Since this week (updated figma), video fills in prototypes freeze on the first frame while the audio track plays. Safari, Chrome, and the desktop app, on three separate Apple Silicon Macs running macOS Tahoe 26.6.2, plus iOS. Same prototypes play normally on a Mac still on 26.3. Source files play fine as local mp4s (H.264). Disabling "hardware-accelerated video decode" in chrome://flags makes them play, so it looks like Figma's video stream vs Apple's decoder. 26.6.2 has been installed since Sep 1 and everything played until this week, so the change seems to be on Figma's side. Each frame is a single video fill, autoplay and loop on. Ticket #2147683 is in. Anyone else seeing this? (Possibly related to the Motion first-frame thread from June, though sounds different.)

A recent update moved the "make an image" prompt box onto the canvas, relocating it from its previous position above the toolbar. It's no longer possible to add frames or other images as references using the plus button that appears on hover. Additionally, a colleague of mine doesn't have the plus/attach button in the chatbox at all.

Feature request / UX issue: Persist folder sorting preferenceWhen I change the folder sorting from the default “Last modified” to “Alphabetical”, Figma immediately resets it when I enter a sub-folder — and again when I navigate back to the parent folder. The selected sorting preference should persist throughout folder navigation, rather than reverting to “Last modified” at every level. This is a small but surprisingly frustrating UX issue that seems like a relatively simple fix.

Recently I was unable to upload or add any images or file within my system to the figma make (Add images or files) option for further processing. If anyone knows any solution for this then please help me out!

Please, for the love of God, add a keyboard shortcut for superscripting and subscripting. When I copy legal text over from an outside source, the superscripted trademark and copyright symbols do not carry over as superscripted. It is tedious to have to redo this in Figma and open the menu every time instead of using a keyboard shortcut.

Why doesn’t autolayout support inline layout This kind of design of including rich text elements (spans), icons, emojis, chips, and images inside a block of text is becoming increasingly popular and seems like it would be straightforward to implement. Im currently contemplating building a Figma plugin that would split a text block into individual words, then wrap them in a ‘Wrap’ auto-layout frame. This way you could insert arbitrary elements inside the text. @Figma pls

Hello, it would be nice to have the option to insert floating components inside text (like Emojis). Use case would be for signs or infos in complex dashboards. Its a hustle to do this now manually and also set kind of boundingboxes to sync different heighs of text and component. Regards

There’s currently no way to wrap text around an object like an icon, spot illustration, or image. The only solution is to manually break the copy into 2 text boxes and add the second one underneath the icon. We had big plans for our design system to include scaled variants of components where text would need to wrap around icons and spot illustrations to save screen space. So not having this feature makes it hard to design for accessibility and see how components will scale. It’s a little tricky to get the line height right, and also means we can’t easily add scaled variants to our existing design system library. It’s also stopping us from creating a plugin where designers could stress test their designs with larger accessible fonts. Would be great if Figma could add this as a feature. Has anyone else had this issue? Is anyone using a plugin or workaround to help solve this?

When creating or editing an annotation, when you “Paste Over Selection” (⇧⌘V) it discards your edit, closes the annotation, and pastes the content on the canvas. I want it to paste the content into the annotation, as if I pressed the normal “Paste” (⌘V).What’s interesting, is that when creating/editing a comment, it at least prevents the paste from happening (it doesn’t paste anything nor close the comment), retaining your edit. That’s better, but why not just paste the text into the comment.I’m conditioned to use the “Paste Over Selection” (⇧⌘V), when pasting text, as usually it “pastes as plain text”, which is what I want most of the time.

I'm working in a Figma Make project and am currently unable to submit prompts to the AI agent - the request fails with the following error reference: srid_EEJM7ETC7SRQM52PPXRNVPRZZ(A related occurrence earlier today also produced srid_D79CXGWRPJS873PXJGW6VEHRJ, in case that's useful for correlating on your end.)What I was trying to do: Submit a text prompt to Figma Make's AI agent asking it to edit a few markdown spec files (/files/*.md) in the project - routine edits I'd been making successfully in the same project throughout the day. The prompt submission itself fails before the agent starts working.Steps to reproduce:Open the Figma Make project. Type a prompt into the AI chat input. Submit it. Submission fails with the srid_... error shown above.Environment:Browser/OS: [fill in - e.g. Chrome 12x on Windows 11] Time of occurrence: 2026-09-10, Additional notes:Reloading the page did not resolve it. This had been working normally in the same project earlier in the session, so it doesn'

Hi! On August 14, I purchased a Dev Seat and used it for a while. Before my subscription expired, I canceled the auto-renewal for the plan, but since September 14, attempts to charge my card have continued up until today. I even deleted my account on September 23 to stop this, but yesterday there was another attempt to charge my card. I have a couple of questions: 1. Why are you trying to charge an account that has ALREADY BEEN DELETED?; 2. Why are you trying to charge a canceled subscription?; 3. How can I completely delete my payment information from your system?

