Hey @LewisTiffany — thanks for flagging this, and I’m sorry you’re running into trouble. Are you still seeing this error? I just checked, and Figma Make should be running normally.

Most connection error messages happen when there’s a brief network issue or unstable connection. Waiting a bit and trying again often resolves it. You can also find more context here: Troubleshoot in Figma Make → Error messages.

If it’s still happening, could you provide a bit more detail about your workflow?

  • Are you on the browser or desktop version — if using the Figma Desktop App, is it version 125.9.10 or later?
  • Can you share what types of prompts were you adding?
  • What exact steps lead up to the error message?

If it continues, we can take a closer look at the file itself. When you have a moment, please fill out this form and include:

  1. the link to this Forum thread for context
  2. the link to the affected file
  3. Can edit access for support-share@figma.com
  4. a short screen recording of the issue in action.

Thanks again for sharing — we’ll keep an eye out for your submission and follow up with next steps.
