (Our Community Support team cannot handle in the Forum due to security reasons) Thank you!

Update: It appears that the account initially used to sign in didn’t have access to the file, which explains the issue. I’m glad to see that our support agent has now helped resolve this for you!

As the issue has been resolved, I’ll go ahead and close the thread. Thank you!
