When creating a presentation landing page with GIF files, the GIF animation in the prototype presentation mode starts to lag. The more GIF files in the frame, the more lag the animation experiences. It lags in all browsers (Opera, Chrome, Edge, Yandex Browser on Windows OS). On MacOS, it lags on some devices, but not on others. It started yesterday. This problem wasn't present before; GIF animation worked fine regardless of the number of GIF files in a single frame.

I have been experiencing unusual behavior in Figma for several days. When I use Spacebar + mouse to pan, the canvas moves unpredictably in different directions while the spacebar is pressed. Refreshing Figma temporarily resolves the issue, but the glitch reoccurs frequently. I am using Figma Web.

It’s the year 2023, and Figma still doesn’t have native table support. I just spent 30 minutes re-jigging all the “cells” in a four-row, six-column fake table because I had to delete one column, add another, add icons, and then manually re-fit/resize all the cells to get things to align properly. I can either fake a table row with a horizontal autolayout, or fake a table column with a vertical autolayout, but it’s still not a table. I want the ability to create a special frame called a Table, that: has an arbitrary number of columns and rows auto-resizes columns evenly based on content width has one or more Header / footer rows can scroll with overflow content (optional) has optional properties for hover / click states (cell, column or row) has optional properties for alternate-line shading can toggle columns or rows to hide as needed can merge or split cells as needed can set text alignment for a column (center, left, right, or currency / decimal) can set to automatically use monospa

It would be nice when a designer need to share a page in figma file, they can limit access to other pages for the gustes. So guests see only the specific page and can’t navigate to the other page within the Figma file. What do you think? Many thanks

One piece of feedback I've consistently run into as a designer is the separation between Figma files and FigJam files. While they're closely connected in the design process, they're treated as completely separate artifacts in the file structure. In practice, many designers use a single file as the source of truth for a project. Research, workshops, journey maps, IA exercises, brainstorming sessions, requirements, explorations, wireframes, design concepts, and final designs are all part of the same workflow. Today, that work often gets fragmented across multiple files, making it harder to find information, maintain context, and keep project history connected.I'd love to see an option where FigJam and Figma coexist within the same file structure. For example, when creating a new page, users could choose between:Design Page (Figma) Whiteboard Page (FigJam)Both page types would live within the same file, similar to how pages already exist today.Benefits could include:A single source of trut

I spend a lot of time undoing the automatic auto layout adjustments that Figma applies in order to maintain the existing layout structure. This is frustrating because I understand how all the resizing parameters work, and I only change the ones I want to change. But in an attempt to help me and retain the current layout, the UI changes parameters that were previously the way I wanted them. So while auto layout still saves me time, it also wastes my time by putting me in a position where I have to go through, layer by layer, undoing the auto-adjustments. (Usually changing a layer’s width or height from “fixed” back to “fill” or “hug”.) I understand some users may actually like this, and it’s hard to please everyone. I would be more than grateful for an option that allows me to disable this automatic behavior.

Hi everyone,Has anyone else experienced this? When I apply an Inside stroke to an Auto Layout frame that contains content (for example, a text layer), the frame size increases by the stroke width. For example:36 × 36 → 38 × 38 with a 1px Inside stroke 36 × 36 → 40 × 40 with a 2px Inside strokeI expected the frame dimensions to stay the same because the stroke is set to Inside.I'm using Figma Desktop on macOS.Is this a bug, a recent change in Figma's behavior, or is there a setting I'm missing? Thanks!

The ability to use your cursor to scrub/drag through percentage values (next to hex code input) on colour opacities has been removed, or is now broken.  This was a really useful feature, please can we have it back?

Hi Figma team!Today (September 25, 2026) I submitted my plugin HTML banner export (ID: 1685276805609473884) for Community review. It's important for me to get it published as soon as possible, so I'd really appreciate it if the review could be expedited. If anything is missing from my submission, please let me know and I'll fix it right away.Thank you!

Hi, in two weeks will be our annual plan renewal, but I changed the number of seats and I need an invoice for that upcoming bill. I didn’t find in invoices

As title,Steps of reproducing this bug:Create a section Rename it to any Chinese character (“測試 Testing” is used here) Copy as PNG/ export and view the image, you can see the section label are missing the Chinese charactersOn editor view:Result of copy as PNG:

Why is this menu here? Why can’t I close it? If it’s supposted to be there (it’s not), why can’t I move it?I want to work on the icon behind the menu, but after asking a completely useless agent for help I can’t even see the icon.

"Hi everyone, is anyone else experiencing the same issue as me? When I try to enable pay-as-you-go AI credit consumption for my Figma Make project, the budget slider is stuck at 200 and it's impossible to increase it. Thanks and have a great day!"

