When I’m zoomed into a frame (some of the frame is off screen) and I paste to replace (one frame or multiple frames across the canvas), my viewport shifts awkwardly and aligns to the bottom of the same frame (or another frame? I’m not even sure). It’s quite disorienting and forces me to navigate back to where I was. This seems unintentional and I’d recommend not moving the viewport at all.
Thank you!
Hi
I just used paste to replace to try an reproduce this behavior, and I completely see and understand how disorienting this could be.
I don’t think it’s expected behavior , but I’m not quite to be honest. I am flagging this over to our team to take a closer look though.
I’ll report back as soon as I have more information.
Hi
The team confirmed that this is a bug, because we previously pan/zoom to whichever node was selected last. They reevaluated this behavior and decided to instead defer panning/zooming until pasting is complete and pan/zoom relative to the entire selection.
They started rolling out the fix for this last week. Can you please refresh your tabs and let us know if you’re still running into issues?
