 if I try to reorder a collection, I am actually draging the variables window behind the popup.

I subscribed to the Professional plan because I want to use it individually, but I'm seeing a message that says the team is locked.I’ve already removed all previous members (2), so I’m not sure why this is happening. Could you please help me unlock the team or let me know what steps I need to take to resolve this?Thank you!

 My Education plan changed from free Professional to Starter. What should I do please?

I’ve had this issue a few times now. I can’t find anyone else with this issue in forums, but my team members see the same issue from their end. When I try to lower the opacity or fill, it either shows as 100% or 0%. In the frame above you can see what I’m going for, but in that one I just put a separate rectangle underneath everything else because I had no idea how to fix it.Any help on this would be greatly appreciated🕺

I want to make an animation where an user taps on an item, and it opens a slide-in with the item details like the pics I attached, but I don’t want the slide-in to come from the far edge of the screen, I want it to appear from the left of the “Order Details” frame.I tried making an open-overlay with move-in animation, but I can't figure out how to make it appear from anywhere other than the very edge.Also here’s a video of the problem with the prototype I made: Does anyone know how to solve this? I rejoined the project and found the comments missing. I have comments (even solved ones) enabled. They are not displayed only on the one project that I relaunched to. On the others, everything is working. I also checked on ios, macos and windows (app and site) and it didn't help. Where did the comments disappear to?

a fractional value appears in the height of an autolayer when there are more than 5 components in the autolayer. The components themselves do not have fractional values. Binding to the grid in the file is enabled. What can be the problem? 

For a long time, when pasting a Figma link in slack you would get a preview of the design project.It wasn’t great because even if you pasted a link to a specific frame in Figma, the preview in Slack displayed a preview of the entire project. So usually I ended up deleting the preview, because it was messy and pointless.Then! A miracle!Just the other day (week?) Figma link previews in Slack worked better, and displayed a preview of the specific frame, which made it 1000% more useful.Then! Tragedy.As quickly as it appeared, the entire Figma link preview feature in Slack has gone away (for me at least). I don’t think there’s any integration on the Slack side that could be missing or misconfigured, so my guess is there’s something different about what Figma returns when Slack queries the link.Are Slack link previews working for others?

Yesterday, as always, I went into the iconify plugin and it stopped displaying icons, only a white screen. I've been rebooting everything and it 's still a white screen , please help

I’ve been working on a project with a branch configuration of Figma.One pain is that branched components have to be merged so that they are usable throughout other branched designs… so I had to copy them “locally”. mainbranch1 (e.g. component1) branch2 (e.g. component2) branch3 (a design) branch4 (another design)so I had to copy component1 and component2 to branch3 and branch4. And then, when I merged branch1 and branch2, an even one change in the component in branch½ as compared to their copies in branch3 or 4 meant crashing the instances in branch3 or 4…Why is that so?Even if I add something tiny, shouldn’t the structure try to reflect the previous structure… and maybe propose something like - be careful - we have this and that in a different way - choose what to do now… and then e.g. you choose how a particular setting of an instance is reflected from the newly merged component? E.g. I have in branch1 an input and it has states like hover, etc.then I copy it to branch3 and 4 so that

I noticed a weird issue with subtraction masks (and others) in Figma. Some icons break the way the masks work at certain stroke thicknesses. What’s causing this?  

I was using the comments, annotations, and measurements for detailed feedback. It was very useful, but then when I found something!1. I had 2 frames; both Frame 1 & Frame 2 had the same design. And that’s a data table!2. I marked the height of the cell and header using the measurement tool in both frames.3. Then I deleted one measurement in Frame 2 by clicking on the measurement number.4. Suddenly Frame 1 got deleted along with the selected measurement number.5. I did Undo and tried the same thing again, but the same action (point 4) occurred.6. Then you know what? Frame 1 was selected too, along with the selected measurement number.7. But I didn’t do multi-select though??8. Problem: No matter what frame is selected, if you don’t notice the selection and click on any measurements to delete, it acts like there is a multi-select, and it deletes both the selected frame and measurement.9. Question: Is this a bug?

