Report a Problem

Every time I export a raster image (png or jpeg), some of my shapes will get jumped pixels around the flat edges of the shape. It’s seemingly totally random, and the shapes are not on fractional pixels. This will happen to me on my PC but not my Mac, and does not seem to happen to coworkers exporting the same piece of artwork. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, changing all my export settings, resizing… not sure what’s going on here. Anyone else encountered this? 

I am trying to update a product name in the Value field in the interactions panel, and when I hold Shift down to capitalize the name, the entire panel hides while the shift key is held down. The panel comes right back when shift is released, but it prevents me from adjusting my value.

Hello,I' ve received invoice with from FIGMA with EU vat (EU372054390) but there is no country prefix. Does anyone know how to check VIES VAT number validation? FIGMA provide VAT number on invoices  with an EU prefix, meaning it likely has a number assigned in some European country. To settle the import of services from the EU we neeed to use the country prefix, as an intra-EU service purchase, or should remove the EU from the invoice and settle the VAT on services from outside the EU.

Clicking on “Rename layers” feature in a figma file causes that file to freeze for over 5 minutes. It’s not a computer problem as I have tried this on different computers. This would happen whether I select 1 layer or multiple. Same freeze and it wastes too much time.

As of Monday (so perhaps a release) cell padding guides / desktop have appeared on ALL of my figma files.  I don’t want them.  I also don’t want to have to do shift+g every time I open a file.  I also don’t want to have to remove 100+ guides on all my files.   How do you get rid of them and stop them from coming back

After removing bold/underline styles in our design system (due to the text style override update), we’ve noticed an issue: In a main component with a non-bold text style: Apply bold formatting and a text property. Create an instance. Changing text via the property panel resets bold formatting. However, editing text on the canvas preserves the bold weight. Is this bug being tracked or expected?

Hey, So I use a Figma edu pro account and have been using it for last 4 years of my undergrad, naturally I have a lot of files here. Well now recently I graduated and changed schools to join a grad school, I want to shift all my files from one edu pro account to another. Does anyone know how I can do this?Team transfer I am told doesn’t work with edu accounts, not sure though!

I’m unable to activate or access the AI features. I’ve been trying for the past 3 hours to edit the domain of a published website, but with no success. No metter the name I try, I always get the same error “invalid domain”.   

Figma app (on Windows PC) is switched and is not being used.I am a project manager and I use figma app on my pc and sometimes the web browser but i have seen this issue more on the app, if i am looking at a page at certain design and i switch to some other application and come back to it lets say after 10 minutes, it will load with new changes and it would switch to another page, can you please help me as in how to stop this from happening.I dont use the browser that much so not sure about it, but it is definitely happening in the app.

Hi. I had a file on my deleted drafts. I decided that I wanted it back and clicked on “Move file”. I moved it to one of my drafts on another Team workspace I have.After doing that, the file just dissapeared, as if it was deleted. I want to get it back since I didn’t want it deleted. Would love some help from Figma team on this. The file’s name was “Intangible” (I have another one called “Intangible Admin”, it’s not that one).

So our team builds our pages as components, so they can be used in flows, dev mode, etc and have one single source of truth (beats having to update a dozen screens when one change is made). As a result, I’ve noticed the following issue:I update something on the main component screen on another page, which propagates the changes throughout the document, including the page we use to house all of our dev handoff sections (one section per ticket) The change shows in the section (on another page in the same file), but the status of “ready for dev” doesn’t change from green to yellow, showing that something has indeed changed on that page.If I make a change directly (add a annotation, etc) to that section, then the flag will change from green to yellow, but making a change to the master component doesn’t trigger that flag.Could we have it to where ANY change that affects a section that’s been marked as ready for dev changes its status?Thanks!

I am trying to build a site with a accordion on it and expanding the whole accordion leads the content below the accordion to get pushed out of the viewport.I can’t set the page to height: hug or filland autolayout leads to the same behaviour as the page does not grow.Is this a preview problem or is this a figma-sites issue. 

Has anyone else had the problem with publishing a template where you click ‘Publish changes’, it shows the toast message on the bottom with how many total changes there are (and how many of those changes are published), then the last updated is supposedly published, but the button in the top right still says ‘Publish changes’ instead of ‘Use in new deck’?Then when I click the publish button again, there are 5-9 updates left to publish, and it goes through ‘publishing’ all of them ‘again’. And it only seems to actually be publishing one change each time I click the publish button.

Hey! I have paid for the Full Seat subscription of Figma Pro, and I intend to use my account to host 2 different websites.For the first website, all went smooth and I was able to change the subdomain to my preference.But for the second website, when I try to change the subdomain, I get a yellow text saying “Invalid domain”.I have no clue what’s going on. I contacted Figma’s AI chatbot and I tried all the troubleshooting methods that it told me, but nothing worked.Can someone please help me… 🙏

Hi, we’re currently working on our Make-a-thon submission and ran into an issue - we can’t continue working on the project. I’ve attached a screenshot of the error message, which says we’ve reached our current limit (full paid seat).Could you please advise what we should do?  This is unexpected behavior and results in ghost triggers in a prototype. I know we can turn off hints on click, but if there are some visible layers with triggers that we want to keep, it would end up being toggled off for all of them.Additionally, even if hints are turned off, you are still able to accidentally click the link, which is a problem.

Hello,I’m currently using the Figma Education Plan as a student enrolled at Coursera (also student in a spanish UX/UI online school) I received an email about verifying my educational status, as usual I select the “Bootcamp and Online program. But I don't have the option to self-verify on my end. I’ve this message : “Bootcamp students & educators: You cannot self-verify, you must be verified by your bootcamp. Please reach out to them directly with any questions.Bootcamp admins: To be added to Figma’s list of approved bootcamps, please apply here. Once you have been approved, you can verify your students.”But in my case is not a bootcamp but an Online Program. Students unable to get verified and I created a request to verify them. I have Educator access and my students are unable to verify as our college is not listed. I’ve created a project in Figma Sites and connected to my domain with DNS. In the file settings, I’ve made sure to uncheck the “Exclude from search engine results” option.However, after publishing, the noindex meta tag still appears in the site’s head when i try to do index in Google Console.
