When does the Figma MCP tool call limit reset?

Hi Figma Support,

I’m using a Starter account and have reached the Figma MCP tool call limit. The error message does not show when the limit will reset.

Could you please clarify:

  1. When does the MCP tool call limit reset?
  2. Is the reset daily, weekly, or monthly?
  3. Is there any way to purchase additional MCP calls without upgrading the entire workspace?
  4. Will creating a new file or project affect this limit?

      Unfortunately not at this time. The MCP tool call limit is tied to your plan, and the only way to get a higher limit is to upgrade to a paid plan. If you're on a Starter plan (6 tool calls per month), upgrade to a Pro, Organization, or Enterprise plan (with a Full or Dev seat) will provide a higher limit.

      4. Will creating a new file or project affect this limit?
      No, creating new files or projects won't reset or affect your limit. It's tied to your account, not to individual files.
