When I click Edit in Figma, it will open a new figma page but without any generated content 😭Any suggestions? 

When importing an SVG file into Figma, text sized using pixel values renders correctly. However, any SVG text that is sized using ems (font-size: 0.8em;) is interpreted as 0.8 pixels instead of 12.8 pixels (assuming a 16px browser default font size). This makes all svg text look microscopic.So an SVG that renders correctly in the browser, will look like this (note the microscopic text):If I edit the svg file to convert the ems to pixels the I get the expected result:Figma should be converting the EM values into appropriate PX font sizes (e.g 1em = 16px), not treating 1em as 1px.I have included a sample SVG file that demonstrates the problem.

I’m having an issue with a branch. I created this branch from our library where we were updating out font in our text styles. I used a plugin to change all the text styles, and reviewed the branch and saw that everything looked 100% as expected. A few days later when I opened the branch again, many components that previously had text set to ‘hug’ now have text set to ‘fixed’ and it’s hard to find in some scenarios unless I manually tap into every text frame and check. This is the first time I’ve had this issue with a branch like this. As in other branches that I have, I can see all the same components with the correct fill/hug/fixed settings. I’m wondering if this is just due to how branches handle typography?

The latest update introduced grouped vector point editing via a bounding box, which is useful for transforms like rotate and scale. However, it unintentionally breaks a very common and fundamental vector-editing interaction.Previously, for example, when connecting two squares by their corners, I could enter edit mode, select the four points of one shape, and drag a (!) corner point directly onto the (!) corner point of another shape. This made precise alignment fast and predictable.After the update, vector points no longer act as drag anchors. The only way to move a shape in edit mode now is by dragging empty space inside the bounding box. As a result, even simple tasks—like aligning one line to another—become awkward, since you’re no longer interacting with the actual vector points themselves.This really slows down icon and graphic creation, where point-to-point interaction is a core part of the workflow. what are you doing？？？？Figma, tell me what’s this ?? In Edit mode, when I select all anchor points, I can’t drag the object by those selected points. Instead, it forces me into scaling/stretching. After mirroring the shape, I also can’t snap points together properly. This is seriously wrecking my user experience!!! Are you even running a staged rollout or beta testing? I don’t understand—please fix this feature or bug ASAP. I can’t take it anymore. Making icons is basically impossible like this!!!

I changed the Chat > To-do lists setting of an existing Make file from the default “Auto-start immediately” to “Ask to start” but the chat still starts making changes immediately. I have tried quitting Figma.

Hello Everyone!I’m using Figma Sites for my design portfolio and added horizontal scrolling to a frame. It works, but when I preview the site, a horizontal scrollbar shows up, and I want to hide it for a cleaner look.Here’s what I tried: Set the frame to horizontal scroll under overflow behavior Tried to look for an “On Drag” interaction to make it feel swipeable — but it’s not available Thought of using arrows + variants, but that’s a lot of work and not ideal Is there any way to hide the scrollbar in Figma Sites? Good morning,I’m getting a message on Figma that’s asking me to verify my student status. And I’m trying to do that. However, now I’m getting an error that says I’ve exceeded the intents for verification. Can you please help me on how I can verify myself? I contacted your support team and so far I haven’t been provided with a solution. How can I upload the corresponding documents?  

I am working with Figma for about 3 years and it is a wonderful software. Speed used to be awesome in the beginning. It changed after a while and now it is really a pain to open files, select frames and resize areas. It starts blocking my work. You read always “Empty the cache...” I did but no change. Please dear Figma team realize that there is a problem that needs your attention.

From this morning I’ve been unable to use variables, here’s what happens:On first load/reload of page Select Gap Dropdown Select Apply variable Variable list appears briefly then updates to “No variables available”It’s not happening with Colors and is the case on every file I’ve worked on this morning.All my variables should be available. Non are marked as “Hidden from publishing” and the scope is set to Gap. 

