I went to check, and things should be working as expected with the Figma Desktop App. To narrow things down a bit further, could you confirm the following:
- App version: What version of the Figma Desktop App are you running? Please make sure it’s updated to version 125.9.10 or later.
- Operating system: Does the same issue happen on another device or operating system? For example, if you try on a Mac, does the file open correctly?
- App reinstall: If your system was recently updated, try performing a fresh reinstall of the Figma Desktop App.
- Steps to reproduce: Could you share what happens right before the crash, and whether it affects all your Figma Make files or just some? It’d also help to know if the affected files differ in size, complexity, or content from those that open normally.

Yes, I’m running the latest version (125.9.10) on Windows 11. I already tried reinstalling the app, but the issue was resolved after logging out and logging back in. You can go ahead and close this issue. Thanks!
