Same as title! Now I am unable to remove the edu status for this account. When i try to reverify the student status for my original account, it says “Verification Limit ExceededWe're glad you're enthusiastic, but it looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer.”I have also submitted a ticket. Please help!

What's wrong with the website? The adaptation isn't working or it's broken, I can't figure out how to create a project on a phone, I don't understand anything, what's wrong with you? What's going on?

I am experiencing ongoing issues with the SheerID verification process for my student account. After submitting all required information, SheerID asks me to verify with a government ID. I have uploaded my passport multiple times, both in clear and high-quality images. However, every time I submit, I receive the same response:“We were unable to confirm your identity.”I also contacted SheerID Support directly and explained the issue through their form, but unfortunately, they have not provided a solution. The problem persists even though my documents are valid, clear, and up to date. This issue is preventing me from re-verifying my student account and accessing Figma Education benefits. Could you please review this case directly or provide me with an alternative way to verify my student status?

Dear Figma Support,I noticed an additional charge under "One-time charges and credits" after I mistakenly assigned a team member as an Editor, which triggered a paid seat. I immediately reverted them back to View-only, and the seat was never used.Since this was an unintentional action. I kindly request a cancellation or refund of the related charge. I understand that Figma charges automatically when a seat is upgraded, but I would greatly appreciate your understanding in this case.Thank you for your understanding and support.Best regards,Irfan Harianto

Our team is looking into it now. If refreshing the page doesn't work, check our status page for updates.”The issue persists even after refreshing, trying Incognito mode, and testing on another browser. Please confirm if this is a known issue on your side and advise on any immediate workarounds.

Hello,I’m trying to verify my student account, but after I submit my field of study and graduation date, the page keeps loading and never finishes. Could you please help me resolve this issue?Thank you!

I'm designing a platform with figma make, but when I press the correct error button, I keep thinking about the message "Thinking" and it won't shut down without fixing the error, and it won't work. The same goes for logging out and doing it again. What should I do?

Hello Figma Community & Education Team, I am a Computer Science student from Sudan. Due to the ongoing war, our university has suspended operations and we were displaced outside Sudan. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a current student card or portal access because the university has not yet set up an online system for us to continue our studies. I have been using Figma since 2020 and have spent over five years improving my design skills on the platform. The Education Plan has been essential to my learning journey. At this time, I cannot afford a paid plan, and losing access would be a huge setback. I kindly ask if the Figma Education Team could consider my situation and help me keep my Education Plan active. I am happy to provide my student number or any alternative proof of enrollment available. Thank you for your understanding and support.

I’ve been trying to verify my account for the Figma Education Plan for week and through Sheer ID I have submitted my school documents. But after I received ‘Get verified for Figma’ Email from Sheerid Verification, I’m stuck with this reviewing process. My Education plan is going to expire in a single day and because I’m in the middle of highly important project, this is very critical situation. I did not expect this process to take this long. I’m really not sure what else to do—any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated.

I am working on integrating Figma's API to automate certain tasks, specifically adding images into nodes within Figma files. The process involves using Make.com to send API requests to Figma to modify a node (for example, inserting an image into a rectangle).I am using Google Drive to upload the image generated from ChatGPT and then obtaining a URL to insert it into Figma. Could this be causing the issue, or is the problem related only to the API?I have successfully set up the API calls for retrieving file content and getting node information using the GET method, and I am able to retrieve the necessary data from Figma. However, when attempting to send a PATCH request to modify a node (inserting an image into a rectangle), I face an error.  The problem: Error 404 (Not Found): When attempting to use a PATCH request to modify the node by adding an image, I receive a 404 Not Found error. This occurs even though I can retrieve the file and node data via GET successfully. Possible Cause:

Lately when having a figma file open, that is comprised of several pages , I suddenly (or randomly) get a “Loading” state on the screen, that redirects me to the very first page of the figma file after a moment. That means the designs, I am working with, cannot be watched for the duration I would need to effectively work with figma.I enjoyed using Figma for a very long time, but this gets me incredibly frustrated, because it wastes so much of my time.

Hi I’m working in a Design System where I’m using an Icon button with what is called a Master icon (so the icon inherit the color from different states or modes). When using this icon button inside another. component is shown distorted, but very randomly I would say.  Here is an example, on the bottom is the base component of a File uploader component and the icon button with the bin looks fine, but when I take these base components into the main components (top one), it looks distorted. I assume this is a Figma bug, because sometimes happens, sometimes not and the button is done exactly in the same way as the other button component that shows Label + button. Is anyone having the same issues?

