Subject: Issue with Component Property Editing in the Insert DialogueDescription: I’ve encountered an inconsistency when using components in Figma, particularly when trying to edit their properties directly from the insert dialogue under the Assets panel. Here's the exact scenario: I created a button component using Auto Layout that contains an icon and text. I set up properties for this component to allow swapping the icon and editing the text. When I go to another page and attempt to insert an instance of this component from the Assets panel, I see the option to insert it. However, the insert dialogue does not offer me the ability to change the text or swap the icon directly before inserting the instance. After inserting the instance on the canvas, I can adjust the properties as expected, but my goal is to make these changes at the point of insertion. Steps to reproduce : Create a simple Figma plugin that listens to the "documentchange" event and logs the changes. Create a Figma node using figma.createNodeFromSvg(). Delete the created node (using “node.remove()”) and recreate it Press Undo (Cmd+Z / Ctrl+Z). Observe the console: the "documentchange" event no longer triggers after the undo action. + Error is logged (Internal Figma error: Unknown node type for node in getPublicNodeType) 

Hello Figma Support Team,We recently encountered an issue with our Figma subscription renewal. Our team initially had two seats, but shortly before the renewal date, one of our team members left the company. As a result, we had one assigned seat and one available seat.Yesterday, our annual subscription was automatically renewed for two seats, even though we only needed one. We did not intend to renew the second seat, and it has remained unused.Since the charge was processed less than 24 hours ago, we are requesting an urgent partial refund for the extra seat that we do not need. We kindly ask for your assistance in resolving this as soon as possible.Please let us know how we can proceed with this request. 

Has anyone else have both monthly and annual subscription on there account? I’m the only user so it can’t be for another seat. I’m being charged £16.80 (around $22USD) a month when I already paid £158.40 (around $204 USD) back in June Last year.  Your monthly subscription renews on March 25, 2025 and your annual subscription renews on June 25, 2025. We'll notify you beforehand. I’ve tried contacting support twice already over the last 2 months, but never had any reply (and yes, I’ve checked my spam folder). Thanks!

Hello, I’m experiencing as issue while trying to update a library in Figma. The publishing process almost completes but then gets stuck on the last 32 changes. I receive the following error: “Unable to publish 32 changes to the team library”.Could you please help me resolve this?Thank you!

I cant access my own design file which i had worked around 2-3 months ago.Is there any fix for this issue?

I was conducting a usability test using a Figma prototype. It was a remote session on teams, so I sent the link to the participant and they opened the prototype in Microsoft Edge. The prototype loaded, however the participant was not able to click on any of the interactive buttons, it just wouldn’t work. I think tried on Chrome and it was fine. Can some help me troubleshoot the issue with Edge?

I need to export the images as they are, unchanged.Please add option to disable “Image resampling" when exporting. For the whole project, for all experts in it by default. 

On desktop I usually zoom in/out fluidly using cmd/ctrl+scroll. I was disappointed to learn this combination is not working on the new iPad Pro Magic Keyboard. Everything else in the Figma browser app works great on iPad except this one thing, and it’s a huge part of my workflow! Pressing Ctrl/Cmd +/- to zoom each time is pretty annoying.  I see other posts asking for pinch zoom with trackpad, which is probably harder to implement on a iPad browser. Surely implementing Cmd+scroll can’t be that hard, can it?

So, I just received the Educational plan for Figma, and now have a team with Educational preferences. I e-mailed Figma in the past on how to create projects within the Educational plan, where students cannot see or edit each others work. They e-mailed me back that I could either create ‘invite-only’ projects or ‘view-only’ projects. (see step 4 picture:)However, I cannot seem to  get this option when creating a team (See picture below). I tried emailing again, but now I get the response that I only have a ‘starter account’ and can only contact through Community Support Forum, therefore I'm reaching out here :) Can someone help me with this? With the educational plan I should have the same options as the professional plan. However, I don't seem to get those.. So, is it not possible for me then? Or does anyone have another option on how the students can create projects within the educational team, that other students cannot see or edit these projects? Thanks in advance!

