Report a Problem

Hi, I accidentally clicked to create a new team and then got stuck on the “Add team members” page. Neither “Skip for now” nor the close button in the upper right works to leave this page. I’ve tried logging out, restarting the app, and even reinstalling it, but every time I open Figma, I’m still stuck on this page and can’t close it to go back to the homepage. The web version works fine. How can I resolve this?  

Hey Figma folks, I'm just curious if you guys had had a chance to look at this.  I really really like the application I was able to build out using prompts, but now I can't get it out of Figma. I'm  a back in developer who is learning to use front end tools through your awesome product, and seems like the absolute most important possible capability is not an option. I was genuinely shocked to read that you could not do this and I can't understand why.

Ciao,When you set a frame size (e.g. A4 sheet - 21x29.7cm) and set the resolution to 300dpi, when I go to export the PDF, the file is not the size of an A4... This is absolutely not correct. The file size should always be the same, but with different resolutions.Fix as soon as possible, Thank you.

I'm using Dev Mode in a paid Figma workspace, and I noticed that "Compare changes" only appears for certain frames or components. Some of them don’t show this option at all.I’ve noticed that it only appears for frames that were edited in the last 7 days — is that true?Are there any official rules or limitations for when the "Compare changes" button shows up?Would appreciate any clarification. I work with 2 co-workers, one (like me) focuses on UX Design, the other is in charge of the design system and token files. When doing some file clean up I discovered in the token Figma file, I had 200+ changes to Publish. The other UX designer showed that as well. The coworker in charge of the token files showed no changes to Publish, and nothing to update. We all then checked our version history and they are the same time and date.Any idea what could have caused this or how to fix it? We are using a company account, and I believe we all have the same editing credentials. Not sure what other variables would cause this misalignment in the same file.

Pretty simple.  They are individual prototype actions, proto actions are triggered sequentially, there’s no reason not to be able to combine them except for the fact that Figma “has decided you can’t do that.”Use case: I have an overlay menu. User clicks to open overlay menu, which has links to overlay views.  User clicks menu option to open overlay, I need to close the original menu overlay and open the new overlay.In a normal world I would just add both prototype actions and put them in the necessary order; close for the menu overlay first, then open overlay for the new panel.  Unfortunately “not possible ace”.This is silly and makes no sense.  Either provide a combined control (if you feel it’s needed) or just let us assign the necessary actions and put them in the order to effectively execute.-rt

Hi Figma team, I’ve noticed a few earlier posts regarding support for the latest version of the Inter typeface have been closed without resolution, so I wanted to reopen the conversation.Currently, Figma supports Inter 3.0, but Inter 4.0 introduces important enhancements—most notably the tabular numbers (tabnums) feature, which is particularly valuable when designing financial software and data-heavy interfaces.Would you be able to share if there are any plans to update the supported version of Inter in Figma? For reference, I’ve reattached the image that compares Inter 3.0 and 4.0, originally provided in a previous post. Appreciate any updates or context you can provide!Thanks so much,  

i didn't give any prompt today in figma make, still it is saying i am out of credit? how? i was trying to do it for 1st time!! 

A container set to horizontal auto layout with wrap, contains several instances of a component called ‘rectangle’.This rectangle component has 2 variants : A ‘default’ variant (a black square) and a ‘hidden’ variant (the same black square with a width and height set to 0px). Upon clicking the default square, the component changes to the ‘hidden’ variant.If you play the prototype, it’s great, upon clicking each ‘rectangle’, they disappear and the remaining instances wrap.But if I create a component from the container, the instances of this component don’t have the same behavior and the instance of ‘rectangle’ don’t wrap anymore.Am I missing something here ?Here’s the Link :  Thanks for your help.The idea is to create a large field with many deletable chips inside.

When creating a connected shape from a shape, the second shape does not appear. It seems that the action cannot be performed, in the video I tried many clicks with only one success.

