Component Instance Layout Sync Issue

Hi Figma Support Team,

I hope you're doing well. I'm reaching out to report a recurring issue I've been experiencing in Figma related to component instances and variants.

The problem occurs when I use components with variants: sometimes the text, spacing, or layout inside an instance does not match the master component, even though no overrides have been applied. The instance appears visually incorrect or misaligned. However, as soon as I click on the problematic element—or make a minimal interaction such as toggling a property—the instance suddenly snaps back into the correct layout and becomes fully aligned with the main component.

This behavior suggests that the layout or override system is not syncing properly until a manual interaction forces a recalculation. It happens inconsistently, but often enough to disrupt workflow, especially in large design systems.

Here are the key symptoms:
Instances display incorrect text alignment, spacing, or layout on initial load.
No overrides are applied, yet the instance differs from the main component.
A single click or minor interaction immediately fixes the layout.
The issue occurs across multiple files and components.