Your latest update broke images in a very important file and may have put a project in jeopardy. You forced this update on us. Now I have multiple broken image files that CANNOT be replaced. They appear as translucent rectangles that cannot be selected for more than a couple of seconds before disappearing. Too bad Adobe axed their offering. I am no longer an evangelist and feel forced to use your tool. Additionally, you uninstalled ALL of my plugins so as soon as another tool becomes adopted by the industry I am out. You cost me money.  I have been customer since you launched, but will not be the first chance I get. Hopefully Protopie or Framer catches on quicker.

i changed the color of the text which belongs to the table and color doesn’t change at all when it comes to the template colori think color style doesn’t work inside the tablethe color of the text only changes when it’s a raw color code, not a template-styled color.please help me , figma slide! 

When I try to put these stupid layers into other layers it just doesn’t want to go in for some stupid reason.

A big set of Unicode characters can be represented in both text (e.g. ↗︎) and emoji variants (e.g. ↗️). For example, the base character, Up-right arrow is \u2197 . To know which variant is supposed to be rendered, variation selectors are defined in the Unicode standard:↗️ = \u2197\ufe0f ↗︎ = \u2197\ufe0eFigma (and Figjam) however, do not respect this, instead the used variant is dependent on the used font, which isn't the expected behavior.This behavior of Figma is consistent in Chrome and Firefox on at least Linux and Android. This also is not a problem with the fonts itself.

I can’t seem to get access to UI3. I tried quitting and restarting. Checked for updates (it was updated). Yet, when I go to the helper, it says I’m on the latest version, with no option to update. Please help. Thank you! 

I’m using Figma on the web with an 11in iPad Pro M4. When I click the text styles button with a text box selected it appears to be impossible to actually apply one of the styles. It selects the menu item but it doesn’t actually apply it. I’ve tried this both with my finger and Apple Pencil.  

A very annoying problem, pretty sure it is either a bug, or something really dumb.When I click on a figma file (browsing from my computer), the file loads, everything seems to be fine (the layer panel is full, but nothing is displayed no matter what I do. I can even create a shape, it’ll be added in the layer panel but not displayed, even in visible mode.I cleared all my computer cache, still nothing.When I access the file from my phone (browser), with the same network, everything works fine and the design is displayed. I checked the log, I have errors that I don’t know how to solve.I don’t really know what I’m doing wrong… Any idea how to fix this? 

Hi,For the past two weeks, I’ve been experiencing high CPU usage while using Figma, leading to lag, freezes, and even Mac reboots (MacBook Air M1, 2020, 16GB, Ventura 13.1). The issue worsens when running prototypes.I’ve tried the following troubleshooting steps, but none have resolved the issue:Using Figma in a browser instead of the desktop app; Disconnecting my external monitor; Clearing the cache.Could you please investigate and provide any insights or solutions?Thanks!

My developer noticed that a set of color variables outputs a different hex code than is defined in the variables.The variables are defined as follows:Cream/100: #F8EEE2 Text/impact-inverse: cream/100 dev mode outputs Text/impact-inverse as #F9F0E6When I detach cream/100 from type/impact-inverse it displays the proper hex code (#F8EEE2). I don’t even have a guess as to what the issue might be. Attached are the screenshots he sent me to describe the issue. 

Hey there, I’m looking into a component in DevMode and I noticed that when opening the playground, if I change the variable mode, the fonts aren’t changing, like the colors for example.In design mode, by changing the variable it all works just fine.Is this a known issue, are there any solutions…? Thank you!

Last year, we had two Full Figma seats. However, later on last year, a user with Full Figma seat was removed from the team. It looks like we missed the announcement of the new billing model, so this year we have to pay for two Full Figma seats with one "Available" seat. This is very unexpected.Besides, after looking around in the Admin page, we can't seem to find anywhere we could adjust the number of Paid seats. Everywhere there's a "Manage" button, we're led back to the People page, where it's only information.We may need to contact Support for further assistant, but may I ask what the problem it is? Is it because we missed a note where we could select to keep the “Available" seat or not, or is there any misunderstanding?

When enabling the “resource use” tool available under the View menu in the tool bar when inside of a FigJam board, the resource use information is positioned behind the Figma FigJam UI in the top left corner by default. You can click and drag it to a different corner so you can actually read it, but by default, it seems to be in the top left corner behind the File Name/Pages UI.  

Previously when you’re viewing a Figma file as a viewer (so without edit permissions) you could hover over variables in the properties panel to view its (px) value. This seems to be broken now as there no longer is any hover state anymore. This means it’s a lot more difficult to figure out values such as corner radius when you’re not an editor.
