I understand you're trying to invite a free starter user to collaborate on your FigJam file, but they're unable to edit.

It sounds like the message in your sharing modal is suggesting that your team admin needs to upgrade the collaborator's seat type to allow them to edit the file. We recommend reaching out to the admin of the team that owns this file. You can refer to these guides:

• Make a seat request
• Approve or decline seat upgrade requests

Once the collaborator gets an Editor seat, what happens next depends on the team plan:

• If this file belongs to an Education team: The collaborator will need to manually verify their education status to continue editing the file. You can find details in this guide: Verify education status > Invite others to your team
• If this file belongs to a Professional team: A new Editor seat for the collaborator will be added to the team's subscription.  Manage seats in Figma
