I have an URGENT issue. I cannot log into my figma account. It sends a text verification to my mobile number but the texts never arrive and I never get a code...

Hey Ben, Celine from the Community Support team at Figma here! Thanks for flagging this, and sorry to hear you’re having trouble logging in.

To protect your privacy, it’s best if you can change the account settings on your end to see if that helps. Many users are able to self-resolve this issue by trying the following:

  • Check all browsers and apps to see if you’re still logged into Figma: If you’re still logged in, you can remove 2FA from your Figma account settings. Please scroll down to the “Remove two-factor authentication” section in our article: Enable two-factor authentication (2FA).

  • If you can log in with Google: You can sign in with Google to bypass the 2FA process. Go to figma.com/login and select Continue with Google.
  • If your account’s 2FA code is generated by an app: Check the authentication app you used when setting up 2FA, such as Google Authenticator, Duo Mobile, or Authy. If you haven’t already, make sure the app is installed and up to date. You can find more information in our 2FA Help Center article.
  • If you’re having trouble accessing the authentication code within the app, please reach out to the app provider’s Support team.

If these steps don’t work and you’re still unable to access your account, please reach out directly to Figma Support for further investigation. To do that, go to the Support Hub / Click Start a chat / Type “Contact an agent, Account Issue verification code”.

(For your security, please don’t share any account or verification details publicly here, thank you!)