Hello, I am relatively new to Figma. I had my professor look at my settings and he is confused why my animations were not functioning. Our assignment required the Smart Animation setting called Bouncy. It was working fine for my classmates, they had the exact same settings as me. But it would just skip the animation for me. It will not function on default Smart Animation + Bouncy either. I had a strobe effect issue with some other animations that day, but I can make a separate post for that. I did this classwork on Fire Fox, Windows 10, Asus laptop.I was working on my homework and have been on my Fire Fox, Windows 10, Custom desktop PC. Same problem with bouncy. So I tried the desktop app and Microsoft Edge to see if the Figma app was just acting up with the latest Fire Fox update. Nope. Still struggling with the exact same problem. Which makes sense since this is a web app. Both my laptop and desktop have at minimum 32GB of RAM, with 3000 series cards, etc. This is not a performance i

I was charged 30 dollars for September, I didn't put any ticks, why do I charge money for something I didn't use and didn't want to use? My dev tariff is 15 dollars a month, why does it charge me 30?I want a refund!

As reported by the AI Agent: This matches what you see in the preview. However, when you download the code, you're getting a completely different structure with:his indicates that the download/export functionality is NOT exporting the current state of your code. Instead, it appears to be exporting either:An older cached version of your project A different version entirely The original template rather than your customized versionThe problem is NOT with your code - your code is correct as evidenced by the preview working properly. This is a platform bug where the export functionality is not synchronized with the live preview environment.Potential solutions:Try a hard refresh of the page and then download again Make a small change to trigger a save, then download Contact the platform support as this appears to be a technical issue with their export system Copy the code manually from the preview environment if neededThe discrepancy you've found is a clear indication that there's a disconnec

Hi Team,I've been working on a design using Figma and encountered an issue with code generation. The design process is working well overall, and the code generation (React + Typescript) was functioning correctly up to a certain version. However, I'm now experiencing a problem where:- The preview updates correctly according to my prompts- The generated code does not reflect these preview updates- There appears to be a disconnect between the latest preview and the corresponding code outputCould you please help investigate this issue? The code generation seems to be stuck on an earlier version despite the preview showing the current changes.Things I tried out - Refreshed the figma link in Chrome also tried accessing the code through windows desktop App but no Luck. Thanks for your assistance.

I have a line in an auto layout in Figma. The auto layout settings are all correct, however, the line displays (looks) like it's in the wrong spot visually, if that makes sense. The first screenshot (line in the middle of the text) is what it looks like when the issue is occurring. I go in, and all I do is move the line's position to a different spot in the layer stack, then I move it back to where it was before, and then it looks like how it's supposed to (second screenshot, line right above the buttons).Based on my research it seems that this is a known issue with Auto Layout (though I couldn’t find an official support ticket or anything I could reference for ways to fix the issue). I already cleared the cache in the Figma app and this keeps happening. It’s also frustrating because I’ll navigate to a different page in my Figma file and come back (after it was displaying in the correct place) and the divider line will be in the wrong spot again.Any tips or suggestions for fixing this

AI helped me make my email footer banner but I don’t know how I can edit it by myself.

Hi Figma Team,I’m reaching out regarding an issue we’re experiencing. My team had a shared file that was accidentally deleted, and we are unable to recover it. Fortunately, we have a local backup, but it isn’t up to date.Is there any possibility to restore the project with its latest version/history?Thank you so much for your help!Mili

While exporting to pptx, fonts change, alignement get mess up, rotations reset…Is there a way to make it work?

Hi,Our agency have been having the same issues, Figma is quickly becoming our central platform for creative work, but we still cannot export to .pptx or .key (from either Design or Slides) without significantly compromising formatting. This is our biggest challenge for wider adoption, as clients usually request editable decks. Please feel free to pass on my details to your support team as we would like to resolve this asap. ThanksMark

Hello,I am facing repeated issues with the Figma Education reverification process and need support from the Figma team or advice from others who may have faced this problem. I am from India and currently part of higher education. I was previously part of the Figma Education program, but now my account requires reverification. I tried multiple valid documents (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, College Student ID) but each attempt failed. I carefully followed all SheerID guidelines (flat dark surface, proper lighting, no glare/shadows, full frame, both sides of ID). I contacted SheerID Support, but they confirmed: They cannot manually verify IDs via email. The government ID check must be done only through the platform. This leaves me stuck — my documents are genuine, but the platform rejects them every time. I also hit the verification attempt limit, got it reset, and retried, but the outcome is always the same. I urgently need my Education account active before the end of t

Hello Figma team,I urgently need help with my Education Pro verification. It was mistakenly applied to my personal account instead of my Faculty account.  I already have an open ticket (#1513033) but no human response so far.  I am a faculty member at ENSAM (Higher Education, France), and my courses already started this week.  My faculty account will be downgraded in 5 days if this is not solved, which will block my teaching with students.  Please escalate this issue to a support agent and transfer EDU Pro to the correct account.Thank you very much for your urgent help,  Maria Daniela AP

I am trying to use the plugin between UX pilot and figma but when I try to add my desktop screens , it doesn’t work and just turns into a grey bar. The screens from UX Pilot, they’re “saved for figma” but it is not working. Any help?
