Hi community members ,am Emmanuel My computer crashed and was completely formatted(everything happened so fast} and I've lost access to all my login information including the email address I used for my Figma account. I have tried many things: Checked all my email accounts for Figma messages Looked through other devices (none available) Searched browser sync data and google activity (none found) What I remember: List of some of my project names month i logged in last My question: please has anyone dealt with this situation before? What's the best way to contact Figma support for account recovery when you don't know your email address? I know I need to contact support directly, but wanted to check if anyone has tips on what to do to get the account back as i cant remember the full email and information Figma typically needs for this type of recovery. Thanks in advance for any guidance!
I was cleaning up unused files in my Figma desktop app by leaving teams/projects that were no longer active. After removing these teams, when I tried reopening one of my personal files, I got a pop-up saying: "This is an unassigned draft file" Now it's telling me to 'ask any admin' - but I'm confused because I never shared this file with anyone! It's my personal file, so why would I need admin permission to access my own work?"

Hello Figma team. I’m currently under the education plan and I ended up upgrading a team organization which I’m part of (as admin, not the owner) by mistake. Can you please help me switch this specific organization team back to the starter/free plan as before? I intend to keep my education plan under my personal organization/projects, it’s just this one that I upgraded and I need to switch back to free plan. @ksn I’ve seen you helped other people with similar issues. Hi! After the last update Figma Make is completely unusable. It censors almost every request even with little droplet of frustration from user’s side. For example “what is it?????” or “Did you read what I asked you to do?” is unacceptable That is extremely annoying because the model is good in fixing errors by the feedback from user, even if it is extreme frustration. Moreover, I don’t understand initial reason for the censorship in the first place. Are we already protecting model’s feelings? What for?

So I’ve done everything properly steps and all created a menu with 4 buttons > applied auto layout > made it into a component > added a variant > named them as their states > prototyped as required > added the instance on to the screen and when finally presenting when I click the button it opens upside down. this has me so demotivated as I’m just beginning to learn Figma. Please help me creators.
Site The animation is broken, placements of elements are not correct. Also simple positions of elements - there is a weird different between what you see on the page (the working file) and the outcome when previewing it (play - presentation mode). Its obvious its not cooked enough. One thing for sure - at this stage, if thats the way its functioning, it looses all the advantage of designing in figma and just simply copying and pasting elements from a design file to the site page, which makes it no better than any other platform. I know its still soon to tell, but… quite annoying
Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with image fills in Figma — whenever I try to switch the Fill mode from “Fill” to “Crop”, it doesn’t work. The dropdown lets me click “Crop,” but it immediately switches back to “Fill,” and no crop handles appear on the canvas. Here’s what I’ve tried: Selected a regular rectangle and applied an image fill. Attempted to switch the Fill mode to “Crop” (doesn’t stick). Made sure I’m not inside a component instance or group. Checked for multiple fills — only one is applied. Tried in both the browser and the desktop app. Refreshed the browser and restarted Figma. Tried with a brand new file — same issue. This used to work fine before, so I’m not sure if it’s a bug, a corrupted setting, or something I’m missing. Has anyone faced this before? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Figma Buzz is currently in beta. For those who are using it for experimentation there is a bug that does not allow us to insert our project files within Figma Buzz dashboards. The bug only allows shows public files from the Figma community but does not show your own local files, making it impossible to import. Workaround: to make the choice menu appear to select our local content to use in the dashboards just close the “templates” window by clicking on the “X” and reopen it again. This will reset the “templates” side panel and reappear the submenu for choosing local files