Issue with raster images. All Jpgs, PNGs and one .mp4 file appear correctly within the editor and internal preview but when viewing “Share” prototype link, the preview link loads with blanks — for any of those files. Vector assets appear fine. What is the issue? I have tried all of the following with clearing cache multiple times: copying / re-pasting the images re-uploading each image asset duplicating the file to try a new prototype link Clearing cache restarting testing in incognito and on mobile / different devices (same blanks appear)Seems to be an issue with the link itself / Figma server? Please advise.

Hello Figma Support TeamToday i find out that my account was deleted but i promise it wasn’t me, it might be mistake. All my important design files have disappeared, including work that took months to create and is critical to my career and ongoing projects. Please help me, it’s very important for me. My deleted account: [email redacted by forum moderator to remove PII]If it possible please restore my account bc it’s only 10 days left thank you!

I find managing template colors really difficult in Slides. I can’t easily organize, re-order, or rename them. I’ve found some ways to hack it but it feels really convoluted trying to provide color options in the templates I’m making. I think Slides is doing a really great job on most fronts and I love the product, but I find myself just using colors from other libraries because managing them within Slides is so confusing.

I encountered an issue where, immediately after deleting a Team, two important files that were in Drafts became inaccessible. There may be other affected files, but these are the two I noticed missing.I need to regain access to these files as quickly as possible. They are very important files containing ongoing work that took me a significant amount of time to create, and I urgently need them back. Please help me resolve this issue.

Hi,My daughter is 17 and just started a Communication and Multimedia Design program at a Dutch university of applied sciences. When she signs up for the Figma Education plan (higher education) with her school email, she gets a screen saying she must be 18.Figma's help center only says applicants must be old enough to consent themselves, and the Terms of Service mention 18+ only for Figma AI. Has anyone found an exception or workaround for under-18 higher education students, for example via the institution? Thanks!

I’m locked out of my Figma account because my university deactivated the student email address associated with it after I left school. I’m completely logged out of Figma, so I can no longer authenticate through Google or access the email address connected to the account. The account contains important design files that I urgently need access to. I have already submitted two Figma Support tickets, but I haven’t received a response yet. When I try to access the tickets, I’m unable to open/view them.I still know which student email address the account was registered under and can provide the full email address and any other information needed privately to Figma Support to verify ownership.Could a Figma Community team member please help escalate this to Support so that I can verify ownership and have the email address on my existing Figma account changed to my personal email? Thank you!

Hello! We cancelled our Professional plan and want to continue with the free Starter plan. Our team is currently locked because of a $20 overdue invoice. There are no new charges on our Billing page. Could you please review this invoice and help us unlock the team without renewing Professional?

Hi Figma team,I'd like to request a per-account option to disable the AI sparkle (✦) icon that appears when hovering over elements in the editor.Currently, the only way to turn off Figma AI features is at the team admin level, which requires admin access and affects all team members. There's no way for an individual user to opt out of the AI hover trigger on their own account. For users who don't use Figma AI, this icon adds visual noise to the editing experience and can interfere with the workflow — especially when working with dense layers or small elements, where the sparkle icon overlaps with other controls.Requested behavior: add a toggle in user account preferences (e.g. Account Settings → Editor preferences) to show/hide the AI sparkle icon on hover, independently from team-level AI settings.Thank you for considering this!

I don't use this account; I didn't have an active subscription, yet I was charged anyway. I only opened it once that month to transfer a file. Your system really shouldn't work this way. I request a full refund. I certainly didn't switch to the Professional plan—I don't need it.

SummaryIn a horizontal Auto Layout frame with two Fill children (layoutGrow: 1), when one child's min-width exceeds the equal share of available space, the layout engine fails to redistribute remaining space. [Reposting this since it’s been 8 months, it’s still an issue, and the original thread has been “closed for replies”]When exporting frames with gradients to PNG, you'll get semi-transparent pixels—even when all gradient stops are 100% opacity. This happens whether the gradient is applied directly to the frame or on a separate layer, as long as there's no solid fill behind it.  The attached Figma file includes four test frames. Visually, they appear identical, but only the fourth frame—with a solid fill behind the gradient—exports as fully opaque. You can verify this with a tool like: PNG transparency checker; the first three exports contain semi-transparent pixels. A workaround is to move the gradient to a separate layer, then apply a solid fill to the frame behind it, like the fourth frame in the attached file. This avoids the PNG transparency problem but adds unnecessary layer complexity.  Repro StepsCreate a new Figma Design file Add a frame With the frame selected, change its fill