While doing prototype to my site the smart animate for one page is not taking any changes that I made instead It is doing It’s own animate, but the other pages are working with any changes I made.

I'm having trouble creating a presentation from a figjam using a figma slides template I created. Is this possible or I'm just doing it wrong?

i logged in last night to my figma account and i couldnt find any of my files or drafts. my plugins have all disapeared, inluding all my components, customized colors and styles. I have nothing on my account now. Everything i ever did on my account has all been wiped out. please what do i do? could this be a glitch?

Hello, we have a problem, the project has disappeared!We worked on a project with a partner. The project was temporarily on pause; the last time I saw it was 2 months ago. Today I came in and the project was gone, I wrote to the partner who provided me with the zhostup, he also doesn’t have it, we don’t know what to do!

figma  browser   I ran into a box-shadow and border problem. I implement a button component by CSS looking at figma design comp.I found the color of this button on figma (image on the left) is different from it on the browser (image on the right).It seems that the colors from the left edge are shadow, border, content background. However the colors on the browser are border, shadow, content background from left. Does this problem happen because of the rendering engine of figma? Or can I implement this button design in CSS somehow?

Put some regular horizontal text in a landscape auto layout frame. Let the frame be fixed dimensions. Let the text be W Fill and H Hug so it wraps responsively as the frame.Now create another fixed auto layout frame, but this time portrait. Copy the landscape text and paste it into the new portrait frame. Rotate the text 90 degrees.Now I dare you to try to get the text to behave responsively like it did before… filling out its “width” and hugging its “height”I have not been able to find any combination of settings or incantations to get this to work so I’m calling this a bug. Please either fix this or point out my lack of imagination by telling me how to accomplish this.

thanks for the fig buddy no one needed. or slides that no one needed (you can literally build a slide deck already in figma) You guys FIX SOME DAMN BUGS - if i could use profanity i would. just keep working on everything EXCEPT the tool we pay for…. JFC 

When a frame's height exceeds the visible screen area, its gradient background fill doesn't render correctly across the entire defined height of the frame specifically in the Prototype "Present" mode. In the Figma editor canvas, the gradient usually appears correct. However, when previewing, the gradient seems clipped or scaled as if only applied to the initially visible portion of the frame.Expected behavior (Present Mode): The gradient should render smoothly across the full defined height of the frame, matching the editor view, irrespective of the viewport size during presentation.Actual behavior (Present Mode): The gradient rendering is constrained or incorrectly scaled, seemingly limited by the viewport height, and doesn't cover the entire frame as defined and seen in the editor.Is anyone else experiencing this?Here’s an example: 

I Don't know if there's anyone facing this problem..plz somebody help me to rid of this. When i do a prototype and preview it on devices it always cut off the frame on the screen. Here are some pictures that shows the problem. Plz somebody help to fix this. 

Hi Figma community,I’m encountering a recurring issue when exporting presentations from Figma, and I’d appreciate any help or insights: When I try to export slides — whether individually or as a full presentation — some slides export just fine, but others come out completely blank, with no visible content. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:• Exporting in different formats (PNG, PDF, etc.)• Checking for hidden or locked layers• Moving the content into a new frame• Reviewing any effects, masks, or layer blending that might interfere Despite all of that, the problem persists with the same specific slides. Has anyone run into this before or knows what might be causing it?Could it be a bug? Something related to layer hierarchy, components, or applied styles? Any suggestions or workarounds would be much appreciated 🙏(Happy to share screenshots or file samples if helpful.) Thanks in advance!

I searched the forum and I couldn’t find any posts reporting this – I just started getting these prompts to “review these resources” emails from Figma. The problem is that they don’t seem to be rendering colors correctly for Dark Mode so I can’t read the texts for the resource names, see screenshot: The light mode version shows the file names as expected. Sidenote: it’s a bit awkward when there is zero padding in the bottom if I wanted to click the Manage your email notifications hyperlink I’m using the native Mac Mail client, dark mode on a Macbook Pro – OS Ventura version 13.5.2

I am stuck with a prototype bug that does not open overlays no matter what I do. Even a simple two box demo isn’t working!