Hello,I would like to request a review and refund for a possible duplicate charge.I was charged $22.00 USD on September 2, 2026 for the billing period September 1, 2026 – October 1, 2026.I canceled my Professional plan on September 25, 2026, and my team was downgraded to the Starter plan on October 2, 2026.However, on October 2, 2026, I was charged an additional $27.87 USD. The receipt for this second charge also shows the billing period as September 1, 2026 – October 1, 2026.Could you please confirm why I was charged again for the same billing period? If this was an incorrect or duplicate charge, I would like to request a refund.I can provide the invoice IDs and receipts privately if needed.Thank you.

On Mac in the Figma desktop app, the Union keyboard shortcut (optio+shift+U) doesn't work when I'm in Motion mode. If I select multiple objects and press optio+shift+U, nothing happens. The shortcut works fine in Design mode and also works in Motion mode through the menu, so it seems to be a keyboard shortcut binding issue specific to Motion mode.

I want to refund the professional plan because i made a mistake when i didn’t choose the same team. I asked support team and received a ticket number #2166119.

Hello,I would like to cancel the automatic renewal of my Figma Professional subscription. My team is currently shown as a free Starter plan, but Figma is still attempting to charge me $22.00 USD for a Professional subscription. The payment has been declined, and I do not want the subscription to renew.Invoice ID: in_1UELmklvcqWR3dFDaqAv1OGQAmount: $22.00 USDCould you please confirm that my Professional subscription and automatic renewal have been canceled, and also let me know whether this outstanding invoice can be canceled or voided?I would also appreciate it if you could stop any further payment attempts for this invoice, if possible. Also, I would appreciate it if you could send your response to me by email as well.Thank you.

Hi, I’m not sure if this is new since the May update, but I wonder why “empty” (all elements hidden) Auto Layout Frames keep the size of the last hidden child (and I do not mean last in the list, but the last element to have been toggled out of view by the user), making them not-0px high even with nothing in them. See here a file with a Frame with three hidden rectangle: the Frame keeps the size of the last child rectangle to have been hidden. When adding a 0-px Frame to the AL frame, and toggling this 0-px Frame off last, the container goes 0-px. In my opinion, empty AL Frames should have a height of 0. What do you think?

Hi, there. I have logged 2 tickets 216410 and 2159456 tickets to get a bank letter from Figma so that we can make an international payment. I have not heard from anyone in 3 days. Please help?

Fix it Figma team

I’m trying to connect a custom MCP client directly to the Figma Remote MCP Server:https://mcp.figma.com/mcpI understand that Figma’s documentation currently says only clients listed in the MCP Catalog can connect.Could someone from Figma confirm:Is there currently a supported process for a custom MCP client to connect to the Remote MCP Server? If so, is any registration, approval, or specific Figma plan required? For a custom client requiring OAuth, should a Figma OAuth App Client ID/Client Secret be used, or does the Remote MCP Server use a different OAuth flow?I’m specifically asking about a custom MCP client connecting to Figma's Remote MCP Server, not creating a custom MCP connector inside Figma Make or Figma Agent. Thanks!

Hi Figma Support,I am currently enrolled at the National University of Singapore (NUS) as an exchange student and have a valid NUS student email and official enrollment documents.I am unable to complete the Figma Education verification because I receive “Verification Limit Exceeded.”I have already contacted SheerID twice. After reviewing my case, they told me that they are unable to verify my status, would not provide a specific reason, and would not offer further assistance. This issue is now seriously affecting my coursework because I need edit access to my team’s Figma Education workspace.Could someone from Figma Support please help escalate or review this case with the Education team? I can provide my SheerID case details privately if needed.Thank you.

I have a Figma file that has recently become extremely slow to load and work with. What’s strange is that when I duplicate the exact same file, the duplicated version loads normally without any issues. I initially suspected it might be related to memory usage, but when I checked, the file was only using around 16% of the available memory, so that doesn't seem to explain the behavior. One thing that stands out is the number of comments in the original file. I'm wondering if comments, comment history, or some other file-level metadata could be contributing to the performance issue. The comment heads do not show up at all on the original file and the comment sidebar doesn’t load at all. The number of open comments were around 140+. I cannot recall the total number of comments including the closed items.

Hi Figma Support Team,We have an outstanding (unpaid) invoice for our annual subscription renewals/seat additions, and we need to correct the total seat count before making the payment.Currently, the invoice states:Professional Full seats (annual): 20 Professional Dev seats (annual): 10 Professional Collab seats (annual): 0 However, this is incorrect for our current team size. We have already adjusted our member roles, and we strictly need the invoice to reflect the following amounts instead:Professional Full seats (annual): 12 Professional Dev seats (annual): 10 Professional Collab seats (annual): 0 Could you please update this pending invoice and reduce our Professional Full seats from 20 to 12? Once the corrected invoice is issued, we will process the payment immediately.Thank you for your assistance!

I recently changed my Figma plan from monthly billing to an annual plan. After switching to the annual plan, I checked my Billing → Invoices page and noticed an invoice labeled “Annual plan renewal” with a status of Paid, but the total amount shows $0.00.I’m a little confused about what this means. Could someone explain what this $0.00 annual renewal invoice means and whether my annual subscription is fully active?
