Figma UI just got updated and Auto-layout settings are not visible now. Shortcuts like Shift + A in windows are applying auto layout, but its settings like changing direction, setting up positions. Why Figma keeps on changing its UI?

You were in draw mode, check the switch on the right of your toolbar. Left button is draw mode, middle edit/design mode, right dev mode.