  I found a similar issue reported here already, but we’re still experiencing problems with using variables.When trying to apply text variable to a component, it shows ‘No variables available’. I’ve checked the library and it is connected to the file. The library is available too.   It’s not just me — the entire team is facing this issue when working with variables. We’ve already refreshed Figma, but nothing has helped.Could you please advise on how to fix this issue?

Figma Team,This is absolutely unacceptable. A payment was made from my credit card, without any authentication or prior notification. What’s even more shocking is that I never saved my card details on my account, yet the billing was processed automatically.This is a serious breach of data protection and financial security. What if I didn’t have sufficient funds? What if I didn’t want to make the payment? You cannot just charge users without consent—this is outright unethical and borderline fraudulent. This is completely unacceptable, especially since my card is not supposed to be saved with you. How did this even happen?I demand an immediate explanation and resolution. This level of negligence is beyond disappointing, and I expect a prompt response. I have already sent an email about this issue. Currently, when I make a local component inside of Figma Slides that contains a text layer, even though I can create a text property on the component itself, I cannot link the text contents from the text layer to its parent component. What I am trying to replicate (from Figma’s official Youtube channel)Note how in the text field, it reads “Today’s date”, the contents of the text layer nested in the component.​​​A closer look. What I see in Figma Slides (Design Mode)Selecting the text layer.Selecting the component.Note how I am able to create a text property on the component itself, but not reference that property in the component’s children. What I see inside of Figma Slides (Slide Mode)Selecting the text layer.Selecting the componnet. Conclusion I tried to be as thorough as possible 😭. Recently, in our presentations, everything got messed up: text, elements — everything overlapped.Of course, no one intentionally moved anything.Do you have any idea what could be causing this? 🥲 We reformatted everything afterward, but after some time, it happened again.

I created a template in Project A in Figma, which includes a main component and its linked instances that sync properly. However, when I copy this template to a new project, the main component and instances lose their link and no longer sync. This used to work fine before, but it stopped working recently. How can I fix this?

It seems a lot of people are having trouble with this, and looking through responses it seems I’ve hit a wall. I was prompted to verify my education status, to which I did successfully, but was then reprompted less than a week later, giving me the verification limit exceeded screen.  I contacted SheerID and they responded promptly stating:After reviewing our records, I see that your verification request was successfully processed on September 17, 2025. You’re all set, and there’s nothing further you need to do on your end, as your verification is complete. According to Figma's guidelines, you’re eligible to apply for this offer once every 335 days, and you can reapply for it again after this timeframe has passed. Hi, I am unable to publish my Figmake flow to community. Need to participate in Figma Makeathon on Contra and I have just an hour.I built the workflow on member account under organization (professional), it was not letting me publish it. Now I have transferred ownership to my personal account and still getting same error.

But i am not able to use Connect Code.I see error: “You do not have permission to view GitHub information for this file” and icon “Connect to GitHub” is disabled: My organization admin have this button. Hello. My AI Make has stopped working in my current project for no apparent reason. Every time I run a command, I get this message: “An error has occurred. Request ID: 3****************”Is there any explanation for this, please? I'm stuck.

Would be possible to display the variable mode value instead of its default value on the previews? Type size and line height values by the side of the type style nameOn my current project, the typography scale changes depending on the device size.I have set up 3 modes: Mobile, Tablet and Desktop. Using the Small type style as example. Its 12px on Mobile (default value), 13 on Tablet and 14 on Desktop.But when I use it inside a frame that is on the Desktop mode, it still displays the default value even though it is rendered correctly at 14px. Variable size value not updated to its modeIts a minor thing but every now and then when I need to double check something, I end up breaking the style link temporarily just to make sure its getting the right value.Just to be clear, the ideal behaviour for me is to every time we display a variable value, it should be aware of its mode.In the example below, it should display 14px as those are inside a frame on the Desktop mode.

However, one of my friends—who also has a free account—already has access to it.Could you please check if there is any issue with my account or if my account is not included in the rollout yet?