I leave my Figma files and Figjam boards open over night. Every morning when I come in, it won’t let me write on the Figjam boards until I clear the cache in my browser. Not just the figma cache, but everything! Then I have to log back in again to access my files and continue to edit.  Why is this?

Color override is no longer possible on icon instances at all.I am managing a 1000+ icon library. Each icon is a component with variants for different sizes and regular/fill theme (+bespoke properties for icons that need it). All icons are flattened single shape, fill-rule corrected and all have a single layer named “Shape”. (Everything is set-up exactly like MS Fluent system). This library is published to multiple design files where colors are being overriden depending on states etc. inside their parent components. All of this worked before summer vacation, coming back to work now almost all icon instances have reverted back to the default color variable and I am completely unable to even re-override them with the correct colors again. The color is not editable at all now. Why are the overrides broken?? Why can overrides no longer be applied at all?? This is breaking an entire design system at a very crucial point in time for us, any help is very, very much appreciated. Thanks.

When pasting multiple images into FigJam, when the last file is selected before pasting the other files, the filename with the last alphabetical filename unexpectedly displays in the 1st position in FigJam. (See attached screenshots of the behavior.)   

I have a prototype that has some buttons that will change a variable (number) up and down. The code uses a conditional statement that will set upper and lower limits to the value. When you click the buttons a text field tied to the variable will update to the new value. It works when you are logged in. When I send it to someone who doesn’t have a login, the value on the screen will not change. If I advance to a different page of the UI and return to the first page, the value will be updated. So, the code is working, but the screen is not updating it. There are other buttons running code and they work. If I login to Figma… it works. It is only an issue for a user that is not logged in.

I am creating a new library, I have created a colour style, I have named it wrong and now I can not edit it because, with the new Figma UI the edit button for styles has disappeared. Where I can find the previous UI?

I'm designing a prototype in Figma with a canvas size of 1920x1080, but when I enter Present mode, the display doesn't match the actual size. When I choose "Show actual size", it enlarges the frame beyond 1920x1080. (Image 2) When I select "Fit screen", "Fit width", or "Fullscreen", the background gets compressed or scaled in a way that doesn't reflect my original design layout. (Image 1) I need the presentation to appear exactly as designed in 1920x1080 without distortion. Is there a workaround or setting I’m missing? It suppose to look like image 3.  Any help would be appreciated!

I have lost files from my Figma account. I looked at the drafts > deleted tab and its not there. I also filter searched all projects made by (me) and no luck finding it. I have a link the prototype because I had it linked to my old portfolio and it says that Prototype not found. Either this file doesn’t exist or you don’t have permission to view it. Ask the file owner to verify the link and/or update permissions. I used it through my email so I’m not sure why this would pop up. This project is really important, and I hope you can help me recover it.I did all the workarounds and still need help: THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELPThe file is in your deleted folder (Open your drafts > click the deleted page). How am I supposed to delete a file that I published if I can no longer access the original since I deleted it long ago ? What I see when I have the fileWhat I see otherwise

I’ve been trying to get a hold of sales to purchase Enterprise Figma and have gotten no response. Please connect me with a sales person. We have a UI/UX designer starting next week and we need this tool. 

I am experiencing an issue where I cannot update my library, specifically cards I have designed. When trying to publish it says there aren’t changes and the button is inactive. There are changes, I have even deleted sections, addes section etc… to test it and it still doesn’t work.

Unfortunally the layer order of Figma UI is a little off when using comments. The comment modal is behind the bottom sheet dragger, preventing me from sending my comment since I can’t click the blue button.  

Hex codes for fill and stroke in the right sidebar. Is it no longer possible to edit hex codes for fill/stroke directly in the right sidebar?Instead of becoming editable, clicking the hex code now opens the colour picker for me.I use my colour picker in HSB mode, so have always greatly appreciated being able to edit hex codes in the right sidebar (with one click) without having to enter and change the mode of my colour picker.This seemingly innocuous update really affects my workflow.I don’t see why the hex code can’t remain editable for efficiency’s sake.
